Fresh! Delicious! Tasty! Healthy! Always delivers great beautiful cuisine! My favorite since 2009 when I first tried their meals. Still here always appreciate 🙏🏽 😌 Always come back. Tried EVERYTHING off the menu! My favorite pad thai M17 and roti with satay sauce! Come to dine in and celebrate family and friends birthdays. Something for everyone! Amazing polite staff, very happy 😊 and always giving their best qualities.

H.Our order was made wrong (asked for no mushrooms but a couple accidentally got in), we called up as I'm allergic so I unfortunately couldn't eat it even though it looked perfect! The order was remade and dropped to us by the guy on the phone, amazing service and such amazing food. Will definitely be going back
s.The best Tom yum I’ve had. Not bland, milky or overly sweet, perfectly spicy, savoury and sour, packed with aromatics. Amazing pad Thai too. 10/10
H.I had heard that the Traditional Thai Restaurant in Main St, Upper Hutt was the best Thai restaurant in the Hutt Valley and after our visit tonight I couldn't agree more. The food was delicious, the best thai food I have had in years. The service was prompt and friendly. We were made very welcome by the staff. The decor was vibrant, elegant and authentic. There was plenty of space and the restaurant was tidy and clean. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for high quality thai food.

The only reasons for not giving it 5 stars are:
They lost my table booking - made earlier that day.
The food was slow to arrive - nearly 40 mins for first course - yes it was a Saturday night but we arrived well before the rush.
The venue is very noisy, hard to have a conversation.
Hard to socially distance, our table was well within 1m of the one next door and lining up to pay was very crowded.
P.Love this place, 3rd time I've been and it's never failed to impress. 4 of us went and we all enjoyed our choices, very reasonably priced and so much food, only 1of us finished our meal - so now we have lunch today :)

L.Food was amazing, great variety. We were a large group and serving us quite a task. Might have been a good idea to have brought the long table further into room as people sitting down were next to a draughty door and were cold. Apart from that good night was had.

P.A brilliant dinner. Toilets could be a little nicer and seating was sturdy but wooden and no padding. Not ideal for the long seating and lovely food. Wait time was acceptable. Service was friendly.
R.Nice food, fair prices. Great that there is a BYO option, just $4 corkage per person drinking. The curries were excellent. Unfortunately they got the spice levels wrong on my dish, I'd asked for hot and it was mild at best, but flavour was great. The other dishes were as requested and the steamed fish with coconut and ginger was sublime, wish I'd ordered that. We got the angel wings as a starter as I'd never had them before, they were certainly different. Deboned chicken wing stuffed with angel hair pasta and spiced vegetables, all battered and deep fried. Might not order them again, but they were pretty good. And sometimes you've got to try new things.

R.I always have a lovely meal here. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. I love the green curry and the Gang Ped. I always order duck and it's always a generous serving, the curry's are very warming and filling. I can't remember having better Thai anywhere else, this is definately the best Thai in Upper Hutt. I highly recommend them!
I.Pretty solid pad Thai. Beware, they add prawns to the pad Thai by default which is not my vibe but I imagine I am in the minority. Can definitely endorse this place as a quality food eatery.

L.Last weekend I went to Traditional Thai
I had emailed them earlier that week and asked what stuff on their menu was GF and vegan. The chef emailed back saying what was, and said no entrees are but let him know when I arrive and he will whip up a vegan entree if I want. I didn't bother as I didn't want to be 'difficult'
Everyone else orders entrees, and then the chef made me 2 vegan GF skewers specially, as he must have clicked when he seen my GF vegan main.
All my food was delicious, great price and BYO. Couldn't rate this place more highly.

S.Come here quiet often, very friendly staff, very helpful and will go out of their way. Some dishes are good, but unfortunately there is no consistency in taste and flavor. The cooks seem to change or don't have a set recipe to follow.. New Plymouth branch of this restaurant is worth a 5 🌟.
D.This restaurant has been going in Upper Hutt for years. The restaurant is dated but cosy.. The food looks, smells and tastes good. The service is friendly and quick. They do takeaways and the menu is plentiful.. heaps to choose from and reasonably priced. No prizes for guessing why they have stayed in business for so long

A.Good food, but the menu is very confusing with way too many choices that seem to vary little. Hard to pick something unless you know your Thai food by name. Staff doesn't speak English very well so they weren't of much help picking a dish either. But all in all a good Thai restaurant with nice atmosphere.
