C.The best curry house ever! A gem in the suburbs. Butter chicken was perfect. Naan bread was light and yummy. Poppa's here great too, so tasty. We had the mushroom dish, since it was mentioned in an earlier review. It was sooo worth it. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered medium hot, and it was just on the boundary of “too hot” but it was absolutely delicious.

A.Without a doubt the BEST Indian Food in Taupō. You can actually SEE the herbs and spices they use, its so full of flavour. The Naan is not too doughy, always has crispy edges, and a generous ammount of garlic YUM!

D.Hands down the best tasting Indian restaurant food in Taupo.I have been to every Indian restaurant in Taupo and the quality of there dishes are way beyond everyone else. If your after amazing takeout indian then you have found the place. It's literally a night and day difference.

Also had an experience where I dropped my take away bag which popped our butter chicken container, they then gave me a new container and topped up the spilt butter chicken! Great service and definitely an underrated restaurant
T.Very very delicious! Best we have found in Nz. So far only tried the usual suspects.. butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, which are both great. Looking forward to trying some of the dishes we don’t know.

S.First Indian restaurant we tried in NZ after eating local food for more a week. It's amazing good and authentic Indian food. Quantity wise it was ok, but taste was yummy. Only takeaway, opening a sit out shortly.

J.4 basic mains tried today, all excellent with lots of bold spices, texture (where appropriate) and layers of flavour. Even the mild korma was great! Meat and prawn quality v good too. Recommended!

k.This place was a really small. Pretty good take away place. Fairly price and was a little different from what I am used to in the states but still good. It was kind of out of the way but we had a little time to spare and figured we would give it a try.

K.This place is fantastic! If you're in Taupo give it a go!The vibe is friendly and low key. The music is upbeat and a perfect volume - not overbearingly loud and not too quiet. The staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful- they're an absolute delight. Most of the other places in Taupo are overcrowded and often overpriced - presumably due to being a common tourist spot.
This place is excellent value for money - and legitimately the best curry I have ever had! (and I'm from Wellington - there is tons of food there hahah) The outside looks pretty low key - but when you go inside its beautifully set up. Their serving dishes when you eat in are so unique (in a good way).
I also noticed during my time there that they seemed to have a lot of regular/repeat customers. I think that says a lot about their quality, consistency, and generally great attitude.

Restaurant has recently restructured, has very good atmosphere with cool indian music.We did chefs special curries, Indochinese, that was fabulous 😋. 10/10 for everything
