S.Fantastic food! Highly recommend everything! We were a group of five and ordered salmon, burgers, pork belly to name a few meals.
The portion size is generous and quality outstanding. Well done Black Sheep.
B.No atmosphere at all, we were the only ones there for 3 hours. Ordered in advance and meals still came out staggered. Some meals were really lovely mine not so. Very limited gluten free options. Art exhibition / sales was interesting on trip to toilets. Staff were lovely.
K.We went to the Black Sheep last night for my sons birthday. Outstanding service, food and area for the children to play. The menu was full of great dishes and the price seemed very good. We will back.

L.About 10 minutes from bethlehem this lovely little pub is nestled in amoungst the bush on the way to Katikati...a visit for the Rock Blues Review provided live entertainment and beautifully set out garden bar planted with palms surrounding cabanas if you wish for cover from the sun...reasonably priced drinks with meals available.....when busy the bar service can get a little slow and serviettes need to be served with meals but otherwise a lovely place to take a date or a group for a work due or birthday celebration...wonderful night

S.What a little gem! I was very sceptical when walking in and seeing the setup but the food and service was fantastic. Can recommend the prawn green curry and the Thai beef salad. Friends had the lamb burger and rated that also. This place has alot of potential for sure.

T.Food better than anticipated, given a 3 star beacause the bathrooms not clean, the whole resturant needs a good dusting, cobwebs on the tables, broken light fittings, weeds coming through the concrete paving..such a simple thing to do..

Staff were very friendly, service was great, prices were reasonable, lots of room between tables which was good. Now the food, the food was the best ive had in a very long time. Steak and chips cooked to perfection, and the roast vegetables were something else!
Proof is with the kids though. All three of my kids ate everything on their plates. We couldn't have been happier with our meals.

B.GREAT PLACE! We used this restaurant as the venue for our engagement party and it was exactly what we wanted. Relaxed atmosphere, great food, plenty of mingling space and lovely outdoor areas for photos. The staff made it a success and were great to work with. Thank you for making our engagement party such a special day.
M.Went for light lunch but other times we have been for sunday afternoon jam sessions in summer and the the crafts market. The owner who I assume hails from Australia has set up a great place reminding me of a typical Australian roadhouse. Great atmosphere and lots of things to do and great menu. Completely recommended!

F.I ordered a steak.looked good, but it was totally covered in gravy, and very hard to cut.
Maybe leave the gravy off and have it in a small jug to pour over by the customer.
Love going to the Black sheep as it's our local.

J.Well we had a most amazing night on Saturday, the blue bash tash charity night. Amazing band staff we very accommodating in every way. Food was lovely looking forward to going back for a sunday lunch. Highly reccomend.
C.This is a beautiful restaurant just outside Tauranga. The first striking thing is the sprawling seating arrangement both inside and outside that provides excellent ambiance. The next striking thing are the super reasonable food prices (between 10-20 for a very complete meal). The food was delicious and plentiful for the price and I had difficulty finishing it. It is conveniently located for roadtripers going into Tauranga from the north or for people looking for a quaint place who don't mind a drive. Highly recommended.

H.A great bar and function area. We enjoyed an engagement there, delicious snacks and great service. Drinks, while well priced were quite weak, a double shot was more like a single shot.

D.This place has gone through several different changes in the past 5 years...but now they have done their patrons proud. Friendly and warm atmosphere, a smile from the staff and good food and drink to boot. Worth checking out on a Friday night or even on the last Sunday of the month when the craft market is in full swing!!

T.Was a firm favourite. Had not been there for a year and unfortunately went on the last Sunday of the month when there was a craft market and therefore shoddy slow service. We stood at the till for at least 10 minutes to give our order and discover that $15.00 buys 4 prawns. Side salad was unimaginative and little more than lettuce. Spot the feta and win a trip to feta land.

T.Haven't been there for quite some time. But looking forward to it soon. It's the (A PLACE IN WHAKAMARAMA) to visit. Great bar staff & Kai across the court yard and the patrons are AWESOME AS. It's worth a visit for sure
L.Delicious meals, friendly and helpful staff, lovely coffee and an out of the ordinary trendy yet rustic dining experience with a retro/vintage appeal, lovely outdoor area, perfect for business /conference meetings or personal / family dining. Also through a side door your canine friend is welcome to join you in the outdoor area. Licensed restaurant. Also a bar next door for those more into some poker machines and a drink or two after work.

D.Went to the BS today love the chilli mussles and prawns hubs had the corn burger our 12 year old loved his chips and hubs ones lol.. We keep going bak so relaxing enjoyable staff and owners always cheerful rock on..
H.Peta and the Black Sheep team hosted our wedding reception and supplied canapes for the ceremony. I could not be more grateful for the amazing job they did! The food is still being raved about, the guests loved the atmosphere and I got to have the fun and stress-free day that I always wanted. Thanks heaps Peta and Team!
J.This place is just off state highway two after going pass the Omokoroa heading in the direction of Tauranga, a great place for coffee, Bruch, lunch and Dinner or just a catch up for a coffee and cake. Nice location to head out of town to for a change, really enjoyed our coffees and cakes and will be back
N.I only had a quick pint here one time but it was a pretty cool place and had the feel of some of the better bars from back home. Definitely hitting this place in the summer months.
