P.I loved the food and the setting. The service was a bit average, but only because the staff member was young so it’s not so much her fault, just inexperience. I could also see the chef swearing at her and he looked really mad. That was a bit cringe to be honest. I just notice a lot, I don’t think all the customers would notice that. I took a star off because of these two things but was so impressed with the quality of the meal and I could tell the chef cared a lot about his product. That’s also why he was mad, because the staff member was not delivering good service to his standard. I will be back. The vege burgers were insane!!

P.Love this quirky garden cafe. Highly recommended as a tourist stop-in. This shady spot is on the cycle trail so perfect for a rest and refuel. As one of the locals we are always welcomed along with our horses and bikes too.
M.A beautiful surprise was waiting for us, once we found the entrance to the restaurant. The French chef obviously loves his profession. We had salmon, chicken and duck dishes, and all three were excellent. Lovely ambiance, and very friendly service. Highly recommend.

K.A quirky cafe on the Moutere Highway just out of Motueka. A peaceful place with a selection of indoor or outdoor seating. An interesting menu along with cabinet food. Well worth a visit.
R.This is a really nice old building with lots of character, and is in a great setting with a garden area and alot of trees/shade etc.
The hosts are a friendly French-Kiwi couple, and the food is really good. I tried the Croque Monseur (ham,cheese,bechamel toastie) and a few sweet slices. They were super tasty and authentic, and reminded me of being in France. Highly recommended.
