One of the best Italian restaurants in Wellington I go to since they were on Cuba Street. Their seafood linguine is my favourite and the pizza is top-notch; amazing doe with fresh ingredients. Took my partner and friends, and they all enjoyed their meal. Great customer service as well.

The pizza is impeccable. Fresh toppings and good amount of then on the delicious doe. The pasta was really well cooking, not al dente but not over cooked either, just the right way for my taste. The Seafood linguine was nice as well, the sauce was very tasty, for some might be considered a little too liquid, however I didn’t mind it and really enjoyed it as is. I wish I had a bit of bread to do “la scarpetta” with the left over sauce in my plate, I end up using the spoon and it was a good final touch to my meal.

One of the best meals we have enjoyed in a long time. The staff was so friendly especially the owner. The entree of mussels and arancini balls was exquisite with the mussels tasting so fresh in the red wine sauce and the arancin having a crunchy crust with a very delicate and soft mixture inside. The main of carnivore pizza and seafood pizza came out hot delicious. To top it all off with the tiramisu and home made lemoncello was the perfect way to end the night. I would highly recommend that you give Cin Cin a try and I hope that they open up a restaurant in Auckland one day

Not a warm welcome at reception. We were a party of 4 seated in the outdoor area that was nice. Service from young girl was very efficient. Starters were well presented and tasty. Wood fired pizza looked great. I had the seafood risotto which was off the hook fantastic. Food and service was overall amazing. Would defiantly recommend.

As usual, the cuisine was of a consistently high standard. We went to Cin Cin's new restaurant tonight and were pleased to experience dishes of a high standard. We had the gf seafood linguini and the seafood risotto. Sublime. Waitstaff are proactive, professional, and efficient. The new environment is great. We were seated in the conservatory area. It was quieter, which we appreciated.

We went to celebrate a graduation with a group of five people, and had a really great experience. The ambience reminds me of Italian restaurants I grew up with in New York City. The service was prompt and friendly even. The timing of the food was perfect. Even though it was very busy, service is still attentive. Every item we ordered, from appetizers to desserts, was excellent! Actually, Cincin is one of those restaurants where everything on the menu is delicious.

The pasta dishes were absolutely amazing, and would have given the place a 5 star rating on their own! The pizza was very nice and nothing to over board - which I enjoyed - honest flavours without the cluttered array of ingredients that can be found at some pizzerias. The deserts were again great. The service wasn't flawless but the comfortable feel in how the wait staff openly discussed made it feel very relaxed (we had a new waitress who often confirmed details with the senior staff around). I'd certainly visit again

My experience at Cin Cin was phenomenal. First, the ambience is just a bit magical, and it feels like anything could happen there. Also, the staff is immaculate - attentive but not pushy, and intuitively knew when I needed something, friendly without it being fake. Third, THE FOOD!!!! It was so good I was scraping the sauce from my seafood linguine out of the bowl. Awesome date night by myself. Will definitely be going here again next time I’m in Wellington. :)

Very nice, fresh food. All very well balanced, and reasonably priced to boot. The bruschetta was very good, but the pork and fennel conchiglioni was spectacular, with a terrific sauce. The abolone ravioli was also really good. Very good service topped it all off.

I had a lovely evening at Cin Cin. Service was quick and friendly. The food was wonderfully prepared. I got the fish of the day. The portions were generous as well. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Wellington to visit again. I would note that the fish had large slices of ginger mixed in with the veggies. I recognised them and sliced up what I wanted but it could wind up being a very surprising mouthful.

Beautiful seafood risotto and a good sized portion, for someone who is not a huge fish fan it was delicious. Staff were helpful but service not coordinated, several young staff coming to the same table to ask about drinks and a bit confused when bringing food out. Had the service be spot on it would've warranted 5 stars. Obviously a popular place, even on a Monday it was full the whole two plus hours we were there. Thanks Cin Cin :)

This was one of our best dining experience during our 2 weeks visit in New Zealand. John, the owner was friendly and welcoming, something that we didn't encounter much in New Zealand. I ordered a carafe of wine and when John came to our table, he offers me to taste a few wines that he has. He was happily replaced the wine that I ordered, with better Italian wine that he let me tasted... without paying extra. What a hospitality. John is also the pizza Chef and the pizza was excellent. He is passionate with his food and business. No wonder the restaurant was patronised by Mr. Tony Tan (Singapore President) during his visit in Wellington. Highly recommended.

Popped in for breakfast while in the city on an overnight trip. Delicious food with a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. We ordered eggs benedict and avocado smash. Spotted this cozy restaurant just across Micheal Fowler centre and what a great dinner it was. Wood fired pizzas are to die for, we had vegetariana and carnivora. Service was smooth and efficient. Great host. We will be back here for sure.

The hospitality of the place is really impressive. We brought young kids and they had great materials to entertain them. The kid’s pizza is shaped like Mickey Mouse’s profile (which amuses us adults more than kids tbh haha). And the pizza we got tasted first class. I would highly recommend for a nice brunch :)

What a fabulous wee Eatery. Handy to the Michael fowler, waterfront and Cuba street. Went as a party of 11 out of town colleagues one night and the service and food was so good I went back the next night with family. Food is excellent and the negroni was spot on. Such a nice place. Very upscale and fine dining but they still did a wonderful job catering to our young children (even as far as to go out of their way to find them crayons!) I have often lamented over the past year that one of my favourite restaurants Cin Cin was no longer on Cuba Street in the Floriditas vicinity and lo and behold my family and I were walking to a restaurant for lunch at the bottom of Cuba Mall on Wakefield Street when we came across CinCin in a very stylish and well appointed chic building. We had to stop there of course for lunch and unanimously agreed it was the best lunch we had had in a long while - we had the scotch fillet, carbonara, fresh salad and mushrooms as a side, finished off with tiramisu and panna cotta - simply delicious - all of it - very reasonable prices - great staff - attentive service - great ambience - everything you would expect from a classy Italian styled restaurant. Another easy addition to our long list of favourite restaurants in the Wellington City precinct.

Love Cin Cin! It's definitely on the pricier side but it is also worth it as the meal sizes are quite big. Their Calzones are my favourite and they are massive so definitely recommend for big eaters. I take half home and have it the next day for lunch so serves me as 2 meals. Garlic bread is yum, didn't rate the cabonara there though. Others enjoyed the other pastas and pizzas on offer so all and all would recommended

The food and wine range are just amazing. We've booked a few hours in advance because the restaurant easily gets busy. The service was very nice and the food didn't take long to come. It isn't a restaurant to come if you're hungry as the portions are not that big. If you want appreciate awesome Italian food, that's really the place. The only not important thing I got disappointed is that they don't use real candles on the tables. This is rather personal opinion and didn't change the dinner experience. :)

Came here after a terrible experience at a different restaurant in Wellington and was absolutely blown away by the food and service! The restaurant was busy and the lovely Sofia was our waitress. She came over and took our complete order as we were ready and brought us our water immediately and apologized that we were waiting for what felt like less than 5-10 minutes, not even that long! The food was SO worth the wait and we were even offered a free pizza for waiting about a half hour! This restaurant really knows how to take care of it’s guests and makes you feel valued as a customer. Will definitely be returning any time I visit Wellington in the future! Cheers

Wanted to dine at Cin Cin because of the great reviews about the vegan food, which was the only slightly positive aspect of our dining experience. The service itself was greatly disappointing. Coming from a hospo background, we understand the complications of a busy Saturday night, yet we were not well looked after by our server. We were not meal checked until the end of our meal which we barely finished. We were not asked for another drink (had one drink until the end of our dinner), and then our second drinks were wrongly ordered, with no new napkins (for a eating a pizza?) after our entree, and we were not offered any dessert. There were only 4 tables to serve in our section, and only one table was visited and given attention the majority of the night. The food itself was tasteless (not seasoned well), the array of vegan options were appreciated though. We were not aware that the olives on the vegetarian pizza were unpitted, so we were shocked when we bit on them and our teeth became sore. The vegan pasta was underwhelming, it was only mushrooms, parsley and pasta.

Great selection of foods. Nice decor and ambience, but very noisy. Staff extremely busy but attentive, helpful, and well-informed. My (gf) pasta was a little undercooked. Otherwise the meal was delicious - salad was fresh and tasty with great flavours. Everyone in our large-ish group was happy with their choices.

Turned up last night thinking it won’t be busy on a Monday, but was totally wrong and waited 15 minutes for a table as they were packed! (a good sign) Wait staff all very good, polite and friendly. Food was generally really nice, however my sons seafood linguine wasn’t 100%. He loves all seafood, but prawns did not seem fresh and were over-cooked. But! My biggest disappointment with Cin Cin? Their website is obviously not up to date as the prices were a lot more expensive than listed and the Specials that were listed on their website (which was the major draw card for us) were not available, after enquiring with waitress. Calamari was 33% more and $30 ‘Entree and Main Special’ actually cost me $45!! So Cin Cin - please update or remove your website to avoid any further false advertising...

We ate here with starters, mains and dessert and it was admittedly okay across the board - not as impressive as some of the other Italian restaurants around Wellington. The thing that probably lets it down was the 'rush-rush' service. Food came out reasonably quick, but it felt like they were trying to rush us out the door during all stages of the service. The mains all varied in their serving sizes. I had the ravioli, which was modest in size, while another member of the table had a seafood risotto which looked more appropriately portioned to be a main. Not sure I will go back again.

Had a really nice experience here! Went in with my boyfriend without a booking and was seated nice and close to the fire which was awesome for mid July weather. Ordered a glass of wine and wasn't ID'ed which was fine but a bit surprising since I am only 18. We ordered some garlic bread as an entree which was served in a plastic basket which seemed out of place, but the rest of the food was superb! I ordered the aged scotch fillet which was really tender and came with fries and a salad which was just what I felt like. My boyfriend ordered the wild rabbit ravioli which was also great albeit a smaller serving than hoped for. Would not hesitate to return or recommend to friends as I have done. Could also be great for families as well as just couples.

Very delicious food, had live music, quick service and largely very friendly staff. One weird thing is they don't put the full name of the beers they have on menu. Also, I went with a large group of French people, with varied levels of English. Some completely bilingual, just with an accent to some not so strong. Myself being English first language who speaks French, purposely sat by those who might need translation help. We were served by several staff, largely very friendly and lovely. We did have one staff member who took our food orders who was quite short with us and didn't seem happy to have to deal with us being largely French, even though there was essentially a translator present strategically located to be closest to where the wait staff would take orders from. Cin Cin is a true Italian Restaurant in Wellington, NZ. We dined on the Tuesday after New Years and the place was packed. Worth noting there was no holiday surcharge! We started with a bottle of Chianti and ordered "Garlic Bread" made with Pizza bread, Garlic infused olive oil, oregano, touch of sea salt – baked in wood fired oven and then "Bruschetta Italiana" toasted bread rubbed with garlic topped with rocket, ricotta and fresh tomatoes drizzled with olive oil and balsamic for appetizers. The appetizers were good but the bread on the Bruschetta was non eventful. We followed with entrees of "Conchiglioni Spinaci" prepared with Pasta shells filled with spinach, Zany Zeus ricotta, mozzarella and hint of nutmeg cooked in chef’s special napolitan sauce, " Wow really enjoyed this dish. Then a serving of Wild Rabbit Ravioli" made with Home-made Ravioli filled w/ slow braised wild rabbit served with a light napolitan sauce. Highly recommend the the Rabbit Ravs! Then "Lasagna" layers of organic beef Bolognese, mozzarella, parmesan and béchamel served with salad. The lasagna was needed a little more zing for me. Our last entree was "Risotto Wild Mushroom" Saffron infused risotto cooked with Portobello & wild mushrooms and a hint of gorgonzola. Good as well. Our meals were very good and the service was excellent. Highly recommend Cin Cin.
