C. S. (.So yummie, ordered and paid over the phone and got our food delivered for free (when you spend over $30), was ready so fast too. Natasha was so lovely to talk to :)
L. G.The staff are all friendly and very helpful. However, I ordered a beef wellington and was expecting the usual - however what I got was roast beef and mushroom in a pastry pocket. Now it was still delicious but it wasn't a beef wellington in terms of the cut of meat and the preparation. The other people I went with ordered the lamb pasta and the steak which were pretty tasty. I felt a bit mislead by the beef wellinton menu item.
k. r.Got the camembert and Roast beef as takeaway. Both were great, camembert even came with garlic bread and salad. The young guy on the phone was a bit confused over times but very friendly and helpful as was the staff member when I picked it up.
Size of meal to price was great. Will be back and for dine in next time.

Beef Wellington, pork belly, ribs, sticky date pudding and few other dishes (those most recent that I can recommend all these).

Deb the owner always makes us feel welcome.
We had Chicken Parmigiana, Grilled Snapper and Pork Porchetta, all top notch.
The service was friendly and efficient.
We asked if they would make a Carrot cake as his birthday cake and it is amazing.
We highly recommend The Shires.

B. B.Very good food, not too long to wait. My chicken dish was superb, although at $26 I would have liked more vegetables. The dish was excellent, chicken was moist and tender. My desert of tiramisu was excellent, light, fluffy, well presented. Overall a very nice experience. Be aware that this place is on the more expensive side, but you get excellent quality.

J. G.On the 16th July my husband & I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary, however he is currently in a private hospital in Waiuku. I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to get a nice dinner for us to celebrate this special occasion. The team at The Shires not only cooked a delicious meal but also delivered it to the hospital. This helped make our evening very special. I will be recommending them to our friends and family.

E. E.Online order and free delivery which is awesome however the food was awful. We ordered fish and chips, kids meal and a few deserts. The only thing that was decent in the entire order was the hot chips, everything else was terrible.
