Absolutely beautiful place with great atmosphere. We definitely recommend the beef lasagne and the steak with blue cheese sauce. We love the fact that it was BYO for $5. The service wasn't particularly super friendly but given 5 stars because the food was insane!!!! Definitely going back.

Small cozy place with great Italian food. Probably the best Italian restaurant in Tauranga. I love the pizza! Though i wish it has more toppings. :) And the steaks were good and very filling as well. The prices are reasonable for the taste and size of the meal. The owner/manager was welcoming and hands-on in attending to customers. It was also easy to book despite reserving within such short notice. Their staff was pleasant, smiling and attentive too.

Charming and romantic. This is a lovely little hidden gem that we will be coming back to. Italian is my favorite and it did not disappoint. We had a Garlic pizza bread to start. Husband had chicken and bacon Tortellini and I had bacon and mushroom Fettuccini. Portion sizes are perfect. Staff are friendly. Usually wouldn't need a booking. Good prices too.

We tried the take away service at Salvo D'or tonight for the first time. The only thing that upset me was that we have waited until now to try it! The food is amazing and I would recommend to everyone that they should try this awesome little place! The steak was just perfect, can't wait to try out the rest of the menu!

Our party of two had reserved a table. On arrival we were shown to a table adjacent to the kitchen and toilets. We rate service as slow. Slow to take our order, and slow to bring it to table. Being apart from other diners we could not determine if our service was typical. However, The meals we ordered were excellent quality and quantity. We enjoy Italian cuisine and will return hopefully to put in a more positive review.

We found this little gem by pure chance! Just googled places that do pasta dishes, does takeaway and were close to our address... We ordered a fettucine and a carbonara - we haven't been anywhere else because both dishes are absolutely delicious, great portions and fairly priced too!! They also do eat in - everytime we've been to pick up it's been packed!! So I suggest booking a reservation if you want to eat in or ring and order ahead so you're not waiting too long!! Highly recommend!

Absolute little gem! The food was so delicious! It has a very cosy, warm, almost homey kind of feel to the place. Wait time was a little bit long but the staff were all very busy trying to keep up with the demand. The food was definitely worth the wait though! Would recommend :)

Arguably the best restaurant in Tauranga. Cozy, Fascinating and a great vibe throughout the place. Simply ignore the bad reviews and take my word for it. Best customer service and a friendly chief that if talented with italian dishes. The staff and people were welcoming and easy to talk. Very nice to us and treated us like genuine people. The building has a rustic itilian street style. It is a quite small building that is made big and comfortbale to dine in. There are alot of italian antuiqes and items throughout whick gives it a nice vibe like I said 😉 I cannot describe how nice the food is and how it is for a reasonable price along with a decent portion. Great little restaurant! We had two antipasto between six, that was more than enough. Then a mixture of pizza and pastas from the menu. All the food was amazing. The kids had a great time and we ate way too much. Would highly recommend.

Food is usually good. But as always in NZ, well overpriced. $25 for Pizza which is 5eur in Europe. Gnocchi are really bad. But anything else is good. Atmosphere is nice with very friendly service.

My fiancee and I have been served by a lovely French waitress. Wine selection was good and we enjoyed it, but my vegetarian gnocchi were flavourless and overcooked. My financee's calzone was filled with cheap tasting cheese and not much feta cheese. Overall check out experience felt tense. I would focus on pleasing the customers by providing flavourful good quality food.

We came for dinner Friday night, we had apperitivo, main and liqueurs. Food was excellent, staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful, a real Italian ambience. Went there for the second time now. This is THE Italian culinary experience you should not pass by. The ambience with all the unique knicknacks, the cramped space with small tables, the very friendly service, the food came in record time, the wine, everything was very Italien. I had a fantastic Chianti with the best Gnocchi I possibly ever had. My companion had the Quattro Stagioni Pizza, which was very authentic and tasty, but paled in contrast to the Gnocchi. Will definitely go there again, can't recommend it enough if you know the true Italian experience.

Called at 9:15pm to see if their kitchen would be open. They kept the restaurant open for us coming in by 9:45. Service was great and food was a pleasant surprise. I loved the Alfredo al fhungi (mushrooms) and the bolognese. Calzone was a little doughy for me but still nice flavour. We'd come back if ever in the area.

We were visiting Tauranga and had a craving for Italian food. We were surprised and delighted to find this place! They put us in a little two person table with a candle and the ambiance felt so nice and the decor made you feel like you're in Italy. Then the food came out- we got Spaghetti Bolognese and Lasagna and both were absolutely delicious! It tasted so fresh and homemade, really some of he best Italian food we've had in years. And we're from New York, so that's saying something.
