T.Most spectacular experience ever! I am a regular now (I have an addiction to this food!) because every meal has the best texture and taste I have ever experienced at a Thai restraunt. The new serving boy is great at his job, very friendly and easy to talk to. We got our food with no difficulty and I loved every minute of it. All the people who have left low reviews are all dumb people and their reviews make no sense and they contradict themeselves. The green curry is the best every, definatly recommend!!
N.The food is tasty and portions are generous, hence the three stars, but boy oh boy, the staff needs some help and the manager to be better organised; we got water 30 minutes after we arrived and our order was taken then, 1 hour later our food arrived after asking for it thrice, the restaurant was not that busy and all customers were waiting, it was really clear there was takeaway going out the door, so that was their priority and perhaps they need to focus on that.
I certainly will buy takeaway from them but not having dinner on site next time.
F.Visited on 26 December and ordered Pad Thai, Spices stirfry and Cashew Fried Rice- it was very tasty and we got excellent service from our waiter Ravi - he really looked after us. Highly recommend!
R.I don't often write reviews but I do when I feel it's worthy. One of the best thai restaurants I've been to. Friendly service and a nice relaxed atmosphere inside. Guri puffs were amazing. Satay sticks amazing. Red curry, yummmmmmm, just what we wanted. And I've had a lot of Pad Thai's in my time over a fair few countries, including Thailand, and this was one of the best I've had. Good job guys. We will be coming back here for sure.
P.Our first night in Te Anau and we were looking for some dinner after a long drive. We first saw the name "Thai Anau" and it made us chuckle, and since thai food seemed to be the one food type we could agree on, we walked in.
First positive thing was that the restaurant was half full. We were seated and our orders were taken within 10 minutes. Here is where things went a little awry. We first waited for 30 mins for our drinks, and were paitently waiting, until we noticed that a couple who came in after us received their drinks. I went to the bar and mentioned this to the staff, and here is where the waiter realised he had not handed over our drinks order to the bar. Another 10 mins and our drinks were delivered. Another 30 minutes and no food, and again - people who had come in after us had received theirs, so again noticing this I went to the bar. Another apology and 15 minutes later our food was delivered.
I ordered the Vegetables and chicken in Oyster sauce, and this was ok, but the serving was a little small, and while the flavour was strong and non offensive, it lacked a little bit of dimension.
My wife ordered the Lemon honey chicken, and again the serving was small, but the flavour was good.
Our other diner ordered the Green Thai Curry with Beef, and he really enjoyed the meal, again the same issue with the serving size.
We all had rice and agreed that the rice was pretty average, a little dry and somewhat clumpy and cold.
All of this could be explained away by the fact that apparently the town had an unexpected influx of people on this particular weekend, and was not expecting the amount of customers they had. Had better, had worse.

S.Excellent take away Thai! Super impressed by the beautiful presentation of the meal and the veggies through them. We got the spring rolls, cashew nut fried rice and stir fried noodles - veggie. Easy ordering online and picked up to eat at our hotel close by.

Surely it was included in the price of the food? If you order another bowl of rice that would cost you 5 dollars. If you see below two other Asians have complained about the portion of rice,we take rice seriously what can I say. More rice please and not for $5.

h.Nice food, we ordered beef red curry and chicken green curry, and green curry is creamier and a bit sweeter, which we loved it. We had take away in our motel, the waiting time can be a bit long as it was busy around 7pm when we ordered, roughly half an hour.
