Happy to have found a good deli in Tauranga. The sandwiches weren’t too shabby and the iced coffee hit the spot. The staff and environment had a good vibe. I actually originally came for the pizza but they don’t start until 4pm, so I’ll definitely be coming back to try them another time!! Keep up the good work (:

What a wonderful experience….. a New York Deli experience in Tauranga. The mortadella sandwich I had yesterday was so good, I came back with friends to try more today. The focaccia bread is crispy to the bite and sucks up all the delicious juicy sauce. The fillings are generous and oh so tasty, and moresome! If you haven’t been there, it’s a must. A true deli feel with great service. I’m now planning to give their pizzas a try.

Lloyd’s is consistently good. Vibe is always on and the Sammy’s are arguably the best in the game. Haven’t tried the pizzas yet but the slices were looking great today.

Ayeeee this Lloyd is the best kinda Lloyd. Went for a breakkie. Stunning sandwich. With equally beautiful coffee. Love this place but it does get a bit loud and rowdy and difficult to talk inside but thats kinda the charm of the place. Surprisingky good filter coffee as well.

Normally don't review place until I become obsess with it 2 months recently had the pleasure of dining at Lloyd Bakery, and it was truly exceptional. The highlight of my visit was the incredible sandwich I ordered. The bread had a satisfying chewiness, complemented by tender and flavourful fillings. It was a culinary masterpiece that left me craving more. The cookies here are an addiction an absolute delight, with its chewy texture and satisfyingly substantial bite. Been a regular spot for me ever since The service at Lloyd is always amazing, with attentive and friendly staff and makes experience was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for the best sandwich you've ever had, Lloyd is the place to go. will visit soon( probably tomorrow haha)

Had heard about Lloyds Deli from a work colleague, so decided to check it out. Boy, they did not disappoint! I got the Beef & Pickle toasted sandwich which is pretty much a toasted Reuben. If it's not the best sandwich I've ever had, it's very close! Great bread, perfectly toasted and a healthy dose of filling. Loved every bite. Can't wait to try the others!

This was a SWEET find for coffee and pizza lovers alike. Found one of the Baristas from Folk has set up his own place. Air con inside, a few tables outside on a very accessible side street. Barber shop upstairs. These guys really know how to make a good brew and have the Almond Breeze milk, which is the only good alty. The sandwiches looked incredible but we weren't here to eat today. Please get washable cups for your tap water tho guys.

Came to try the sandwhiches! Not bad 😉 Ordered two toasted sammys. got the pulled pork and the beef & pickle. Pulled pork was def my fav & had more filling then the othe. Both were very good sandwiches! Great chewy bread. Loved the music! Will try some of the other sammys & coffees next time. Thanks guys!

This place is located in the Tenpin bowling alley in Tauranga; so we were a little dubious about what it would be like. As it turned out, they make incredible artisan pizzas. As of now (Jan 2019) there are only four choices: margherita, mushroom, pepperoni, and a special that changes regularly. We opted to split two pizzas: the margherita and mushroom and loved them both, especially with the chili oil they served on the side. We found that one pizza per person was about right for us, but light eaters might be able to split one. This place is truly a gem!

I’ve been to Lloyd’s way too many times for the short amount of time I’ve been in Tauranga, it’s that good. My boyfriend and I absolutely love the Italian Deli sandwich— I can’t recommend it enough. Since we loved the sandwiches so much, we had to try their pizza and cookies which are also both to die for. Not to mention, some of the best coffee I’ve had in New Zealand.

Sandwich! Mmmmm sandwich! House-made bread. Simple, delicious sandwiches that make you want to come back for more. The coffee is an equal part of the attraction. Absolutely great staff, clean and welcoming store front. I’ve had all the sandwiches! Can’t wait to have em all again.

I have been a semi regular customer at Lloyds for about a year now, however it seems that they have dropped the ball recently. Yesterday I ordered an egg roll and the egg was not cooked properly. I messaged Lloyds straight away and attached a video of the uncooked egg, but was disappointed to not even receive a reply. It’s definitely not the cheapest breakfast either so I was really gutted, and unfortunately I will not be returning.

Been here once before for a coffee and it was perfect. There's plenty of coffee shops in Tauranga but few that make a good brew. Today I got the chicken sandwich on a whim and I'm not regretting it. Best thing I've ever had, is now my top pick for a medium lunch. Will be back.

Pretty good deli. The Pastrami toastie was pretty good, I'd give that 4 stars. The ham wasn't as good, though. Too much mustard and stingy with the meat. I wouldn't have that again. I'd give that one 2.5 stars. Chips were solid, no complaints there. The barista forgot to make our coffee, and we had to remind him. They weren't overly busy at the time, so a poor oversight. I'm glad we didn't bring the kids. The music wasn't kid friendly, lots of swearing and N-words. That's fine if that's the vibe they're going for. But I wouldn't recommend it for kids. Overall, it was OK, and I'd have the Pastrami again. But definitely not as good as 'Cheese on Toast' in Auckland.

THE best pizza in Tauranga! I fell in love w this pizza when they were part of 13th Ave Bowling Alley. Convinced my friend to get a take away on a stormy night to go with our movie at home. We were NOT disappointed! Simple toppings with the an amazing base and really tasty. Delicious and worth every bite x Also they now do individual slices, amazing sandwiches, coffee, cookies and cold drinks. Recommend! Music and atmosphere are great too.

Effortlessly cool, Lloyds manages to capture the same kinds of feelings I had when I first saw the film Reservoir Dogs and first listened to Massive Attacks 'Blue Lines'. Coffee, food, tunes. They do what they do so well with excellence & cute smiles.

As close as your going to get in NZ, it's all in the base, perfect stretch and crispy risen edges which is what makes a good pizza. If you want a mound of slop with more toppings than there are grains of sand on the planet, you know who to call, if you want a good pizza, call these guys.

Hands down best coffee in town. I have no idea how they manage to make the smoothest oat milk flat whites EVERY TIME. Their Ronald breakfast sandwich is freaking delicious and always so fresh. Super friendly staff too. Keep up the great work team!
