R.I bought steak,bacon and mushrooms pie and chicken apricot pie.
For me the steak one is a bit rich flavor and chicken is delicious
Shame I miss the seafood pie
J.Fresh food, chips made on demand. Sandwich’s was good. Pie was on the pricey side but well made with good flavours. Chicken and chips deal was good however chicken was a bit oily as it sat in the heater without being able to drip. Great selection of sweet savoury and pies.
B.We don’t normally eat pies but having arrived in Turangi at 7.30am in the morning on our motorbikes there wasn’t much else open! So we thought we would try our luck here. We weren’t disappointed. Honestly the BEST pie I have ever had - chicken, camembert and cranberry. My hubby had bacon, egg and cheese and that was pretty good too! The coffee was great and if I pass through Turangi again this place will be first on my list!
P.Huge sausage rolls! Didn’t feel like one but the mince savoury was legit. Partner got a pie and was not disappointed. Lovely service. Just what you need during a quick stop over!
M.The steak and cheese pie I had was extremely tasty and tender like a braised stew. The pastry was a bit overdone and the price of chips was a bit dear but all in all, pretty good.
M.Been meaning to try there pies for yes finally got there did not disappoint had a potato top pie fantastic pastry was amazing thin and tasty so fresh it was falling apart beats pataki pies hands down recommend to anyone

A.Great bakery, huge collection of bakery items to choose from and very cheap. Pies, sandwiches, desserts, coffee, fish & chips and fried chicken, they have everything here. Cheap combos as well as cabinet food. Service is super fast and staff is lovely. Only it's got a very small seating area, mostly runs on takeaway. Venison pie, smokes fish & salmon pies are speciality. Love the fried chicken & fries here very salty.
P.As an Aussie, I am ashamed.
The pies here are the best I've ever tasted anywhere ever.
I don't know what else Turangi has to offer someone living here but am considering moving nearby to eat more of their pies.
For reference, I had the beef steak and cheese and my buddy had chicken and cheese and was nearly as impressed

R.Affordable ($4-5) and delicious pies are offered here, although they're not super fresh. I ordered a large flat white, which was good, and two different pies, they're smaller than elsewhere thus the low price. Friendly service, the place could be cleaner and more well kept overall.

A.Bakery food is 10/10 and the only place that sells the Seafood and Kumara pie and the best seafood pie ever 🔥 If you think Im wrong then go in and try it and judge it for yourself. Took some back to Welly and family gave it 10/10

P.Some nice pies (no complaints there) but OMFG the horrendous prices are ridiculous.. $5.70 for any pie. Absolutely pathetic. I hope someone else opens another bakery and under cuts this place and steals every local and passing traveler.
A.Absolutely the best selection of pies and baking in the centre of the North Island. I discovered this place after turning in to Turangi for a look a few years back and I'm glad I did. Now, I never go past without stopping in. Delicious, tasty treats! Well worth stopping in for lunch.

Would like to recommend the pie and most importantly the Cream Donuts, one of the best Cream Donuts in New Zealand, the last time I had such a good Cream Donuts was back in about 18 years at South Mall Manurewa, every Friday morning on the way to high school Rosehill College Papakura.
