R.First time there. Absolutely loved the food! From the moist chicken burger to the dessert, everything was A++ Made to feel welcome when we arrived plus the wait staff were on point. Would definitely recommend to try this place out if you haven't already.

P.Update 2021 - Always great food at the Local and the host is just so friendly as are the rest of the staff. Try the rosti stack! Amazing! - 2019 -Great Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Meat was tender, capsicum and onion cooked just right. Very tasty. Won't be using your fingers for this one though.

A.We are out of towners who visited this restaurant with local friends who recommended it. The restaurant was absolutely humming, the waitress was friendly and gave first class service. She was well worth tipping if I supported tipping which I don't. The food was also plentiful and excellent and the girls loved their desserts. Highly recommended.

Service was friendly and fast, food was very tasty. I recommend the flat bread it was lovely. Music didn't over power the conversation and parking was convenient.

B.Had lunch here today with a friend - wet cold day, so lovely & cosy in a booth at the Good Local. Mark, our waiter/owner was not only attentive, but very friendly & helpful. We chose a shared pizza - beautiful crisp base, plenty of tasty toppings, our choice was chicken, bacon, spinach, cranberry sauce & we were allowed to choose feta in place of the brie. Really yummy & a nice glass of their Doris Plum cider. Perfect lunch!

Only issue (and a very small one) was we finished our mains and there were a few staff wiping down tables and re-arranging tables (assuming for breakfast/lunch set up the next day) so there was quite a delay in having our main plates cleared and being offered a dessert menu. Other than that, service was top notch and a great atmosphere.

A wide selection of freshly cooked food is available from the Kitchen. Suitable for all, caters for all ages, friendly staff and manager who really look after you. I.I've been here abynch of times now, which I guess is a great recommendation in its self. We had pizza and arancini balls. Heaps of food, nicely cooked and very tasty. Staff were pleasent and welcoming, as always. The restaurant was clean, tidy and more importantly at this time of year, warm. Can't wait to go back.

A.A cold thursday night, Had drinks by the outside heater while we waited for tables to clear. Was very busy Quiz night. My friend new this, but booked anyway . It was there Wedding Anniversary. Then went into the other Covered Area through the Restaurant.There was 11 of us, so very long wait for Food to arrive. Then Fish orders were mucked up. I was given a double drink, as an Apology which was nice of the staff. Genarally a very good place to eat. I just wouldnt go back on a Quiz night.

Great food and 'Good George' beer which is always exceptional but their stongest asset is their staff. Absolutely faultless in every way.
These guys should open a high end restaurant somewhere more exotic. They would totally nail it.
