Reviews of Street Food Kitchen
J.Went there with my partner as we were staying in Timaru for the night. Love the Asian fusion menu and the ambience in the restaurant. We ordered the beef cheek curry and salt and pepper squid, amazing flavours and reminds me of home. We finished off with the Thai fried bananas, absolutely enjoyed it. Crispy bananas with caramel and coconut ice-cream, perfect way to end the night.
M.Fantastic meal. Really enjoyed the pork bao and the deep fried banana. Great atmosphere and pleasant service. Fun sharing plates. Recommended
J.A great menu, lots of variety, and the food was full of flavour. Good sized portions and reasonably priced. Cocktail list is also worth a look. Quick and friendly service.
S.Street Food Kitchen is a little gem in the heart of downtown Timaru. Amazing Pork Bao Buns and the Beef Cheek Red Thai Curry is rich, sticky, spicy and fragrant. Plus some great craft beer on tap.
M.Fun atmosphere, yumi food but menu could do with a few more options that are not deep fried. The salad was tasty but swimming in the dressing

Menu offered exceptionally choice for single meals or if you wish a selection for 2 or more people. This consists of a 5 plate meal that is served of the night. Very filling for very little. Dessert is available.
Best seller I believe is the Bao Bun.
Very nice selection of various on tap and bottle beers and wines.

A.Forever evolving menu and a cool back alley vibe with the decor, frequently hosting jam nights is great for the local talent.
B.Love this place! Food is an awesome price and tastes even awesomer. Staff are super friendly and the beer selection is awesome!! I only come to Timaru once a month but this place will definitely be my go to.
