R.Had lunch here today on our way to Cromwell. The food was okay but the service was tentative and sub par. The thai fish cake tasted off. The roast beef, pasta and fish and chips were just fine and nothing to rave about. My main concern was with the service.

C.Celebrated a birthday dinner here. We were very surprised at the really affordable prices of the meals. Service was good. My children were accommodated with a colouring activity and seating to suit age as well which was great. Food was good but there is plenty of room for improvement.

L.I had a lovely meal with my partner last night. The place was quite busy so I couldn't understand why there was only one waitress serving so many ppl. She was very efficient, friendly and got our meals to us as fast as she could even though she was obviously run off her feet. The chicken and mushroom sauce was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely stop in next time I am passing through Timaru again.

A.The chef's special was very tasty and sharply priced. Food for other members in our party was also tasty and nicely presented. The wait-staff were attentive and professional. Although it is a cafe and bar, the food is restaurant quality and is very nice dining in a budget.

C.Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I visited at lunchtime and it wasnt overly crowded. I had the bbqs pork ribs which I enjoyed. The bbqs sauce was tasty bit some pieces of pork were a little on the chewy side. Would go there again.
