We chose The Middle because we heard the pizzas were awesome, but once here my husband was swayed by the Malaysian Beef Curry which by far has to be the tastiest curry I have had in the Auckland area! I had the Trigg Pizza which was really tasty and light and a good kids menu Too. Great wine list. Definitely recommend, funky setting with very friendly staff.

Delicious pizza and tasty curry all under one roof - what more could you ask for. High recommend, especially for families.

We ordered a takeaway pizza and wedges. Both were really good and we were happy with our choice. Staff were lovely too as we sat and had a beer while we waited for our order. Would like to try the curry next time for sure!

Had Lamb Shank, Loaded Wedges, Chicken Curry and Beef Burger. All were superb, albeit the beef burger a bit too spicy. Can’t say the drinks were great - tuatara beer was terrible and was expecting that the lemon lime and bitters would be made in the bar rather than out of a bottle. Decor was brilliant though.

Had an excellent dinner with friends here. The service was wonderful and very friendly. The curry and pizzas were delicious and would highly recommend either.

A group of us enjoyed a meal here tonight for dinner and we were so pleased we chose The Middle to go to. I had the small ribs and it was so delicious and filling. The team were friendly and had great service and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

This place is truly a gem. Service was excellent, atmosphere was really cute, and happy hour prices were super reasonable. But the best part was the pizza. Truly the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. Wish we were locals--we'd be there constantly!

My favourite restaurant on Waiheke. The food is great, the prices better than average and the staff are very friendly. They offer a range of pizza, but offer other delicious dishes also. My favourite is the roast lamb shank. Awesome!

Delicious pizza, I recommend the seafood pizza, (that's if you like seafood) If you're more of a meaty type of person, buy the meat lovers. The cheese is nice and sticky. If you don't feel like pizza, there is a large range of beautiful curry's. The setting of the restruant is beautiful, the inside has a homely rustic feel, whilst the outside garden feels like your walking into a magical garden.

Nice Service but hit and miss on the food. Loaded nachos too start were terrible very sad looking beef cut up into pieces not pulled and just a boring dish, but spicy chicken wings were good. Burger main was good with a huge amount of fries. Beef curry was nice unto about half way through but then found it a little polarising as the sauce was so strong.

We stayed at Cable Bay views on 19th June and ordered from here. The chicken wings were soo good and goat curry was the best ever had. The delivery was there so quick great service.

Good value and nice food. We had a few pizzas and a few Curry's takeaway. would recommend trying if your looking for some good takeout options in surfdale

My friends and I had a lovely experience at The Middle. The food was delicious and great value for money, I particularly enjoyed the smashed potatoes and my friends loved the ribs! Stellar service despite being short staffed, I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in Waiheke!

Delicious curry!! Amazing spot for outdoor dining

Lovely night out with our mates at The Middle this week. Super friendly staff and happy to accomodate a wide range of meal preferences (we had 2 vegetarians, one gluten free and two meat eaters)! Food was tasty, delivered quickly and super tasty. Thumbs up from us.

Two of us specially wanted Lamb Shanks, they didn't have them due to the failure of the cooking vessel. I had the the hamburger, the sauce in it was far too hot. The other people in our party enjoyed their meals. I ordered L&P to go in my drink. But they didn't have any.

Got 4 different pizzas here and couldnt fault any of them. Service was friendly and inviting. Tried the pizza at another high rated pizza joint on the island where the service was just as good but Stefanos was hands down the winner by a mile in the taste and quality department.

Popped in today with the family for lunch and our experience could not have been better. The pizzas' are fantastic (Italian style: thin and crispy base) and the service was outstanding. We took advantage of their "kids dine free" offer and couldn't recommend Stefano's any higher, especially to families. Will definitely call in again.

Closer to the top than the middle.. The steak was absolutely fantastic, well priced, would be $40+ in Wellington. The Middle pizza was also beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Pizza and Indian curries sum up the menu. The curries are excellent and can be quite spicy. Skip the garlic bread as it’s not very good and go with the garlic naan! Pizzas are excellent and the crust is very thin, chicken, bacon, avocado pizza was very tasty. The calamari was just ok. The dining area is nice and on warm evenings the garden is quite enjoyable except the chairs can be a bit uncomfortable depending on what table you get.

Hadn't been for a while as I'd heard a few adverse reports. But very pleased I went, excellent wild goat curry and lovely service. The people I was with also enjoyed their selections. Nothing flash just good honest food well prepared, cooked and presented at sensible prices.

My fiancee and I went here before catching a ferry back to Auckland. They were running a $5 happy hour special on tap beers, which was awesome! We opted for a feta pizza and we're completely blown away. The crust was thin, crispy, and delicious. The combination of flavors from the cheeses and toppings made each bite incredible. Stefanos was one of the food highlights of our trip to New Zealand and stands out as one of my favorite pizzas of all time. If you're in the area, give them a try!!

Food was good but what made this a 4 star review was how welcoming and pogchamp the staff at the restaurant was, mainly the waiter that served our table the other day. Recommend to those looking for a solid meal at Waiheke

We bought 2 takeaway pizzas from Stefanos. Pizza bases are super thin ( I suspect they are roti that have been rolled out to resemble a pizza) and very crispy. Really nice toppings too. Would recommend the pizza to anyone. I think this restaurant has more of an Indian restaurant menu now, so maybe go there for curry too. ☺

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious pizza, the GF bases are sooo good - the taste difference is minimal between the normal and GF. Prices are a bit on the dear side but well worth the atmosphere in the dining area.

Nice pizza/Italian restaurant. Food is very tasty, and the menu has more than just pizza. Pizzas are big enough to share with a salad and maybe a bread to start (the cheese garlic bread is great). It is BYO which is a plus if you have brought some wine at the local vineyards.

Super friendly service and super nice food. Burger was a bit spicy but ultra tasty, still enjoyed it a lot. Has a nice atmosphere and decent prices. Nice dinner spot.

The food at this restaurant is really goid. They don't just do good puzza here - the halloumi and lentil kofta s one of the best curries I have ever had and the homenadeb desserts, bonofee pie and chocolate cake were anazing. The chef really knows what he is doing. Lovely family run restaurant, all staff very friendly. You must get down there if you haven't already!

Some of the best pizzas, great value (with huge portions) fresh food and amazing service from Waiheke locals. A 10/10 must visit.

My family love to eat out at Stefanos. My son says they have the best pizzas in the world - and he's just spent 6 years in Europe. Personally I really enjoy the ambiance at Stefanos, confident that we'll always have a great time, eating, drinking and being merry. I happily recommend Stefanos to all my friends.

Fantastic chilled atmosphere, lovely staff and delicious pizza, GF base and plain thin bases were perfect, highly reccomend the chicken brie and cranberry pizza, the chicken was spicey👌🏻

Awsome place to have dinner. We had the chicken fetticine and a chicken tikka pizza. Food was delicious. Wait staff were polite and made sure we were ok. Food was quick to come out. :)
