Its a country town RSA - what more can we say Meals are ok and a reasonable range on the menu which should suit most tastes - pricing on a par with most RSA's. I keep going back so can't be too bad

Was recommended buy friends . Could not fault the meal it was lovely. Great variety and very friendly staff Just a shame about the bar staff . We were visitors from the South Island and because we were not members were told no drinks would be served. A member at the bar said he would sign us in but she said no..There were five of us and were not in given the option to join.

The chefs are well trained and talented at what they do. The food is also pretty good although the food is good sometimes it just doesent match the price you pay for the meal. But other than that it's a good restaurant and bar with friendly staff.

Good food, well presented and reasonably priced. Restaurant can get a little noisy some nights if the bar area is busy but this is a small inconvenience that is well and truly offset by the quality of the meals.

Very relaxed place to eat and very reasonably priced. Great entertainment when available. The staff are amazing except for "Paul" the barman. He is always rude whenever myself, friends or my family come in for Deans amazing meals. Management need to look at the customer service from Paul and start to realise he isn't cut out for great customer service. Which let's the team down. Get him to clean up his act or give him some intense training in customer service!!! (Or get rid of him) Come on management sort it out!

I had the misfortune to be served by 'Paul'. My question is....Why on earth is he in a position of Customer Service?? "Home away from home" and "always be sure of a warm welcome" is stated on the website. No smiling during the entire interaction and carrying out his duties i.e. taking orders and serving drinks seemed to be more of an inconvenience to him! 😠 Our family was out to enjoy a special occasion but his behaviour is unacceptable at this time-honoured establishment. However in complete contrast, the restaurant staff were outstanding. Mr Goldsworthy (Chef), Kelly, and the other lovely ladies happily demonstrate how patrons should be treated....with respect while providing friendly and efficient service.
