Got asked for my vaccine pass for the first time here . Was big and clean and the manager took it upon herself to be the vaccine guard at the door. Which I commend as none of these staff should be expected to become bouncers now. Food was fresh and crisp and the service was prompt and friendly

Good stop for a travel break when driving. Fuel up the car, use restrooms and get a bite to eat or ice cream before going onto the desert road going south. Be patient as queues can be long.

This is our "road trip stop" EVERYTIME we travel between Wellington and Coromandel. What can you say about Burger King? Great burgers, great frozen coke, seriously affordable, and conveniently located right next door to a petrol station.

The food was good and the service from the team was great, they were keeping up with the large customer flow as much as they could and were full of smiles and positive attitude. My heart went out to the team as they were obviously short staffed on a busy school holiday Saturday afternoon. The toilets also needed some attention.

Great to see staff had taken so much care with social distancing sanitization and entry and exits. NOT great to see stinking filthy toilets..needed a good clean of basins floors and walls Dyson dryer in disabled toilet so dirty I didn't want to put my hands in.I didn't go into the gents but could smell it from the corridor.come on Burger King!!

Lovely place, very clean and good service. Connected to a Z I think, so it's pretty great for fueling up and getting a bite. Also has nice bathrooms

Quite a wait with Covid. Not many workers but also only a few customers. Not sure what the holdup was.

First visit here for a long time. Previous visits included partially frozen meat patties and very careless, disrespectful staff a few years ago. Today we thought we'd give it another go and it was much better, food was fresh, hot and tasted good. Of our whole meal only one burger had a partial cold patty. The staff were much better and managed to cope with the lunch rush with polite respectable treatment of the customers.

Burger King is a fast food joint. The food wasn't fast. It takes about 12 weeks to raise a chicken for meat. It seemed to take about the same to get served chicken tenders. There were slightly more staff than customers but when it did come, the food was exactly what you'd expect: satisfactory.

Busy, but didn't have to wait too long for service or food. I cheaped out and got the rodeo burger, which I can't recommend (dry patty and bun, overcompensated for with a small flood of sauces). However, the chocolate chill - a BK go-to for me - was delicious as always.

King feels like a stretch maybe burger distant royalty. Food was pretty good though tried mixing the Sprite zero with vanilla. Wouldn't bother if I do that again I'll use real Sprite the artificial sweetener overwhelmed the vanilla. Place was a little slow but the chips were hot and that's all I really hope for in a fast food place.

Lots of dead insects in the back corner, must'vehad exterminators in? and due to an ordering issue/shipping issues the full menu was available, however what we did have was delicious, maybe suggest having another server to assist as the lovely guy on front counter was put under pressure by himself, but hard to predict through traffic so fully understandable as far as staffing levels.

Loo's weren't too bad. Think this place is the main loo stop for every man and his dog on this road. P.S. If you're thinking of going up route 32 to Tokoroa from here you have two choices - endure windy horrible road for the first half of the trip, but not much traffic and you save about twenty minutes. Second choice is up SH1. I took route 32 and regretted it. I'd rather travel in comfort and don't give a damn about the time factor.

I like burger king I just wish the burgers represented what they look like on the pictures but like many burger and takeaway places they hardly resemble what they are advertised to look like. Food was fresh and chips hot. Only thing I didn't like was too much sauce on the burger so kept dripping down the bottom very messy. I do like that you can fill your own drink and have as many refills as you want.

Food was mostly hot, a bit salty on the fries. Quick. Still have the rodeo burger on their menu compared to our local one. A decent deal for $12: BK chicken or whopper, bbq rodeo, regular fries, regular drink, and three chicken tenders or a sundae.

One of the workers here, Natasha, was so knowledgeable and lovely! She knew what would make the meals cheaper and offered it without prompt. She also aided in ordering (being vegetarian) a cheaper version of an egg McMuffin (usually have to order bacon and egg without the bacon which still makes you pay for the bacon). She also mentioned the vegetarian burger and was able to describe it with every ingredient. She honestly deserves a raise! and made what’s usually a frustrating last resort meal enjoyable and easy!

Asked for a double whopper without a bun and it arrived with a bun. But they were incredibly busy so understandable. The double whopper makes a great low carb burger because you can use the second pattie on top like a sandwich.

Burger King, mate, no one makes a mean onion ring with BBQ sauce quite like these champions. Smash a creamy mayo or gobble up a whopper, either way you get a decent feed for the cash moneys. Get in on those coupons bud and you're away laughing. Cheers team, you make the world a better place.

Always cold because they leave the doors open and there are some interesting folk coming in at night... which the police may be interested in. Food is as expected... service was very unhelpful... but I would blame the wages and environment. Good luck.

Last weekend, Sunday in fact we were travelling from Auckland back home to Wellington; whether the Desert Rd was going to be open was dodgy, in fact at the stage that we arrived at the Restaurant, the road was not open. We ordered our food, I wanted something a little extraordinary, the top of the range Angus Burger. Then Brent entered our lives, as it turned out, here was a young local guy, we assume, who cared about his job, and equally cared about his customers. My burger was going to take a little 5 or 6 minutes extra, it took a little more than that, upon enquiry, Brent apologised, and the virtually gave us a minute by minute progress report. The when the food arrives there were extra fries aboard, and Brent insisted that we should have a complimentary dessert. His care was extraordinary, and unexpected, my wife and I thank and congratulate this young man, and please if there is any such reward as employee of the month Brent is certainly deserving of it. Being someone who is involved in the service industry, congratulations to Brent and congratulations to Burger King Turangi, who performed via this young man magnificently under a day of extreme pressure.
