A.Really enjoyed eating here on the upstairs deck. Our waitress was lovely. The menu offered a lot of choice and was delish! Will say this though, both times we came the young girl downstairs with black hair behind the bar didnt say hello to us or make us feel welcomed at all. Simply barked at us "vax passes" no hello nothing. Apart from her the experience was lovely
E.Fantastic Vegan Pizza! Choose your own toppings and create the pizza of your dreams! It was so good! Recommend this place for vegans and non-vegans alike for the great atmosphere, service and of course food!
M.I had the Chilli Caramel Pork Belly w apple coleslaw. It was delicious, but at $31, was a bit pricey for what you got. They had quite a few beers on tap at reasonable prices and the view up on the balcony of the strand and sea was great. Would definitely go again.
S.Really good food. Had the pork belly, crispy chicken, onion rings, garlic bread and the Blue Breeze cocktail. All very well presented and cooked. Staff made our evening very enjoyable. Big thank you from Aucklanders :)
R.Took a table upstairs and had a great view of the harbour. The lunch menu was quite interesting and very reasonable. Staff were quite attentive and friendly. If you’ve got a decent lunch break check it out.

Personally I love mushroom pizza, potato pasta, and duck pancake. I can say best food on Strand.

S.Had a lovely meal and drink here, seated upstairs and overlooking the inner harbour on a pleasant driest evening. A private function was being held downstairs. By all appearances, a popular dining destination. Staff generally warm and helpful. Recommended...
G.Some good vegetarian options. Cauliflower tacos are good. Two taco meals and 4 beers around $70.
There is a nice patio area outside for dining. But the road traffic is a little close. It would be nice if Tauranga council made that a walk-only area. (Also currently (Jan 2021) construction across the road).

G.Just had one of the most enjoyable meals for a long time. First, the lady who served us (Mary) was fantastic, not over serving, much humour and very pleasant.
The gnocchi was like clouds.....one of the best have ever tasted, I had the prawn linguini also very good, the pork belly, my friend was in heaven with every mouth full, the pizza was the only one need a bit of attention.
Then onto puds, the cream caramel was silky smooth.
Well done Brooklyn , will certainly be back and a special thanks to Mary for making it a lovely outing.

C.Upstairs as a function the banquet was great. 17 of us and there was plenty of food lots of little selections that when you start you think there isn't going to be enough but by the time you finish there is ample. 4 people share a selection off each platter the only thing that could be improved is the pizza as in we chose the flavour and one flavour was put between 4 people to bad if people down the other end wanted that flavour, if you were lucky and you got a nice one in front of you and got the first pick at it brilliant but if you wanted the flavour down the end you might be out of luck and it was all gone. We didn't do desert so i cant comment on that. Had a lovely night in all do thanks guys will definitely come again 👍

S.I was very lucky recently when a friend gave me a voucher for a meal at Brooklyn. What an amazing gift. My husband and I went for an evening meal and oh my, what an experience. The staff were genuinely engaged, the atmosphere was vibrant and then the food - it was magnificent. We will definitely been visiting here again.
J.This is a great place with lots of drinks options and great tasting food. Went for a work social and had some of their menu options served as finger food. Some was great but the Pizzas were not the best.

G.The pizzas were delicious, but the waitress was irritating -checking her watch constantly, snapping rubbish bags and noisily emptying glass recycling at the bar. Not great for atmosphere!Brooklyn Patio is a great place to go with friends if you like the whole 'shared plate' thing. There were six of us in our group, and we ordered around 8 dishes to share, which was plenty of food.
S.*Update* Since I initially posted this review, I can report that the owner has gone to extreme measures to contact me and apologise for the service received on the night of my hens do. He has also informed me that the bar manager in question was dealt with appropriately. While I appreciate this follow up, it still does not change the fact that my hens night was heavily impacted by this service. Amending my 1 star review to 3 stars to reflect the owners attempts to reconcile the situation.
After booking in advance for a hens night we were asked to leave 5 minutes after sitting down with our drinks. Then after leaving a disappointed post on their Facebook page, instead of dealing with the issue, they deleted the post. Terrible service through and through.
Also, the bar manager who asked us to leave, who was not polite in any way, shape, or form, was then at another bar down the Strand having multiple beers and a smoke - on duty.
N.Went for lunch and had some of the best salads we’ve ever eaten. The craft beer was great too and the view from the top floor makes the whole experience worth the slightly increased prices. Top notch.

Had a great looking pork Burger however it was a Lil to greasy that left me feeling heavy as I rolled out the door.
The atmosphere is no doubt a funky trendy outlook towards the estuary so enjoy the top deck views.
I think I was blessed with great attendance from staff today as i found they all were lovely and attentive.

A.I used to come to Brooklyn Patio for lunch reasonably often a few years ago, but last week was my first visit for around four years. In that time the pizza menu has changed a bit, however it is still very good. Four of us ate lunch at BP and were very impressed with the flavour, size and value of what we had. The pizzas were very tasty and had a lovely soft-ish, though not too thick base.
P.Excellent service with good quality food and friends made for a great night out. We enjoyed the banquet menu and found that it was a very good sized meal for the four of us. We'd do it again.
D.Food was really good. Served in a timely manner. Would have liked the option of salt n pepper. It was such a pity that the staff just didn't seem to care. No pleasantries, no 'how was everything' or thank you for coming. That said the food left us agreeing to return as there were some more options we want to try.

J.This is our favourite restaurant in Tauranga. The food is fabulous and the service is always on point. They have come to know us well, and even know what we want to drink when we arrive. We love sharing our food, so the small plates are excellent. I highly recommend. Great ambiance, friendly people and mind blowing food.
A.Crispy chicken at this place is off the chain! Took my wife on a date here and we loved sitting in the sun on the only patio on the strand. Pretty special place I would highly recommend.
On a side note the people next to us ordered crispy chicken to start with and when they got to desert they decided instead to just get more crispy chicken...That's how good it is!
