Had the most delicious 3 course meal here. Beautiful setting, reasonably priced, great service and fantastic food. The dinning area is absolutely stunning and worth a visit just to look upstairs! We will definitely be back.

The food was very good and the dining experience was 10/10 due to the fantastic service by our waiter, Barbara who is Italian. She is professional and understands your needs and conducts herself accordingly.

Went here for dinner on Wednesday. Food was amazing. We had the meat platter to start with and I would highly recommend. The wait staff were onto it and looked after us well. Great food, service and atmosphere. We will be back.

Nearly a 5. Four of us so a range of food selected. Food was nice enough that everyone offered to share. I consider it relatively expensive but in general the food met the price. Eating is upstairs so it can appear unpopular when viewed as empty from the street. Venison was overcooked for my tastes. Menu did not state whether gluten-free was available. Did omit part of the desert, which was rectified. Nice to get a complimentary drink for the birthday boys.

My partner and I had dinner at Volare tonight and it was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in Tauranga. We had the ravioli, chicken cacciatore pasta, seafood pasta and shared a tiramisu. Everything was well seasoned, cooked to perfection and fresh. The service was consistently great, the wine was delicious and even the music was good. Couldn’t fault the meal. It has been a long time since we have had a dining experience this good and we dine out regularly.

We have visited several times. Food consistently good, full of flavour, sauces are unique, gluten free options which taste as good as non gluten. Great service and atmosphere. We will be back

Been coming to Valare for several years now, atmosphere and food is delightful! Love how flexible the chef's strive to be offering off the menu options if desired. Mary the head hostess front of house is so welcoming and warm 😊

One of the best meals/experiences we have had in Tauranga! Wine was great, food was perfectly seasoned, everything we ordered was delicious. Service was amazing, consistent and proffesional.

Great dining experience! The food and deserts were delicious and our Italian waitress Barbara was awesome with helping us pick the wine and making sure that everything was alright throughout the evening. Really added to the Italian atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

This is our go to place.. we absolutely love everything about Volare. The food is absolutely devine, the cocktails are fantastic. If we want to treat ourselves, this is where we go. The staff are great, Mary makes the most amazing cocktails and makes you feel like you are part of the family. Luigi runs an amazing restaurant, the pasta is always fresh, the food absolutely perfect..the place to go to for us !

Great experience. Had the Pasta Nera, highly recommend. We were well looked after. Had the dessert with ice-cream and fruit soaked in rum (not for the fainthearted, seriously strong!). Will visit again.

We had an amazing night here. We walked in at 9pm hoping for a late dinner and were greeted so warmly by the owner and Mary. We headed upstairs to dine and the service was fantastic all evening. The food was great and nicely seasoned. The drinks were just as delicious and we may have enjoyed a few limoncello before leaving.

Lovely as always but please increase the size if the Agnolotti (pumpkin pasta) main. I ate it in 4 mouthfuls & was left wanting more. Otherwise everything was great 🙂

One of, if not, the best Italian pasta restaurants in NZ. Their risotto is simply phenomenal, their other pastas are sublime as well. The tiramisu and chocolate cake desserts are must-tries as well. Will definitely recommend 👍

Highly recommend this place. Had dinner there on Friday evening, we had a big table of 12 - what a great evening. Staff were friendly, food was delicious. So happy they’ve reopened. Will definitely be returning.

We only went here by chance and had drinks and dessert. Outstanding service - very helpful and accommodating and the dessert (recommended by the waitress) was DELICIOUS! We are definitely coming back when we are next in town. Love the ambiance and the authentic Italian music too - it makes such a difference.

The food here is very tasty, but a little expensive for what it is. The blue cheese gnocchi is amazingly rich, and worth a try if you like blue cheese. Otherwise, the eye fillet has never disappointed me. For dessert, either the chocolate or caramel fondentes are definitely the stars.

Celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary here 21 Feb. Lovely setting, fabulous food, awesome service, beautiful Italian wine. Our first visit based on recommendation from friends. We had a meal around the corner which was horrible. "Lets not have desert here" we said so went for a walk ended up at Volare. What a ripper, New owners who are really lovely, Suzy was our waitress and what a great girl she was, Funny, Pretty, efficent she is now one of the owners. Food was beautiful and the additive free coffee was SO smooth, even the round coffee table along with its own brushes was a great look. Why would we go elsewhere. this will be our favourate for years to come I Hope
