V.The restaurant was overbooked when we arrived with a large party being accommodated. We had booked through an external site, not directly through the restaurant. Despite the lack of space, the staff made a good effort to accommodate us and the food and service was excellent

R.Hi Robinpreet i am regular to Castle 91 and i got shop opposite of this place if you don't pay your bills you are not gonna get services for free. you owe money to my shop as well. i was there last night when you entered without Mask they didn't allow you to enter and you are lying .we were sitting on other table. they told me that you haven't paid for your food last time for takeaway.it is awkward and not acceptable in NZ.
E.Goat curry was amazing. Drunken chicken was so nice, moist and tender and flavoursome. Note have as a starter rather then with mains as it becomes over shadowed with the stronger flavours. Naan were crisp rather then soft.
P.The food and service from the staff member was very pleasant.
M.This restaurant presents authentic Indian food in the heart of tauranga. The staff are friendly and the food is exquisite. I cannot recommend this restaurant high enough. If you are visiting tauranga please make the effort to come here, you will not be disappointed.

N.Great lunch deal $13 for a lunch portion curry and rice, naan bread, poppadom, and a drink. Butter Chicken tastes amazing and they also do a Butter Beef! Very friendly service and nice atmosphere.
g.The food at this restaurant is pretty great. But the naan is always a bit too crunchy for my level of chewing experience. And always end up with a wee crust wedged between one of my teeth and gums. But the curry and service is excellent!

R.Lovely Indian restaurant with good ambience. Food quality is really good but the service is little bit slow. You have plenty of parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Prices are bit high when compared to other Indian restaurants at Tauranga. But for the good food quality this can be affordable. Overall nice and good place to eat.

K.This is probably the best Indian i have had in a long time. Really fresh. The samosas were crispy and delicious. The kids butter chicken properly marinated instead of the sauce just poured over steamed chicken like most places. The staff were so lovely. The mango lassi so yum!!
A.This has got to be the best Indian food in Tauranga. I've tried at least 5-6 other places and always been disappointed. I had the chicken korma and my husband had the butter chicken. Both were tasty and the rice and naan bread were both good as well. The staff were friendly and our food was ready promptly. Definitely try if you're looking for a good Indian place.

A.We have a delivery meal, it arrived piping hot and everything we ordered was so good. Amazing flavours, we had Butter Chicken and lamb sagwala, both curried were delicious. We had saffron rice also which was lovely also Will definitely order again
S.Our first time eating here, but we will be back again. The food was excellent. The menu had lots of choice including many vegetarian options. The service was very good and the owners were keen to know whether the food was to our liking. They didn't just add chili to get extra heat, they added various spices which matched our taste buds.

We booked out the restaurant for a party and despite it being booked out they continued to take reservations meaning that we had random people eating whilst we were trying to keep the party going. A bit disappointed with the service as they were short staffed but overall it was pretty good. Would go again but would not host a party again.
M.First time ordering here we used menulog. Fantastic service and quick. Omg the tastiest butter chicken we've had. I've had nice but this was the best. So much flavour. Highly recommend.

J.We absolutely love the one in otorohanga, so we thought we'd try tauranga. No where near as nice, the meat was tuff and chewy. Tasted nice but wouldn't go there again. Will stick to otrohonga.

J.Can't comment on the in-store experience as I've only had Castle 91 delivered, but I found the curry very standard. Not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but I've certainly had far better. The Rice was fine, the Naan was pretty good. While I don't have any complaints, Castle 91 wouldn't be my first choice.
