Reviews of Egmont Street Eatery
S.
Loved every bite! Great food. Everything was cooked to perfection. Delicious entrees. But the highlight of the dinner were beef and pork - simply to die for. Outstanding service as well. For me, Egmont Street Eatery is the best dinner restaurant in Wellington, and the closest to fine dining experience. Can't wait to dine again.
D.
Great service. Great food. Easily one of the top restaurants in Wellington. Recently won burger on a plate and bar tender of the year. We keep coming back and everytime there's something different
L.
Food, coffee, service, all so solid. Was blown away here.
Cassie the hostess was so on point and my coffee was the best I’ve had in Wellington over a long weekend visiting so many spots.
Will be back here every time I am in Wellington!
L.
Nice food but they ran out of English breakfast tea which seems very unusual for a cafe. Also I asked for poached eggs which they could not do which also seems unusual for a cafe. So I ended up having them fried which wasn't my first choice.
T.
The food here is always amazing, and they have had a lovely makeover. We arrived close to when the kitchen was closing, but after checking we were welcomed in and had a delicious Saturday lunch!
s.
This is easily one of the best places to eat in Wellington. The food is innovative and sublime. The staff are amazing and provide the best service you could wish for. Wine matches are perfect and their level of knowledge outstanding. Cannot recommend highly enough.
I.
Everything was cooked to perfection at the Egmont Street Eatery. The steak was the best, the fish was soft and tender. The side potatoes, the starter and even complementary fried chickpeas were delicious. Thank you for all your effort, we'll be back when we are in Wellington again. Also, that cocktail was amazing! Well done.
P.
Excellent really well prepared food with some inventive twists. Great service as well - up there with the best I’ve had. And everyone working there seemed happy - always a good sign. Recommended
A.
Get the Tempura Octopus bite. Get a few. Easily the best thing I've eaten in Wellington. Its salty, sweet, umami, a touch spicy. Its got bite, its got crunch. So balanced, so delicious.
Food at Egmont is delicious and the staff are delightful. Will be back.
E.
I loved the atmosphere here, we were well looked after by everyone right from when we walked in the door to when we left! And the food, absolutely delicious! Can't wait to dine there again!
B.
Tried the smoked potato hash for breakfast. I enjoyed the flavour and it was a large portion size. Cold brew coffee also great. Staff friendly and attentive. Will return another time to try waffles which look good.
J.
Smoked potato hash with brisket was not only amazing, it was one of the best meals I can recall. Coffee was spot on and served as traditional sizes. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend Egmont Street Eatery.
G.
Had a fantastic dining experience last night at Elmont Street Eatery. Great food and staff. Jono the manager went down the road to get me a beer as they had nothing on their list that accommodated my fussy taste. Then he made me a cocktail he thought I would like to finish off with... and he was right. Thank you to all of the staff for a wonderful dining experience in Wellington. We will be back!!!!
D.
Excellent service and food, we had a lovely brunch experience.
H.
A lovely café tucked away in an alleyway. Not flash by any means but is compensated by lovely friendly staff, excellent coffee and hearty, yummy food. Made with love and eaten with love. We'll be back!
I.
I really enjoyed my experience at Egmont st Eatery, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended to visit!
L.
Excellent.
Small menu with inspired dishes.
Extensive wine list, however the different sizes available needs to be clearer, maybe a small legend or key as to size in millilitres?
The eatery is compact, cosy and intimate and well worth a visit.
Friendly efficient staff.
M.
We had great breakfast. Delicious cheese scone and my bbq baked beans were great too. You should add some mushrooms for sure...
W.
Outstanding food. We had a wonderful time. Egmont Street Eatery deserves to be ranked up there with some of the country’s best eateries.
T.
My friend and I dropped by tonight, we were getting hungry and this looked like a good pick. We were greeted promptly and treated incredibly well right from the start to the end. Recommendations were on point and the food was brilliant. We had the crispy cabbage, brawn courgette, octopus skewer, stracciatella, tomato salad and asparagus. Good beer selection and really lovely, interesting mocktails that weren’t too sweet. We passed on dessert and went back for another round of octopus instead. Delish. It’s not cheap but it is ABSOLUTELY worth it, will definitely be back.
T.
Flawless. attentive, & welcoming staff(all of them!) Amazing cuisine, a must for any discerning diner, 10/10
A.
Beautiful food, Beautiful service. Always made sure cups were full, food came in a timely manner and taste bloody good.
S.
My partner and I popped in for a WOAP burger on Saturday evening, and the food and service was phenomenal. We only came in for a small bite and were so well looked after. The waiter even gave us a complimentary citrus slice for dessert which was super tasty!
Thanks for the wonderful experience Egmont St Eatery!
S.
A really nice brunch and well looked after by the fantastic staff. We loved the Bloody Mary's. Cheers
S.
I've seen some of their pastries at my daily coffee shop and they always highly recommended Egmont Street Eatery, didn't disappoint at all. Had a cookies and cream donut while I waited for friends to arrive, delicious.....not overly sweet or sickening like some donuts, still has a nice chewy doughy texture followed by a decadent light filling. I ordered the smoked whitefish hashbrown, crunchy outer layer with a nice creamy inside mixed with the smokey whitefish, combined with the soft boiled egg and creme fraiche......mmmmmmmm very nice and portion size was good too. This also came with a 2nd donut on the side....this time it was a jam...don't really need to say much more. Coffee was decent, just wasn't to my taste. Service was top notch, will be back.
R.
Food and cocktails are above average. Service friendly and prompt. Was hoping for crispy potatoes on their "smoked hash" dish to provide a bit of texture but potatoes were just a bit ordinary. Everything else was done nicely.
J.
Great night out, highlight being possibly the best gnocchi I’ve ever had ... super light, melt on your mouth goodness. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Recommend sitting upstairs or alfresco during summer.
T.
Can you say fine dinning, had never been to Egmont Street eatery and my first visit didn't disappoint. Was welcomed by a friendly guy, dressed very professionally, shown to my seat where I was asked if I wanted still or sparkling by an equally professionally dressed guy. The night only got better from there, food was amazing and the flavours were out of this world, always asked if another drink was needed when it was finished. Would recommend the T bone steak, 850g of perfectly cooked heaven. Was a bit on the pricy side but then again was well inline with out fine dinning restaurants. If your around the Wellington Central area you can't go past Egmont St eatry for a amazing dinning experience.
T.
Great food and drinks, friendly service
M.
Had the best pancakes I've had in my life here. So light and fluffy. The berries and sauce complement it well. Good coffee also. Also had a nice relaxed vibe to the place.
k.
Great service, cool atmosphere and decor and of course fantastic food! Best brunch spot in Wellington. The smoked potato and brisket hash is unreal!
K.
Was pleasantly surprised! The menu is simple, but everything we had was amazing. Highly recommend the hash with brisket!
F.
Great atmosphere, lovely service, and possibly the most delicious halloumi + avocado on toast I have ever eaten. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.
S.
Delicious juice and eggs on sourdough. A good spot for breakfast classics, and a popular eatery as they were quite busy upon opening on a weekday morning.
M.
Awesome for brunch and dinner, menu changes often and is always yummy
D.
Very good food and wine. They don't have a big wine selection bit they few they have seem to be very carefully selected. The food is amazing. We tried the burguer, loaded fries and stracciatella; everything was awesome. Coffee was good too, they have a medium roast which is strange for New Zealand so that was a good surprise. And you neeeed to try the doughnuts theyvare amazing and a perfect way to finish up your meal.
S.
What an amazing experience! The food is absolutely devine and the service is 100% fabulous.
A.
Came here for Sunday breakfast. I ordered the BBQ baked beans with cornbread along with a flat white. Tasty meal and good coffee with efficient service although slightly on the pricey side.
M.
Tucked away in a side street is this this little gem. Fabulous service, Food is perfection and presented beautiful, great wait staff. A must place to eat in Wellington.
D.
Wow! Friendly and helpful staff. Food was amazing and such a cute restaurant. Good morning drinks and loved the brunch. I had the hash brown with the fish and it was flavorful and perfect portioning! I would definitely come back.
R.
Great place for a Saturday brunch with the family. Quick friendly services. Good food.
R.
The food here is delicious and interesting. Great atmosphere. Always excited to see what's new on the menu
D.
Excellent food and service. The homemade jalapeño and feijoa sauce was so good.
A.
Excellent food and amazing service. Highly recommend.
T.
Wonderful food, with a great wine menu. Enjoyed perfectly cooked snapper and grilled fresh asparagus, while my fiance had rump steak with grilled broccoli. The service was excellent - the staff were friendly and attentive and we appreciated the delicious extras that they brought to make up for a delay before serving.
M.
Great service, we had the waffles (amazing).
Would recommend!
C.
Absolutely amazing. Loved the lamb - came in two cuts (pressed shoulder and tenderloin) and it was an original take on lamb which I appreciated. Very tasty.
Definitely an underrated spot
K.
Super stoked with the dairy free menu for the boyfriend. My regular Woap burger was delicious!
L.
Great food with a bustling atmosphere. Would recommend coming for brunch.
L.
Modern decor with nice atmosphere. The meal took a long time to come and the buttermilk chicken was over powered by too many gherkins. Service was okay.
H.
The chefs really think about what flavours go with what and take pride in the flavours and presentation of their fabulous creations. This restaurant is a winner.
M.
Had the market fish and thought it was really nice. Everything on the plate tasted great together and it looked super pretty too. Lots of elements and textures.
e.
WOAP "Fatty Melt" burger was an easy 10/10. Atmosphere was great. Service was awesome.
R.
The service is attentive and friendly and the food is outstanding. They smashed last year’s Burger on a Plate competition and I’m hoping they do it again this year. We had fish and the lamb. Let's start with the fish it was so good one of the best I have had, lamb was good as well. Topped of with date and some curd which was so good.
A.
Located in a quiet alley. Good food, good service. The mains sizes are probably best described as adequate. Try their brussel sprouts, they might help change your mind about this vegetable. The night we were there, the fish was groper - fresh, beautifully cooked, delicious sauce. Hands down my dish of the night. We also had beef and lamb mains, which were fine. The only slight drawback is the place is all hard surfaces, so on a busy night, it was a little on the noisy side. They had a riesling from Wanaka, a very enjoyable riesling.
D.
Great food and even better staff. Quality service all-round
L.
Convenient place and great service. Food was really good too.
J.
We hadn't been to Egmont Street Eatery since the (fantastic) Wellington on a plate mashup with Cumulus Inc, but our Saturday brunch was amazing. Perfect waffles with interesting bits (dehydrated strawberry wafers and cinnamon sugar), and a pastrami hash with perfect slow eggs. We'll definitely be back
k.
great coffee and delicious food, if your in wellington do check it out
T.
Writing the menu on quality paper with helvetica font shouldn't give anyone the right to charge 20$ for a sandwich. Over crowded, you don't even hear your friends, over priced. Very poser/posh. In Wellington, you have much better options.
A.
The rice cake and salad was so good! A bit different from your normal breakfast, which is what I love. Service staff were efficient and friendly.
H.
Beautiful food every time, tonight was made particularly special by the lovely Jono and Finn on my partner and Is anniversary! Thanks a lot team everything was amazing.
M.
The black pudding sandwich is by far my favourite. Even if you're not a black pudding fan this delicious morsel will have you coming back for more!
w.
Fantastic food - I never dreamed that vegetables like cauliflower and broccolini could taste so great! And the Edith Piaff cocktail was wonderful. The service was excellent - the staff were friendly and attentive and we appreciated the delicious extras that they brought to make up for a delay before serving.
R.
Great breakfast, good service and coffee. Neo still the benchmark for us!
G.
Delicious food, super chilled vibes and faultless customer service from Jonno and Moses! Thanks guys!
K.
The food was amazing, and impeccable service. Would definitely recommend the daily juice option.
D.
Amazing food and friendly service.
Bbq baked beans comes served on the best cornbread I've ever tried!
Waffles are also rather decadent.
Highly recommended
s.
Superb food, a wine selection to cater for all tastes and service that was attentive, friendly and wise in terms of advice on what to eat.
B.
Absolutely delicious food, super friendly staff and great atmosphere. Would 100% visit again
I.
This is quite a posh place. Had a nice dinner there. I took a market fish and Chablis. Both were excellent. The only thing to notice is that the vegetables on the side need to be ordered in addition to the dish.
R.
Only critical part of my whole meal last night was that my cocktail was a bit sweet,so i got the fish and lamb fish was great fiance said but the lamb was incredible who knew parmesan and lamb with go together, for desert lemon tart was good date along was perfect. Highly recommend
K.
Really enjoyed it here. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Our waitress was a delight and could tell us everything about the menu in detail. My one criticism was the manager. I understand it's a high pressure job but talking down to your staff is not on and makes for an uncomfortable dining experience. At one point he rudely made a comment about the unset tables to the wait staff. The tables had just left and she was busy giving the customers that were there 5 star service. Calm your farm mate. Otherwise - would recommend
A.
The Egmont St Eatery is a gorgeous contemporary space for a fantastic evening meal.
My partner and I were both impressed with the quality of the dishes, their tastes, the presentation, and the attentive plus friendly service provided.
The staff made us feel welcome and were helpful in navigating us through the menu too.
Very highly recommended! We will most definitely return!

C.
I would definitely go back to this restaurant. The maitre 'd was Very knowledgeable and the food was delicious. The millefeulle was exceptional
E.
One of the best meals I have ever had! Beautiful flavours, perfectly cooked steak and a creative combination of ingredients. The egg wrapped in truffle breadcrumbs was out of this world! To top it off I was recommended the perfect wine match and received excellent service. Nice ambience as well.
R.
Had heard good things about ESE so decided to try it out. No booking on a Saturday night so, understandably, got two seats at the bar overlooking the kitchen - a stroke of luck. The food, excellently prepared by head chef Adam, was outstanding. We had the lamb and steak, with a side of broccolini, which were mouth watering. Adam was charming as well as skilful, and even slipped us their homemade toffees with our coffees. A brilliant night and highly recommend sitting at the chef’s bar if you get the opportunity.
T.
The waiters said i could sit outside and then they forgot about me for 20 mins...when i finally got served my food came out and then i didnt get my coffee till after id finished eating and sat around waiting for a while. Oh....and this is my "very small" coffee....havent even drank from it yet! 😑
C.
You absolutely have to dine here if you are staying in Wellington. We were lucky enough to have Egmont recommended to us and all the praise we heard was certainly warranted.
Flawless service. Our waitresses were welcoming, engaging and playful with our 2 year old, getting her books to read.
The venue is stylish, classy and chic. Definitely a place for dates or special occasions.
The food is top notch. High quality ingredients. Presented like art. Tasted like heaven on a plate.
Overall, hands down the best meal we had on our whole 1 month tour of north island NZ.
G.
Smallish place. Tucked away down a small side street with the restaurant area actually below street level. Some tap beers and a good wine/ beer list. Small manageable food menu.
Food and service excellent. Mains delicious but desserts don't seem to be their strong point (based on one only).
Usual pricing about $35 for mains.
We would go there again.
J.
Great food wine and beer selection. Very attentive and accommodating staff. Would definitely return.
T.
I had the roast on toast which was very tasty. They are busy and shut early.
B.
Really nice little niche. The coffee was lovely.
The hash stack could've def done with less potatoes and perhaps a bit of greens.
But overall was a great bruch which left me really satisfied.
L.
Snappy service, great drinks, great food, reasonable prices.
W.
Fantastic service and the WOAP burger was excellent with the perfect beer match, thanks Team!
J.
Great food wine and beer selection. Very attentive and accommodating staff. Would definitely return.
K.
Always try to visit whenever I'm in Wellington. Really cool eatery, tucked away and cozy. Great spot to people watch and enjoy a coffee. Friendly staff, highly recommend.
N.
Was a divine experience with every dish bringing exotic flavours and beautiful combinations.
M.
Interesting little spot for a restaurant, thought it was quite cute, beautiful staff and the food was so delicious!!
B.

Wonderful food and fantastic customer service. Couldn’t fault their recommendations at all.
S.
Awesome place with great food and decor

S.
Lovely pre theatre dinner with mom! Was super bussy. I'm glad o pre booked our table. Wait staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. The food was delicious. The beef tartar and Fish of the day with cockles was very well done and to be recommended! I would recommend in a heartbeat.
T.
Well where to start! Possibly the best service I have experienced dining in Wellington. From the waiters to the chef, they were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and all went out of their way for us. Just all around awesome. The food was amazing and overall one of the best dinners out in the CBD.
T.
Great food and an enjoyable experience. I especially enjoyed the home made baked beans and corn bread. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Will definitely be going again.
P.
Pretty good food and coffee. Went for breakfast with three others and we all liked our meal. Was very close to five stars but I remember the masses of potato's that came with my breakfast were slightly off balance with the dish. I would go back - but it probably wouldn't be my first choice in the area.
A.
Tucked away from the street level the Egmont Street Eatery is a great place to grab brunch with friends. A pleasing selection of options that vary from the stock standard brunch fare. Craft beer on offer which isn't a surprise in Wellington but always good to see. Great service and very nice decor.
A.
And THAT’S how you do brunch! So so good.
n.
Very good service with very good food.
G.
Small menu with superb dishes - lots of complimentary flavours
N.
Was a divine experience with every dish bringing exotic flavours and beautiful combinations.
A.
The food was good , service can be a little better ( Its nice when staff is friendly and welcoming -- we experienced something a little different when we were there ) and i prefer to eat my egg and toast on a plate ... not a bowl , its kind of weird . Not a big deal its just a personal preference. Coffee was amazing .
R.
My wife and I are pretty seasoned diners in the finest of the vast array of eateries that Wellingyon has to offer - and ESE doesnt disappoint. From the time we happened across its elegant and chic street decor, entering its warm and inviting buzz, to savoring some of the flavoursone and exciting array of dishes on offer we remained engaged with the place and enjoyed every moment. We shared the aged beef rump and new season grilled asparagus, komhucha and a glass of our favourite framingtons which we were surprised they had - food was delicious, staff were all great, and atmosphere/lighting/decor were all nice and added to the overall thumbs up impression we had upon leaving. A hidden gem in Wellington well worth visiting IOHO.
B.
We came for breakfast on Christmas Eve and it was wonderful. I'm in a wheelchair and it looked as though it might be too hard to get down the steps/manoeuvre in the small eating area, but the staff were wonderful. They organised an accessible table for us and opened their garage door to bring us through the kitchen entrance which is flat, and were very friendly about the whole thing. The food was amazing and beautifully presented too. 💟
L.
Beautiful presentation and delicious flavour combinations. Menu items are unique (don't expect a normal eggs bennie). Great selection of gluten-free options, just ask for the menu (yes they created you a special menu).
M.
Great food, service. Excellent beer; that Parrotdog stout was soooo good. Like a fine wine. My Angus steak beautifully cooked with kohl rabi. So delicious. Would recommend to family and friends a true dining experience.
C.
Excellent modern New Zealand restaurant for brunch, lunch and dinner. Dishes that are more creative than the usual, with a slight fusion spin on many of them. Refreshing excellent food and higher concept eating than other places nearby.
A.
Busy cafe again, great service and lovely menu, tasty, different nice having small amount to choice from. Not biggest fan of soft egg a bit to gooey and was expected it to be whole like boiled egg not poached.
D.
I absolutely love this place! The staff are very friendly, the layout is cozy and modern, and the food is very, very good. Great place for brunch. They also recently renovated all of Egmont St., so now if you sit outside you have some lovely flowers and neon lights to look at.
T.
Had waffles wife had scrambled eggs. Best waffles I've ever had! Highly recommend!! Great place for breakfast.
K.
I had a fantastic lunch here. FoD was gorgeous.
L.
WOAP. The burger was delicious and service was fast. We enjoyed sitting by the kitchen because we got to see how the burgers were prepared. Overall experience was pretty good.
D.
Doubled up on their burger soo good!!!
L.
Had dinner with my Dad here last week and we were thoroughly impressed. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Food was impeccable and well priced. We would definitely return here again.
D.
Small boutique eatery, central but tucked away and cosy. Limited menu for lunch or dinner and overpriced house wine but worth giving a go. Nice for a quiet date night.
J.
PERFECT COFFEE!
Delicious food! I had the Whitefish hashbrown - best brekkie I've ordered yet!
..Oh and the kids loved their fluffys with homemade marshmallow.. & thank you for the Marshmallows for our travels.
definitely recommend
R.
Been here multiple times and enjoyed every visit. Every visit included a menu change and I'm constantly satisfied with the variety of menu items. Always excited to eat here.
M.
The gluten free burger during WOAP this year is incredible. My wife, a coeliac who typically dislikes burgers, went back a second time for it.
S.
Service 9/10
Food 9/10
Coffee 8/10
J.
Delicious breakfast, and we sat at the counter and watched the chefs prepare all of the dishes - they were like artists, really impressive! :)
G.
Egmont Street Eatery were (deserved) winners in last year's Wellington on a Plate burger challenge, so we dropped in this year to sample the 2016 offering.
As could be expected, it was excellent. Previously, restaurants attempting to used steamed bun as the casing have also used overly moist contents leaving a disheveled mess 2 minutes into eating, but ESE have the combination exactly right... the tastes were great, with the Sichuan sauce giving the perfect hit of spice. The crispy squid tentacles (instead of fries) was a perfect complement.
Of the burgers that I've tasted so far in the competition, this is the first that I'd happily go back for seconds
M.
Cute little place in a lane way. Went there for brunch, the food was tasty but portion sizes were tiny!!!!! Left hungry so probably would avoid going there again. Maybe dinner is better?
L.
Wonderful food and fantastic customer service. Couldn’t fault their recommendations at all.
E.
Such interesting plates with unique flavors! Would recommend the black pudding breakfast sandwich and Austrian hot cakes. Great service and cute location.
D.
A top brunch, lunch, dinner location. They also do catering options which I would highly recommend!!!
J.
Great menu! If you’re looking for a creative, elevated brunch experience in Wellington this is it! Fantastic food and great service!
G.
This is my favorite breakfast place in Wellington. The best food. Great staff. Delightfully quiet in the early morning during the week.
B.
Delicious, great staff who were able to talk us through the whole menu. Busy morning that we popped in they made space for us and were as lovely to deal with as the food was to eat.
A.
Amazing!! Food, service, wine menu = a great evening.
Only thing is it went quickly. Next time. I would slow it down and request more time between courses.
S.
Great restaurant tucked away in a little alley/street. Well executed, creative dishes with a good selection of cocktails, wine and beers. Great service too.
J.
Hand down, one of my favourite spots in Wellington. Great food, cool place for a few beers. small and hidden away. Love the WCC's initiative to boost pedestrian access to this and Eva St too
P.
Down a lane you will find a delightful small restaurant. I stopped for a small meal, ordered the chicken burger and a craft lager, both went down very well. Highly recommended..
K.
Food is absolutely delicious and worth every cent you pay for it. Friendly staff, nice ambiance - have only tried lunch here but will definitely return to try some dinner soon!
M.
Fantastic place. Food is amazing and the service is exceptional
L.
Visited here for WOAP 2020 and throughly enjoyed the burger, wine match, and amazing service from Matthew. Will definitely visit again!
S.
Incredible menu, great for coeliac offerings (the French toast with coconut bread and cornbread with beans are highlights). Love the location and great wine list - great for brunch and dinner
c.
Found this place wondering around Wellington. had the fish of the day. Very accommodating to dietary requirements and fantastic food and sensational service. Highly recommend.
r.
Wow this place is a true hidden gem too! Excellent service, and the food is interesting and oh so delish! The mushroom medley on the brunch menu is worth every penny!
N.
Really yummy food but expensive for what you get. Avoid the avocado toast for...bad value. Better with something else and half an avocado extra.
J.
Excellent food and service. We loved the ambience of the restaurant as well. Would highly recommend to others!
H.
Very cute love the plants
B.
Excellent service and truely delicious, innovative food made with panache.
In a sunny quiet secret little haven hidden in the central city
(Pity about the dripping aircon from the above apartments but still 5 stars from me)
M.
Interesting little spot for a restaurant, thought it was quite cute, beautiful staff and the food was so delicious!!
W.
Very good menu, healthy options that tasted amazing.
Good attentive staff too, highly recommend.
A.
Nice and cosy, good atmosphere. Foods were also very tasty, but my one was very small potion.
M.
Great food and service gets very busy on the weekend so pays to get in early. My friend had the donuts which they make fresh in their kitchen looked amazing
S.
A really nice side street restaurant in Te Aro area of Wellington CBD.
Food has always been excellent.
Small place so worth booking to avoid disappointment
d.
One of the most exciting menus I've ever come across. Amazing selection of drinks. Would love to work here one day
R.
I had a lovely meal. I had my 10month old with me and staff were wonderful and helpful. Food was brilliant!
M.
Delicious food and very friendly staff! Been here 3 times, and will definitely come again!
H.
Amazing food and drinks. Very popular place and very limited seating. Booking otherwise early dining recommended.
c.
Awesome food. Average drinks, they've tried being to boutique and have chosen a no name soft drink as mixer, tasted like sodastream made badly
J.
Great little surprise of a place down this old side street. Staff are hectic but genuine and considerate. Food is a good with slight differences that make it not the usual fair.
J.
Fabulous food and great friendly, efficient service.
J.
Great staff and service!
N.
Fantastic WoaP burger - really inventive - Yum! Love the NZ truffles. Service gave my friend a buzz! Recommended!
D.
Had dinner here and was fantastic. Service great, atmosphere great and food was fantastic. Really well thought out.
D.
Just outstanding in every way... Food, service, atmosphere, decor.. One of my absolute favourites in the amazing Welly food scene :)
A.
$6 side for 2 of the smallest sausages you've ever seen... Bring a magnified glass. Good coffee and thick toast.
L.
One of my favourite places to go in Wellington. The food is always incredible. Would highly recommend.
S.
Been here a couple of times, the first time the food was incredible, but was a little disappointed on our second visit more recently. Hopefully just a blip, would definitely return!
M.
The service was friendly and attentive at all times. Wonderful staff. The food was all really really delicious. Absolutely fabulous.
C.
Amazing meat dishes cooked to perfection. Chicken breast was juicy and steak was delicious
Z.
Super friendly service, amazing dishes, one of my favorite in Wellington. Always a great choice.

A.
Food is always excellent & they had a good, [but smallish] selection of craft beers.
J.
Lovely atmosphere, excellent brunch food and great coffee. Highly recommend!
K.
Good range of meals available, and very accommodating for dietary requirements. Overheated the milk for the coffee I had there though.
J.
