Great taste. Visited with friends. We had chicken bao bun (9.50$ - 2 pieces) char koay teow, char mee, Mee Goreng (18.50$ each) and lychee float 6.90$ and a ginger beer 5$
Total bill 93.0$
Chicken bao at 9.50$ for 2 pieces was expensive.
Overall taste was good but noodles were quite oily. Needed a little extra spice. And there were indeed only 3 prawns as one of the previous customer pointed
4/5 for taste; 3/5 for value. Overall 3/5

Delicious Malaysian food. My personal hobby is trying Malaysian food in NZ, wasn't disappointed by the flavours and portions here.
We walked in at around 7pm on a busy Friday night without a reservation but still managed to be seated 15mins later. The kitchen forgot one of our orders but made up for it with a complimentary appetizer.

I ordered char keuy teow and it tasted just like im having it in Malaysia, really authentic. However, i shared claypot chicken with my friend, it was a slight disappointed. It didnt have the black soy sauce and dint have the crusted rice at the side. This is just personal preference though. Other than that, all the foods tasted great and authentic. Environment is good and had an enjoyable dinner.

If you don't know what to eat while you're in the city, and looking for a cheap and tasty food at the same time, this place is the answer!
This place always packed with people but they serve pretty fast.
We got our orders in less than 15 mins.
Anyway, if you really like spicy foods, I suggest to level up your spiciness when you order.

100% authentic
Friday special beef is super tender, kueh is delicious with fragrant pandan, teh tarik is the BEST ever. Me and my partner will be back when we are back in Welly

Really tasty South Asian food. Served quickly and with a smile. We had the fish wrapped in leaves and the sausage and mushrooms. I can’t recall the names on the menu, sorry. Both came with rice and were delicious. We also ordered the vegetable fritters as an entree. We didn’t need to. The two mains were more than enough for two people. Do go.

Not as good as it was before! Went to the Victoria St store and ordered Assam laksa and curry. Laksa was watery and the proportion of curry was smaller than the proportion of rice!! Taste was still nice but quality has definitely gone down compared to before!

I really like the food here.
The place gets really busy so try to make a reservation if possible (only possible for dinner, lunch is walk in).
My favorite is the mee goreng with tofu and these two desserts!!!

My husband and I did a walk-in during busy hours, we had to wait for a while since there were no seats but that's okay, one of the FOH kept us company. Once seated we were given a jug of water and menus. I ordered the Char Keuy Teow and my husband ordered the Nasi Goreng. We also ordered Teh Tarak! All were splendid. Overall, lovely experience, friendly staff and good food. Will be coming back again!
