Food was just as you would expect from Macca's. Quick service but that was outside busy times. Was clean and tidy and they've just done renovations so it looks quite nice inside. The playground is shut because of Corona, so maybe go to the drive thru and take go to Centennial Park if you've got children who need to burn off some energy. The Monopoly competition is running now so there's heaps of freebies to win.

There was a line of cars waiting even at 2330 hrs. They should have the restaurant open till at least midnight. Other than that, no problems. The staff was polite and got the order right. They didn't give serviettes, other than that, no complaints.

The wait was a nuisance. Fries cold, burgers just warm by time we got them. Which makes me a little reluctant to return.But watching the guy put stickers on deliveries was more annoying and their wait time was worse. I watched an order with a sundae and a burger meal inside took over 5 minutes or maybe longer before given to driver. Perhaps understaffed? But there looked like sufficient on the day. The delivery drivers had long wait times. I was greatful I got mine before some of them. I feel sorry for the person that ordered the sundae. Do you need gloves to put stickers on? The man was having issues and ended up slapping on a few extras. Do you think its wise to put a sundae in same bag as burger? Maybe next time it will be better. In all fairness drive thru was busy.

Place says it supports dine in and it's latest update confirms that it is still doing dine in; however when I went on wensday they had dine in closed and only drive through open. Apparently it's been like this for a while, updating you details on maps would be appreciated...

Must be the cleanest MC D I've been in. Service was great, received my order within a minute from the counter, food was tasty and the staff was friendly. Talk about setting the bar! Keep it up

Great experience working here remotely one afternoon. Got a free sundae also. Only downside is that it was a bit hard to find power plugs upstairs, so I left when my laptop ran out of battery.

I came in when they were getting absolutely swamped via drive thru but they did the best they could even tho I had to go up to counter for other half of my order...only to have my said order end up coming around much later(2nd helping for free)! 😅 On the McCafe side, there coffees always come out silky smooth & my dirty chai was no expectation(fully enjoyed)! Makes me even more disappointed with my local Mccas. Definitely can't say errors/delays were on them alone as the people that apparently ordered to pickup at counter, ended up having stuff look for them around entire shop to hand to. Anyway, pretty decent & honest of them checking in with people when realise they have someone waiting longer than intended(sighted when checked in with another customer).

Only my second time here and I decided try the techno ordering stand. I was so slow and one of the attendees noticed and came to help. He was incredibly patient and great teaching me. Nothing was any trouble with other things and with other people too. Excellent staff member. I should have asked his name for this response.

Not too bad with the upgrade. However, some serious staff training is well and truly needed. Communication between the Frontline staff and customers need to be impeccable, especially on the drive thru. Management need to watch how they speak with their staff, infront of customers, especially if staff botch up an order. It's actually unprofessional

Completely redone inside, much more of an industrial look now. The separate McCafe counter has been removed. 😔 A lot more self order kiosks. You can still order at the counter but it isn't sign posted. The playground is still a family favourite, and there are tables outside so you can watch the little ones.

This is a big operation for New Zealand. The drive through is almost constant. There are plenty of big screen ordering stations with the option of waiting for a number or taking a number and having the food delivered to your table. Take a number - a much better option. Yesterday my order was somehow missed and after waiting for 10 -15 minutes I enquired. There were many apologies and some extra food thrown in. I was happy, but I think the drive through gets a lot of priority over walk-in customers?

Don't expect a reciept or napkins with your drive thru order. Reasonably fast when they aren't slammed at odd hours of the night. The new layout is better than the old layout.

Walked in and ordered, the ticketing printer didn't work so had to remember what was ordered. Meal was cooked to expectation. I don't normally eat McDonald's but with the wife in hospital and this was relatively close by.

Drive through service is pretty abysmal and would be faster going inside and ordering. Food quality is good but due to time very little care is taken in presentation often Patty's are half out of the bun. Customer service is great but newer staff need more training with managers etc instead of workers as bad habits are often passed on.

After all it is Macdonalds and you do get Macdonalds type food which may not be the biggest and best... but after the upgrade to this particular macdonalds, it now looks like a modern and clean restaurant. It is probably the best Macdonalds in tauranga so I recommend it over majority of the other macdonalds.

3pm today a young Asian man assisted my children and I into your store. He was very pleasant, kept an eye on our order time, followed up on it and was extremely determined in his role. Most impressive employee I’ve struck at a McDonalds ever! He deserves a raise!

They were mega busy but the buns were a bit dry and possibly a little stake. Other than that exactly what you'd expect. BTW not much covid scanning action here. Think I was the only one!

Good fast friendly service. My kids loved interacting with other kids in the playground. We were visiting the city and we impressed with the fact that the playground is outside. It was a sunny day so not sure what it would be like when raining. Playground is covered though.

Had a quick snack between 530-630pm and reasonably quiet. The staff were pleasant and roaming staff only too happy to offer information or help customers eating out while cleaning rubbish away from tables, left behind by lazy customers - the young lady even 'offered' to take ours which was not necessary! Clean venue and plenty of areas to sit in and relax. Staff on check-out counters were patient and very polite :) Is located on a busy intersection so take care entering and exiting but ample parking available - but we did visit during a reasonably quiet time period.

It's a fast food franchise is probably the best way to describe it. Most of the time they get the order correct and in the Drive Thru the line is quick. My biggest gripe is the lack of napkins and having cold fries. Which is why we don't visit much.

I generally have a good experience at 11th Ave McDonald’s - the food is consistent and wait time are okay. Tidy inside also. But today I had an issue with the drive thru team telling me I cannot order a coffee with this deal from the app - only soft drinks - not even the hot choc or normal filter coffee, non Mccafe drinks usually available. I’ve ordered this before with all different kinds of hot drink and no issue. Some consistency with the training of the team would be really good here. It’s frustrating as a customer - the drive thru counter person was just doing their job and were polite enough, it’s management not taking the time to educate and help where needed. I don’t usually want a Fanta at 8am :)

It's getting long in the tooth and could do with a spit and polish. The guy taking our order had to repeatedly be told what we wanted and still got it wrong. We were given a number but couldn't see where we were supposed to be watching for it so by the time someone noticed us still waiting, our drinks were rather cold. On top of that my Chai latte was amazingly sweet. I think I now have diabetes. Luckily I go there but once a year.

Mc donalds tauranga is okay. It could be a little cleaner at times and the staff could act like they want to be at work, considering theyre getting paid to do so. Dont get me wrong i know the jobs hard at times. But you have to atleast care a little bit.

Not bad. When it's busy, you must check your order to make sure you have received what you ordered. Staff make mistakes when busy and under pressure. So double check is a must both ordering inside and the drive thru. Also make sure you listen to your order when it is read back to you for confirmation.

Just a standard McDonald's. New Zealand McDonald's are quite expensive. You know that the food will be safe though. The soft serves are the best of all fast food joints in New Zealand. The only food I come for are the soft serves. Unfortunately the soft serves are more expensive now. Still get them every now and then.

This is a substantially large McDonald's. There's nothing overly special or out of the norm about it. It's the place to go for a standard McDonald's experience. The staff are friendly. The place lost two stars for being somewhat unclean but that might be unique to the day we visited.

This would have to be one of the best McDonald's in New Zealand, as I have been going here since 1983 and I now talk my kids there and they love sitting upstairs watching out the windows like I did, plus the booths are still there and a great reminder of its history.
