Great spot for takeaways after a day at the beach. They have everything from pizza to burgers, fried chicken and hot dogs. Good to eat in or takeaway. They make really good milkshakes and thick shakes. They have two really cool retro gaming machines in there too, one is pinball.

Excellent cheeseburger! Generous portion of good quality beef with a bun that's big enough to hold the toppings and not get soggy. Definitely in my "top 3" for burgers in that part of the world.

When we turned up with a very large order the team sprang into action. Despite the Wade and varied options that we chose the team did a fantastic job to get everything sorted. There was a bit of a delay but with an order for 14 people we understood. The service was outstanding as we were recommend to change some original choices to ensure that we got the best value for money. The quality of food was great, the burgers were much bigger than we thought. Be mindful that if you wish a "Jumbo" burger you will need to notify them a day or two in advance as they need to prepare and make the buns onsite. Overall a great experience that left us happy to return on our next trip to Waihi.

We came here on 5 January, so a very busy time & ordered burgers & chips. Staff were friendly & service was great. Although we waited maybe 1/2 hour, it was definitely worth it. I have to say the Hawaiian burger was probably the best takeaway burger I've ever had. Buns were fresh & big, meat patty was thick & juicy, it tasted amazing. Chips were cooked perfectly & nicely salted. I would recommend coming here. Will try the pizzas next time. Thanks Angelos Pizza, you rock!

The best in all it does. The best nachos I have ever had - and they are big as well. They also do great chips (better than fish and chip shops) and great pizzas as well. The wait time can be long however so be sure to ask before you place the order. But if you can afford to wait, It is worth it.

The service at angelo’s Was some what decent and the people behind the counter seemed nice. Not gonna lie whilst I was reading the reviews it made me feel sceptical as many people had completely different opinions. But over all after eating the food it was worth it, Inside there was also a pin ball machine and ice cream which was good for a quick treat. 🙃

Ordered 4 burgers at 8.15pm and retrieved them at 9.50pm. Horrendous wait time, especially for two young children after swimming all day. Food was beautiful! Definitely worth an hour wait but not 2 hours

Great fried chicken and a lot of meat and toppings on pizza. They were a bit overwhelmed with the amount of people ordering when we went as only 2 places were open on long weekend.

Quite a long wait for 2 pizzas and chips. Expensive for small pizza's - bases were store brought and over cooked. Alot of toppings but not really much flavour. Fries were nice. Will not come back.

Well my wife is gluten intolerant and she got the gluten free pizza base and she said it was the best pizza she had ever had and tbe lady behind tbe counter went out of her way to be helpful and the pinball machines they had I played while waiting took me. Back to my child hood where pretty cool .
