S.Staff were friendly and very accommodating, including finding us a seat without a booking and they were fully booked. Food was Devine and so filling. We had to roll home after the buffet. Will definitely go back again.
C.I posted previously about my displeasure at an incident where I had to pay more than I thought due to confusion over the menu and prices. After talking to the waitress and the manager over the phone, I was invited back to discuss the matter in person. The manager was lovely and apologetic and we were able to talk about the miscommunication. She explained her end and I told her where I was coming from and she was very accepting of what I had to say. I felt satisfied with the outcome and she even handed me a voucher which was a very nice gesture. I also just want to add that the waitress that served us was lovely and despite my wife and I's confusion at the end of the evening, her service and professionalism was great throughout. In the heat of the moment, I was frustrated at the incident and not the person. Koji is a very nice establishment and has amazing food and the staff are excellent. Even though I've had a hiccup, I look forward to eating there again. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Unfortunately had to ask for serving spoons 3 times and they did not have enough wine glasses for service and ones we received were all different sizes.
This looked quite unprofessional and cheap.

H.Beaut food and loads to eat. I'm sorry we ordered far too much and didn't intend to order so much and felt even worse finding out that we couldn't take the left overs (although I understand the reasons why not) however to not send the scapes or leftovers to stock feed or our amazing free range piggery was fully upsetting. All the food is simply binned and wasted by us yes and Koji also. The stars are souly for food quality for most of the food.
M.While they’re not perfect at dealing with kids (small plates need to be asked for), this place otherwise rocks. The food is utterly amazing, and it’s not necessary to go straight for the multi-choice “combos” - your own mixture of items from the menu is affordable.
S.We have dined at koji many times before but tonight's experience was very disappointing.. started by getting very cold service from our waitress..the menus had sticky dots of food on them..floors were upswept.. food was very average compared to usual..lacking presentation and flavour..we've always enjoyed our experiences here but tonight's was very disappointing..

I.Wow what a great place koji's is the food was absolutely amazing fresh and vibrant the server we had was informative about the choices of dishes on the menu and made excellent recommendations for us to choose. The food was authentically Japanese which was great, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who has not tried authentic Japanese cuisine before you will not be disappointed and as for price very affordable across the entire menu. I definitely will return to this amazing restaurant without a doubt.

I tasted 6 or 7 dishes and they were all very good, I look forward to taking my wife to the restaurant and be able to enjoy it all again

O.Koji is an awesome lunchtime or dinner destination. The food is quality Japanese cuisine. Currently Koji has a lunchtime buffet that will change your view on buffet food and an awesome night time Teppanyaki experience which is a show on top of just a meal. Timaru is lucky to have such an excellent Japanaese restaurant.
