I prefer the fish & chips to not be too greesy. Unfortunately they were at this location. Staff were pleasant though

Best fish in Upper Hutt and nice chips too. They are pretty quick with the orders and in my experience phone ordering works well. The people who run it are polite and professional. The waiting area is average for a local takeaway but you'll be greated by a waving cat who calls out to all "Hello and welcome!" If your friends recognise the phrqse you'll be bound to share the same fish 'n' chip place.

We had our food crumbed not battered and it was bloody amazing The staff were really nice Oyster palace well I see why they called it that beautifully cooked and crumbed So were the scallops and mussels Chips were cooked perfect Would definitely come back

I moved to Australia in 2010 and still miss this place. The pork won tong soup is the best ever. Don't miss that cat thing when u opened the door that said 'welcome'
