Very impressed with the staff. Very friendly, great teamwork, very helpful and clearly enjoy looking after the customers. Very clean premises however they had a issue with their extraction system as the entire restaurant was very smoke filled and not the greatest odour. Our food when it came, which was quick, was good and the best fries I have had for a while. The bathroom was very clean which was a nice surprise as this is usually my biggest complaint for this food chain. Big tick to this branch, showing up the rest of the country.

Have to say our Meal we just ordered at 11.30 pm tonight, has to be hands down best experience we've had lol Great customer service Burgers were unusually fresh and perfectly put together, not an over cooked cold chip i' sight but it was the ice in the drink that topped it off 😁 Maybe send the matamata crew there show them how it should be done 👍

We were driving back from Taupo to AKL and were starving so decided to eat here then continue on our trip, and their service was SO AMAZING!! Everyone was mad friendly especially this Maori/Islander? guy who was super nice! Everyone passing by who are in a rush should eat here :D

They're usually quite fast but sometimes their burgers and McCafe drinks are a hit and miss. For example, I can only drink so much caffeine because it triggers my migraines so I have to order a quarter strength Cappuccino. Sometimes it's not the right strength. If I have time, I will ask them to make it again. If I don't, I can't drink it and will give it to someone else.

Used the drive thru it was a steady flow of traffic was able to scan in while ordering, the service was great , pay waved and collected of our food with ease, enjoyed our family meal.

Amazing, first time in over twenty years ive seen a clean McDonalds Resturant. The pride shown in this store shows their commitment. The food was well cooked, and we enjoyed it. We have reduced our visits to these resturants, but we will go out of our way to pass thru Tokoroa just to enjoy what McDonalds was all about.

Busy place! As far as McDonald's go this one was clean and tidy given the amount of people there at the time. Bathroom facilities were spotless. Oh my gosh every time my young daughter and I travel to Wellington by bus we go to this store on our rest stop. And every time the food tastes fresh and tastier than the Hamilton stores? We rave about how nice the kai is here. On our first journey there was a little boy outside with his kid goat named Jerry... only in a small town!

Just dined-in while driving through from Auckland for the labour weekend. The food was perfect, my Bigmac actually looked like it does in the photos. My only problem is the drive through if you are asked to Waite the waiting area can be a little tricky to park in and there has been quite a few times where they don't get the order right and forget somthing so end up having to go back in saying that the staff are nice and friendly and the food is on point when we get it hahaha good work team

Got most of the meal we ordered correct witch is actually a positive for a McDonald's , good place to get a quick bite to eat on the way down south. Good place to get quick stop off food for the kids if you want to just keep driving but they are after some food. The area around the McDonald's has improved over the last year to quite a nice place to stop off to stretch the legs aswell. No longer looks like a hangout for gangs looking quite nice now

Easily one of the best McDonalds in NZ. The staff are super efficient, super courteous. The food is delicious. I took 40 students in unannounced and we had all been served our orders within 10 minutes!

Have been to many McDonald, and I can actually say that this is one of the better ones. The friendly staff, size, and good baristas. The only thing that would make it better, is if the car park was a little bigger. We have to park elsewhere at times, but it is a small town, so not far to walk down. :-)

The best McDonalds I've been in for some time. If you're travelling from or to Hawke's Bay/Auckland, it 's a good spot for a quick, tasty Macca's in a clean, well serviced McDonalds on the main route.

If you are looking for a McDonald's to compare the others to this is the one. You get all your food when you order at the drive through and the hash are cooked properly. Crisp not soggy. If McDonald's head quarters is reading this these guys are doing it better than anyone else in the Waikato. Whatever they are doing to train Thier staff in tokaroa please take it on board. A pretty good Maccers with quite friendly, happy staff who clearly enjoy a laugh. Visited there twice over a 2 month period. Service was quite fast and accurate both times I used the McCafe. Food tastes good, tea and coffee reasonably priced and sufficiently tasty. Restaurant was quite clean, as were the toilets. The staff on cleaning duties did a passable job but clearly resented the chore. A relaxed location with plenty of laughter to be heard among patrons and staff alike. Wi-Fi worked well. Location is quite convenient being right next to the main drag plus next to a built up shopping area.

They made the prettiest mocha I have ever seen, not just for a Mccafe either, it had an amazing fern design in chocolate sauce on it. I almost couldn't bring myself to drink it! I visited this McDonald's on a recent bus trip to Auckland. I found the restaurant over-all to be adequate, although was let down in a couple of areas. The restaurant has very limited space given its position, which is no fault of its own, however, I found that their setup, particularly with the ordering screens didn't make a lot of sense. The lines waiting to order on the automated systems were blocked by those people in the normal lines for the counters. The staff were also overall a bit sullen, which is disappointing having come to expect at least a smile from those that work for this chain. Possibly they were simply having a bad day. Cleanliness was good, with tables being cleared quickly, and the floors clear of debris even with a lot of foot traffic. If you're hungry for Maccas, I wouldn't avoid a stop to this branch.

Local to Tokoroa this is the one and only McDonald's that is close by, food is fine but service can be abit slow. Specially in the afternoons, there is always 2 cars in the drive through reserved and the que goes well past the drive through entrance. Wonder if anything can be done to improve. Overall food is what is expected from a McDonald's.

Best Mc Donald's I've ever been to!! Considering I've been to Mc Donald's all over NZ, Australia & even Bali I have never been even close to as impressed as I was there! The staff are not only friendly but are attentive they go above and beyond what you would expect at a high end restaurant, let alone a Mc Donald's! They were fantastic!! Also, as it was also my first visit to Tokoroa. The staff there are great ambassadors for any town! And THE BEST COFFEE I HAVE EVER HAD !! I wish I had paid as much attention to them so they could get the credit for it. The young lady serving in the Mc cafe section, the young man helping her and the beautiful lady who was cleaning at the time, that's lived in Tokoroa for years. You're all amazing people. We visited 3/3/17 approximately 9:30. Thank you all again for your awesome unmatched hospitality 😊If I could I'd give 6stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
