Right across the road from Tauranga hospital so a very central location. Cant praise the lovely staff enough as well. Food was devine - especially the Hummingbird bird cake!! 😋 the only downfall was the beetroot Latte needs a little work.

Lovely yummy cakes! The keto cheesecake was absolutely on point and the plum pistachio cake was also very nice.

A handy cafe opposite the Tauranga Hospital used by medical staff as well as members of the public. Comfortable establishment with a wide range of cakes and cooked food. Hawthorne's coffee from Havelock North roastery, the decaff is smooth and satisfying made by a skilled barista. The wildberry cheesecake is my favourite match for the coffee. Coffee is served in a glass with a paper serviette wrap...as it should be. Polite caring staff look after you. I recommend this cafe as your local Google guide.

This cafe is outstanding. The food is very attractively presented and tastes delicious. I particularly like that the food is labelled keto, dairy free, egg free, vegan gluten free etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Coffee was ok and the food is basically fast cabinet food that gets reheated in a microwave. Good if you're in a rush like most of the hospital workers who frequent here, but not so good for the food flavours.

The food was good but I thought my eggs benedict with bacon was bordering on the smallest I've had. The toilets really let them down. Probably a result of the popularity of the place but the two cubicles I saw were a very grim (and this was at 10am in the morning). Toilets removed, the place is open and contemporary with a good feel.

Love this Cafe. We went there to celebrate 2 birthdays. What we were so happy about was the keto choices. There were only a few but we were grateful and enjoyed our choices.

Lovely place with friendly helpful staff. Coffees were great. The food was beautifully presented, but 2 of us had pieces of tart. These, in spite of names like ham & egg and chicken and tomato, were mainly pumpkin. My wife, a pumpkin lover, enjoyed hers, but sadly for me I could taste little other than pumpkin. Could be better labelled pumpkin tart. Would have to find something more appealing next time as my wife and daughter would be keen to go again

Five stars are not enough. The best cafe! Streets ahead of its competitors. Staff and owner are friendly and happy. The food is ever changing, appetising, tasty and served with a smile. Coffee is great too! Pleasant ambience and dog friendly.

We had a hard time deciding on what to get as they have such a great and varied menu! We settled on the eggs benedict with bacon, plus coffee and a caramel frappe. Both eggs were done perfectly (I have mine firm, my boyfriend likes them runny), lots of crispy bacon and delicious hollandise sauce! Service was good, and I thought the pricing was reasonable. Would def eat here again!

Sourdough was to hard to cut and so small - then add the holes and my poached egg practically fell right through it. Poached egg wasn’t runny. 3 tiny bits of bacon streaks that were chewy. Very disappointed in the food. Very overpriced. Gave 3 Stars as the coffees great.

Great looking place.. but no menus.. had no idea what they did apart from food in display cabinet.. no drinks listed anywhere apart from 3 special coffees. Had family with me .. might have spent more if there was a menu.. either on the wall or on the table. Service was good
