F.We really loved our meal at Ploughmans Restaurant. The service was super friendly and the meals were delicious. My partner ordered the Venison Pie and I had the Fish and Chips - both meals were huge and super tasty. We felt really relaxed in the garden area and what made it extra special is that we could bring out dog out with us and we were all made to feel really welcome. We would definitely come back again.
K.We come for a visit here every time (multiple times) when in Taupo. The food is always absolutely delicious, beer is cold and service is amazing. Great old school pub feel, awesome for families and the garden area is so nice. If you haven't been for a visit I would highly recommend 👌

K.This place has great large portions! The service is a bit slow to be honest, one of the only negatives about the place. We ate here twice and were stuffed and loved it each time. Be prepared to drop about $80nz for two people with a drink or dessert though! Photos as of feb 2020.

Charlotte served us and she was absolutely amazing, my partner has an onion allergy and she was back and forth with the kitchen to check that his food was going to be okay.
She was so friendly and bubbly and made us feel really welcome.
The food was great, crispy hot chips and the battered gurnad was lovely

B.Lived here for years and tried Ploughmans for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Nice big burger and fries, pizza’s looked good and the kids enjoyed the kids menu. Will be back again.
