H.Visited over the weekend and had dinner and drinks with a group of girlfriends. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening! The servers were great, and the food was super tasty. After a day out in the city, Bin44 had the best cocktails we’d had all day. Definitely worth a visit. It’s in such a lovely spot too by the water!
J.Good waterfront location. We sat outside and had brunch in the sunshine. We both had the big breakfast which was delicious and very fulling! I would highly recommend trying there housemate lemonades. Staff were quick and friendly. We will definitely be back to visit again

Food quality is above average. The Angus steak my wife ordered was amazing. But the market fish I ordered was just average. May be I should try different dishes again next time
P.I realise that it must be hard time for restaurants and bars right now, but we had the best night at Bin 44 for several reasons. The Irish manager on the night not only made sure we had our vaccination passes ( in fact he checked twice, as we went outside to vape for a bit) But he did it in a really warm and respectful manner. He also made sure we had great service and the best experience. We felt safe, welcome, and loved our evening out. We dine out a lot, and our night at Bin 44 has to be our highlight. The manager (Irish. Sorry don’t remember name) was brilliant, funny, professional and took the vaccination pass checking seriously. There have been occasions at other restaurants that I’ve had to actually go and ASK someone to check my passport. So this guy was the best!! Thank you for a wonderful evening and we’ll definitely be back!
O.It is alittle upsetting to see that there are a group of "fake Reviews" being left, I don't know where the people who recently left 1 star reviews spent NYE but it cant have been the same place we were! The staff were amazing, including the "Irish manager" they have singled out.... how a patron even finds out about how many years in the industry the manager has if they are hating their meal is beyond me, not to mention the fact that one review said 25 mins for a drink....and another said 1 hour.
I feel like perhaps this table was out to cause trouble from the start and refused to factor in how busy a waterfront bar could be on New Years eve.
We have never had bad service there, and have even had our vaccine passes checked when we have asked to pop in and go to the loo.
Fully reccommend, and will be back soon!!

T.Following our girls afternoon outing to WOW, my sister treated us to a four course degustation dinner with beer or wine pairings at Bin44 Restaurant & Bar just across from TSB Bank Arena. The restaurant was lovely as was the staff and service was excellent.
We started off with smoked fish croquettes on harissa Mayo with a glass of Pinot gris. This was followed by a warmed Thai chicken salad with a glass of dry Riesling, and then the main of beef cheek with potato gratin with sweet onion jam and pumpkin turnip mash and mushroom gravy served with a glass of Syrah followed. And finally, for the dessert, a biramisu with mango purée and charcoal sorbet with preserved peach was served with a glass of Prosecco.
Our courses were delicious with the dessert being the clear standout. Our dining experience and ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. Highly recommended!
P.Ordered the steak at $35. It was a little chewy. When you arrive at a restruant, please ensure you welcome the quests as valued patrons with smiles and positive attitude straight away, we waited for about 5mins, if we had not booked we would have left. I expected better. Wife thought her fish meal was good. She might me back, but I will not.
A.Good food, very slow kitchen. We were there on boxing day and we were told after waiting 40 minutes for a soup and a burger that there was a 45min wait on food. Fair enough on a holiday, but it would have been nice to know before we had ordered and paid. Corn chowder tasted fresh and creamy, turkey burger was juicy and delicious.
P.A great place for a relaxing brunch at a reasonable price. Staff are welcoming and look after you and food was scrumptious.
A.Good times. Great big huge beer list. The sourest sour beer. The sunniest sunshine. Go along between 12 and 4ish on a sunny day. Bask outside and enjoy some refreshments by the seaside. Great pizza too.
M.Good location and food but service was rather clueless and slow. It could be due to public holiday but we waited for 45+ minutes for our food. I say, it is still worth coming here, but don't come when you are starving!
B.The venue is located right on the waterfront. Good all round views of the harbour and ocean. The food and drinks wasn't anything different or special and expensive.

E.Bin44 came highly recommended and looked more upmarket compared to the other bars and casual dining around the stadium. Half appears to be a sports bar with the other half more stylish restaurant. We went for weekend lunch, it wasn’t busy to start with but filled up. I ordered the soy beef and prawn salad, I recommend they stick with just the beef as the ‘prawn’ consisted of very small shrimp on a skewer as an afterthought and negatively impacted on the dish. We also tried the pan fried fish and mash potatoes, which was delicious. Service was a tad brusque. there is a lot of competition around the wharf area and Bin44 probably good for another visit.

S.Beautiful view on the wharf, and the menu was fantastic. We only stayed for a short while but the food we ordered was out rather quickly and tasted fabulous.
The staff were warm and friendly, even when rushed off their feet. Huge outdoor seating area which meant we could enjoy ourselves without eavesdropping on other conversations. Thank you for an enjoyable time, must come back to enjoy the bar experience.

J.Came here after Gindulence festival yesterday and got the 1 metre meat board. It was delicious. Every meat on the board was cooked perfectly. Brisket, boerewars, duck ham, steak and ribs. Thick chips with aioli and the slaw was sweet, crunchy and acidic. The bread wonderfully crusty yet soft inside. Flat bread to make tacos too. A good range of sauces and pickles. There were 4 of us and there was still some leftovers to takeaway.
I will be back again for it. Also comes in half size and I saw a few people tackling that too.

A.Food good but service left a lot to be desired. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and both times I’ve been disappointed with the service. The drinks menu didn’t have any ciders listed so when I enquired what ciders they had the barman was extremely rude and said there all up on the board, I’m sick of having to repeat it 100 times a day! I understand that, however the board had 20 things on and was hard to read! Had to ask 3 times for water for the table, the waitress forgot to come back to take our order. Had to wait for over an hour for a burger. So to sum it up, if your after good service and in a hurry I would give Bin44 a miss and go elsewhere.

J.The food was very good. The pizza we had ( Pollo) was surprising very nice. The main course's were also excellent. Ambience and atmosphere was very nice as well. The Cheesecake was very tasty and flavourful. The poached pears were a bit too hard for our liking.

A.Absolutely great bar with a lovely choice of drinks, it's also one of the few places in Wellington that stocks a Mandarin/Ginger cider which is absolutely gorgeous.
Food can be a teeny bit pricey but definitely delicious!
The staff are very friendly and there's plenty of seating outside and in, a great place to come on a sunny day!

H.Delicious food and amazing service! My boyfriend has a severe nut allergy and when we let the waitress know this (wish I could remember her name!) she went and spoke with the chefs. They were so incredibly lovely as to make up a new sauce for our meal to make sure that it wasn't contaminated with traces from other dishes. We had never requested this at all but for them to do so was so thoughtful and shows how much they truly care about their customers. It really went a long way and we will definitely be back.

M.This bar has always had great vibe and beer selection, and in the last few years they have really upped their food game. I ate a chickpea pie here last week and it was INCREDIBLE. Potentially the best pie I've eaten...ever? 10/10 would recommend.

Asked the waiter for a recommendation on the beer and he picked out a lovely unpasteurised pale ale - something I wouln't normally go for but I'm very glad I did! He was lovely British chap with curly hair called Jack and was so attentive and friendly with us. All the other staff were so smily and friendly as well giving the place such a nice vibe.
Fish & chips were really nicely cooked and very fairly priced.
What a little diamond of a place, cannot recommend it enough!

D.I chose this place because of the music, some jazz and blues. I ordered the crab cake appetizer and salmon for a main. They were both excellent. The vegetables on the side were fresh with a light tomato sauce that I really enjoyed. I cannot remember what the able desert wanted named but it did not dissapooint. The service was the best I have had in my short stay in Wellington. Great atmosphere as well.
T.First time at Bin44 and what a wonderful experience - Great Customer Service from the minute we walked up to the door. Was an extremely business evening with WOW attendees on the Wharf etc and everyone like ourselves trying to get a meal. It was no problem and we were seated to the Community Table which was really a great idea and we meet other WOW goers and even managed to swap business cards etc and some really great moments.
Food was the set two course meal to get us thru for getting over to WOW it was lovely we all had something different from the Menu and the table service was excellent - top class to be honest. And then we thanked the staff for their service and they said come back after the Show and have the dessert and cocktails - and guess what we did because it was really great service and we stayed for another hour or too. And will be back as they say in the movies.

B.The good beer gives this place 2 stars alone. However, the food and service can be mixed. We recently ordered food here before a show at TSB arena which is close by, we were advised food was likely to be served about 30 mins after ordering. We ended up waiting 1hr 15mins and had to scoff our meal in about 5mins to avoid missing the start of the show. Not impressed. The food itself was mixed, steak was good, sliders were average.

M.It's been a stable venue of my time in Wellington for as long as I can remember. This incarnation is a good one, excellent beer choice, friendly staff and really good food. Enjoy the summer Sears outside if you can get one :)
P.We have just very much enjoyed the WOW set menu delivered by very friendly, helpful and capable staff. Two courses, wine and a well deserved tip for NZ$120 felt like good value.

D.We came across this restaurant looking for something to end a conference. Bin44 delivered in droves from the excellent beer and wine menu to interesting mains. The Biramisu was excellent and we only chose it because it was recommended to go with the Pinot that we were drinking - no disappointments here.

C.We stumbled upon Bin 44 and were very pleased with the crispy crust and tasty GF pizza (verdura) and calamari fritti. It was just the right amount to share as an early dinner for these two jet-lagged visitors. My husband enjoyed his La Directa on tap and I my glass of Kahurangi Rosé. What a pleasant first meal in Wellington!

B.While this place has lovely staff, got to say that the pizza I had (which I never do when having lunch but get food envy everywhere else) was awful :(. Store bought base with minimal and dry toppings and what was effectively a tomatoe paste sauce. My lunch companion seemed to have an enjoyable and spot on salad. Double sad face.
D.Enjoyed a decent burger at Bin44. Good for lunch on a sunny day. Located on the wharf. They offered a beer menu but many were unfortunately out of stock.
