I don’t remember exactly what I ordered but I do remember it was delicious. The Injera was really nice and I had a selection of different vegan dishes. It was really nice and the staff were friendly.
I am actually saddened to see there aren’t more Ethiopian restaurants around as I will have to wait until I am next in Wellington to visit.

Such a delicious place!! First time trying ethiopian and absolutely loved it. Got the vegan combo - which serves two but I reckon could be enough for three with room left for dessert later - and the minchet abish wot i think? The winner of the night was definitely the injera.. such a lovely soft sour bread i could just eat that and be happy

Absolutely delicious! Ate everything and the traditional tea is INCREDIBLE. Have already told everyone about this place. Will definitely go back!

Had the Meat Shared meal...first timers and we were not disappointed. Succulent, flavoursome, complementing dishes and the injera bread - sour dough, soft flatbread...delicious. Try the traditional tea and coffee as well. Excellent, friendly service, wonderful ambiance, highly recommend. Compliments to the chef.

Food is tasty and has a very home-made vibe which we really liked. Great variety of vegan and gluten free options that are great on their own right whether you have those dietary needs or not. A good balance of tasty but not very spicy or oily, you could eat it any time. We ordered the combo dishes to try a bit of everything and there was nothing on there we didn't like which was awesome. The chicken was nice and not dry. We ordered delivery because we weren't up to going out tonight but next time we will go in person, mainly so we can put our money towards the restaurant instead of a big cut going to the delivery company.

Amazing well priced food! 2-3 person combo meals are available with meat or as vegan meals, which are still amazingly tasty and filling. Staff were all pleasant to interact with and the outside seating was a nice touch.

Nice Ethiopian food.
The food was good, to be honest nothing really blew my mind, but everything was good.
Convenient prices.
The place was a little cold and waitress kept on leaving the doors doors by the end…

Highly recommend this place, it's a great little joint, mix of tables from cosy 2 seats to long table for a party. Nice vibe, relaxed and very welcoming. Got the vegan combo for 2 - variety of foods and traditional bread, which is gluten free. Also veg and meat options.Generous portions, super delicious and not too spicy. Was $36, really great price for such great food. Will absolutely be back, thanks so much

Banging. If you're looking for that little something different that hits the spot, this is it. Rich flavours skillfully done, and great portions. If its your first time just get a platter or order a few things and you will be back

I visit this place EVERY TIME I'm in Wellington. Delicious cuisine, relaxed and casual atmosphere. Affordable with generous portions and GREAT for vegan options.
