E.I found this restaurant online before I left Sydney, and it was further recommended by two locals. So glad we visited. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in NZ. Each bite was better than the next… so tasty, wholesome and clearly some great quality NZ produce. The service was great, and the staff were very hospitable and attentive. We will definitely return!

A.Superb food. I cannot stress that enough. For example, if you want to reset your standards for a perfect steak - this is the place to go, and I've seen some very good steaks before. A truly unique food experience, paired with carefully chosen wine. Welcoming staff, nice relaxed setting.
That said, it comes with a price tag. It is well worth the price though. And yes, to earlier comments, Antipodes sparkling water costs, ten bucks here (a little odd perhaps). Consider it a gratitude that you will definitely gonna want to leave to thank the guys.
We are certainly coming back. OMG, the steak was the one to die for. Keep it up.

H.Had been recommended this place by family who had visited twice in the space of a few weeks. Fantastic food! Had been to a few restaurants in Taupo, during our trip and wasn’t too fussed but this one is the pick of the bunch. We opted for the 3 course set menu and each course was an absolute palate pleaser! The calamari was mouth watering and everything was top, great job to the front of house team….they checked on us regularly and made sure everything was to our liking! Will defo recommend you guys and will be back in the future! Cheers
N.Terrific flavours, presentation and quality service. Not a rushed experience, drinks and meals being served were all well timed. A great experience. We had sword fish and the duck as mains and were delicious.

R.6 course degustation is a must! A rare gem in Taupo. $120 including the wine matching is a bargain for this quality of food and experience. Relative to the price, this might be one of the best dining experiences I have had in NZ or Australia, with some of the direct competition being several times more expensive. Thanks Jude and the team for a great night :)
