A.Super filling and delicious kai. Went in for lunch and was easy enough to find a table for three. Make sure to check the lunch specials board as those dishes may not appear in the lunch menu. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich. Only downside is it took some time to get to the table, but the portion size made up for it. Great party function space and if you ever want to watch the big game on the big screen 🤙🏽

s.Recommended by my lovely friend Balkirat. William and I enjoyed a swell dinner and really loved our time here. The ambiance was exquisite and the wait staff was really warm and lovely. The food stood out as it was the highlight of my day. There's no way to describe it you just need to come here and try it yourself.

The banoffee was okay. The chocolate brownie was a bit of a letdown. I like mine a little fudgey. If you like your brownies the same texture as a cake you may enjoy it more. Good sized portions though.
N.Long Acre Restaurant - our family have been there twice in the last three weeks & each time we have enjoyed great food and great service. There was a good selection & variety of meals on the menu, service was fast with meals cooked to perfection. Free complimentary cheesecake with candle for the birthday boy. J.What an amazing meal, our first time out since lockdown, everything on our plates was on point, staff were friendly and welcoming. Well done 5 plus ⭐
T.While the service from our lovely waitress was exceptional, the food unfortunately did not match this. The fish in the fish and chip meal was very oily. It overrode the whole flavour of the meal. The banoffee pie was okay in flavour, however the grey looking bananas made this look less than appealing. If your food matched your service, you'd be top notch.

S.Had the lamb burger.... so yummy, lamb flavoursome just like off a lamb shank, included fries so crunchy as I love them and generous, was soooo filling, couldn't fit in desert... saw the deserts from another table being served, looked amazing will have to go back for dessert. A.My first experience of this place today was amazing. Being working in customer service for longtime I do look for an exceptional service. I was amazed by the girl how she interacted with us while we were waiting. Amazing place to hangout with family. I haven't tried much of the food items though the wedges were delicious

Friendly atmosphere and really friendly staff, very impressive during these uncertain times. Give yourselves a pat on the back.

R.This was a last minute choice for our huge group of 16. The quality of food was ok. The dining area was noisy because of the huge commercial fans they have got in their. Bar service was good. I really felt for the chef in the kitchen have to.pump.out so many meals and yeah because we were a big group the was a massive wait time but we weren't to fazed about. We had good.company and a.place were we could all.meet last minute for dinner so that dining experience had an even balance of negative and positive feedback.

They are always friendly and alterations to each plate is possible.
Having been more than a few times they have no trouble remembering standard drinks or preferences.
Like everywhere....if they are busy a little polite patience is handy.
They do however by and large have all the tables meals arriving at the same time...
And the food....it's good.
Try the parmesan chicken.

H.We were a group of 14 who arrived unexpectedly for Friday lunch. We were seated in a beautiful private dining area and really looked after. We ordered food to share (platters, pizza, garlic bread), kids meals and adult meals with drinks all of which was delicious and well presented. I even liked the old photographs of stock droving!

W.I totally loved the lamb shank and decided to come back again for the same meal. Staff are very professional and not body shaming rude like another expensive restaurant we went to on my birthday in August 2019 not far from this place where the waitness grabbed my spoon off the table and returned with a table spoon and gave my spoon to my mother as she was sharing her small dessert with her partner. My hubby and exhursted sleepy daughter didnt want any of mine. I was given 5 rolls of ice cream which I had no idea the dessert would be so huge for one. Waitness knew I was the only one eating dessert. I wished she had told me. I would have said 2 is enought so their isnt waste. Not like I'm going to travel home 3 scoops of cream in a to go box in a car. I didnt want or need 5 scoops. The food their was yummy but we had a rude waitness so I wont go back. This place the staff are quick to bring drinks and food, asked if everything was good and didnt hang around the table firting while we chatted which was nice. All the food seems to be in moderation sizes and 2 options for the lamb shanks, I choose one and felt very fill. Yes I will be returning here again with my family and friends.

S.Good food. Prefer to sit in the front part if this establishment where you can see the street.. The back part of the building us a bit boring but also quieter. Sadly the problem in Te Awamutu is that town council and allows milk tanker and cattle truck drivers to use the main street so it's very noisy which ruins the ambience of most restaurants on the main street.

L.Pokies were unfashionably giving on our last visit. The staff are always fantastic. Could use a fan in the smoking area to keep to air circulating but the Commercial Hotel is a must if you're in Te Awamutu!
