Why did I visit this restaurant only now! This is absolutely go to place for me. Loved the salmon pizza with wheat beer, cozy place!

AMAZING food and service. Our accommodation managed to secure us a booking but we were warned they were running on 30% staffing due to "these times". The team that were on shift were FANTASTIC, attentive & pleasant. Drink service was speedier than most restaurants than run on a full team. Food was delicious - calamari, beef carpaccio, braised beef & duck. Definitely recommend and would return again and again ourselves.

Thank you, Fenice Cafe & Restaurant! Located in Oneroa on Waiheke Island, this hidden little restaurant is waiting for you. Excellent services, yummy cocktails & amazing food, rapped up in a coz dinette. I had mushroom ravioli & flatbread with a rich shiraz red wine, & finished with a ice cold zesty cocktail from the bar! This was truely a devine experience. Five Stars...

Now I have to be honest, at first glimpse from the outside you wouldn't expect to have the most amazing pizza you will experience. I have only tried one so far but I instantly fell in love. The flavors were a perfect match, the base had a delicate balance between crispy and soft. The cheese had a perfect "pizza pull" and wasn't over powering. The toppings were exactly what you would want when it came to the pizza. The meat was a great salty addition and the spinach wasn't bitter. Then the base sauce just pulled it all together and didn't destroy any flavors.
Im talking about The Prosciutto pizza. Absolute perfection in a pizza.
I will return.

I would rate this 5 stars, due to the excellent service, comforting atmosphere & fantastic food… but one of the waitresses (not the one we had dealt with earlier) pressured us to provide a tip when we went to pay the bill. It would be different if we were overseas and it’s normal to provide tips, but I thought it was actually quite rude for her to assume and ask us to “give” what we thought was necessary. Keep in mind this place isn’t cheap (although worth every dollar) but the approach that we received at the end by this woman made us feel annoyed & uncomfortable.

A quaint little spot. It was quite crowded inside and we were sat on the other side of a glass window directly across from another couple which was kind of awkward. We saw the alley booths on the way out and wish we had a spot there.
Food was okay. I had the mushroom ravioli was good at first but very overpowering flavours and got sick of it fast. Husbands duck was good but again a lot of canellini beans which again got tired of the taste before finishing. Both quite expensive for what they were.
Pizza looked and smelt amazing and wish I had stuck to that.
Service was good and drinks were great!
A.
One of the best Italian places in Waiheke. Absolutely amazing food and people.

Nothing beats a getaway at Waihiki, except topping your getaway at Waihiki eating at Fenice.
For many years, I for some reason, never made it here. Although I have said I'd go there someday. That someday came, and I shall return many more times.
Greatest pizza in and near the Auckland area. I've been to all the "good" pizza places, nothing came close.
Staff are very authentic, friendly, nice and not overwhelming, with just the right kind of attentiveness.
Thank you form a happy little family, that had a very happy new years eve lunch.

Always love breakfast at Fenice , great food , great service and great relaxing location.

A lovely little cafe with a great breakfast/brunch menu and service of an equal standard; the staff are coping well and unobtrusively with the ever burdensome Omnicron regulations.
