Aaah just sooo soo yummmmy! We went for dinner on a Saturday and we're so satisfied! Delicious food and happy lovely owners! We ate and then ordered a whole round of seconds between the four of us! The Crunch Roll is a must! And wash it all down with Asahi & Korean Plum Wine! Mmmhmm! Thanks guys ❤️🧡😁

Sushi Paradise is absolutely one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Taupo, NZ. After sightseeing, my friend and I stopped in for a quick dinner. The food was amazing. I would definitely come back when I get the chance to.

Very nice sushi restaurant, they offer a basic range of Japanese foods. I ordered the vegetarian fried rice and it was really tasty with a good amount of vegetables.

I am a tourist, and I am not from New Zealand. When I visited Taupo 2 years ago, I end up coming to this restaurant. I had a splendid experience with the salmon sashimi as it is really fresh and also unique. I came back 2 years later, and it was still as good as when I came the first place. Very impressive.

Hesisitant to give it a 3 star. But really the food is quite average at best. Paid a hefty price for 3 separate dishes. The sushi rolls were probably the best of the lot but compared to other japanese places I've visited this is mediocre. Small portions as well. Paid 3 dollars extra for rice which was like 4 tablespoons on my takeaway order. The previous comments about the dry shredded chicken are spot on. Such a let down. 👎

My friend and I had an amazing dinner here last night! The service and the fish quality are exceptional. I would make recommendations but you can't go wrong ordering anything here, it's all amazing. became one of my favorite sushi spots. The waitstaff was super nice. :)

Loved this place!! This place was a pleasant surprise, but most importantly a welcome addition to the area. The food was fresh and had lots of selections.Their kiwi legend roll was delicious. I can't emphasis the freshness of the food. The service was impeccable. I love it when a waitress actually considers how we will enjoy our feed. She gave us recommendations that were spot on. Great place overall. :)

Went with my partner to have some nice foods. I got the California roll B (salmon avo cream cheese) and my friend got the beef donburi. Old fella was super friendly, he forgot my extra mayo but i didnt mind. Though they remembered and bought it out. Wasnt the cheapest but the sizes and quality of each ingredient was very good. Happy with my food. Miso was yum. He even turned on the heater for us because we probs looked cold. Disney music playing from the classic Chinese orchestra or nice karaoke music. Which is perfect for eating this kind of food too. Decor lacking for an upbeat complex. They need some lasers and uv art

Mark and his team are such delightful people to deal with!!! They are always working to keep things stocked, fresh, and even handle groups with ease - not something many sushi shops can do! It's a pleasure to go weekly with my love and enjoy sushi from Sushi Paradise!!!

The food here is absolutely delicious! The owners of the restaurant are absolutely friendly bunch. I would highly recommend this place. I visited with friends who had dietary requirements. The Chef was very accommodating to our needs. You can tell that they are really passionate about what they do. This place really sets a standard for Japanese food in my books.

OMG. Go here. Stop reading my review, pick up the phone, make a reservation now!!! The Chef’s selection was very good! It included a variety of sushi and as others have mentioned on here, the sushi itself leaves a butter lusting taste which leaves your mouth water. Go here. Really. Do it. It’s pricey, but save up. You must have this food at least once in your life.

Went to Taupo and felt like eating sushi & found this gem of a place. Didn't expect so much as there are many sushi shops in Auckland but these guys were exceptionally professional (open a branch in Auckland maybe??) Crispy chicken roll and salmon donburi were frickin' great. You can feel their finesse by eating the rice.. which affects the overall taste of the dish. Meh, been talking too much. Conclusion: Delicious.

Very overpriced, for me my mum and dad it was nearly $60! each piece nearly $2 which is not worth it all though i enjoyed my vege sushi my mum said her salmon was oily and rice very stale and hard okay but room for improvement
