P.Took a quick dinner here and sit by the lake. Amazing, Super fresh fish, good portions, great menu options and friendly service! On peak time it's crowded. Also love the sweet potatoes wedges. Price tag of items are nominal. Totally recommended If you guys looking for fish and chips.
k.Some of the best Fish n Chips I’ve had in New Zealand! Great service and the sauce options are legendary!!! (Honey mustard and saffron mayo/ Wasabi mayo/ Vegan Aioli/ Chilli Jam...). Grab it to go and sit in front of the lake... Perfect.
J.These guys are smashing it with some of the best quality kiwi Fish & Chips I've had! The salmon was delicious, but be wary it is a little on the small side. However my absolute favourite is definitely the Blue Cod! This is a top quality fish and some of the best fish NZ has to offer.
E.We only tried the fried blue cod which was AMAZING! We loved the help yourself sauces (tartar, aioli, and chilli jam!). We're so glad we gave The Catch a go as we couldn't find reviews online - because we've since found out they just opened a week ago. Great job team, keep up the quality! :)

D.Best fish and chips in Wanaka! Best value for money, great taste. The fish was huge and there was chunky fish inside the batter. No sign of hoki here. The cheap fish was good fish and not cooked to death.
Burgers were amazing. Couldn't get my mouth around it. So tasty. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the meat pattie in the burger was battered - not my preference.
Don't go anywhere else. Great food, fast and friendly service
E.Catch of the day battered fish was delicious but the chips seemed to be frozen crinkle cut wholesale rather than made on site. Also, the vinegar is 50c for a small pot - we were asked if we wanted any sauce before we paid and I said ‘no, just salt and vinegar’, the lady said ‘no ketchup or anything?’ I said no, we paid. Then when it came to getting our fish and chips my husband asked for vinegar and was asked to pay for it... didn’t go down well with a hungry English man 🤦🏼♀️ but as I say, the fish was tasty...

B.Such an amazing menu - they’ve taken fish and chips to the next level! I had some of the salmon loaded fries and the ratio of topping to fries was perfect! The blue cod was so fresh and absolutely delicious (highly recommend). Plenty of veggie/vegan options too. Definitely pop in if you’re down the waterfront - you won’t be disappointed!

I.Very tasty blue cod fish n chips. Quick and easy service. We enjoyed the variety of salts you can apply to the chips and the self serve sauces. Inhaled it on a bench overlooking Wanaka Lake. Would recommend.
D.I had the most amazing salmon loaded fries and best blue cod from The Catch yesterday, this will definitely be a new must visit when Im back in Wanaka. The service was surprisingly quick too for a large group of us. Overall very impressed!
