Apparently kiwi Nando’s isn’t a patch on UK Nando’s but if that’s the case then the Brit’s are getting Michelin star takeaways coz Nando’s is pretty freakin’ good. It may not be cheap but the option to choose your own level of spice (hot for me) and add a side of peri chips sets this above 90% of other common franchises. I go for the classic wrap and a ginger beer ever time. Yum! The Courtney Place Nando’s is nicely kitted out. It’s just a shame that COVID has hit the customer base hard - I don’t like the thought of not having Nando’s as a pre-movie dinner option.

Nando's food is always delicious and value of money. However, today we found hair inside meal. Hoping staff will follow food hygiene procedure. Please see below photos for reference.

Good food. Friendly staff. Relatively average speed in terms of service. The only reasons why 2 stars are taken away is because they are always out of chicken and other random things no matter what time of day you come in. I've been here 3 times. The first time at around 11am and they told me they had no chicken because deliveries has been made yet. The second time at around 3-4pm on a Thursday and they were out of chicken. No reason was given. The third time at 7pm on a Tuesday. They were out of chicken again. I don't know why

Dinner for my partners 30th we couldnt resist our favs in the city so nandos it was. We were highly pleased with the service we recieved from start to finish very well mannered foh staff was a long day shopping for us so we were exhausted yous made us feel right at home 😊 food perfect as always .

Came here on July 2020 in a trip to Wellington. Food was nice like what Nando's suppossed to be. HOWEVER, in my NYE trip (31 Dec 2021), the quality of the food was declining. I had 2 meals at Nandos on 2 different days. My first meal (1/4 chicken) was lacking of seasoning. I thought i just had a bad luck but i was wrong. The second one (another day) was horrible. The chicken was burnt entirely and could barely taste the sauce (ofc because its burnt). Having 2 consecutive bad meals means that there must be some management issues or poorly trained cooks. I'm really hoping that improvement will be made soon.

What a great experience at Nando's willington. Staff are friendly and attentive. Excellent service and good quality of food.All the team members of Nando's staff are working together to give their best. All staff were following covid19 procedure, which is impressive. (Jordi, Chris, Angelo, Grace, Angus, cort, Deep.). Highly recommend to visit. Best Nando's team in Oceania.

Not the most friendly service. Bread was stale and the chips were slightly undercooked. Food arrived quickly though. Not bad overall.

Pretty good lunch for the price. Restaurant was relatively clean and tidy but there were a few dirty tables about. Wasnt to impressed with the knives and forks that were sticky and seemed like they needed to be put through a dishwasher. Service was good.

I love Nandos but standards have dropped over last few months. Evening Thursday. Chicken came out first, chips later. Chicken was cold. Children's meal was last of five meals. Ketchup ran out. Took longer than said. Toilets were not clean. No paper towels. Previous two visits order came out wrong. Couldn't order a beer because no member of staff had a licence. Don't even know what this means. Nandos used to be reliable family friendly with good food. Staff were way out of their depth with an endless stream of uber eat orders while customers in the restaurant waited and waited for poor quality.

Nice place to get food, good atmosphere. I like going and it reminds me of long ago. One gets good food, I like the way the food is prepared and it’s easy to select the level of spice or heat that is applied to your food. There seems to always be more side items added the the menu which keeps it interesting. If you like chicken this is a place to visit. The options have a distinct Portuguese feel to it and that is where the style of chicken originated.

Recently the quality has gone down a little. The chips is very bad recently, looks like, they took a cheaper supplier perhaps. Service time also very long at times sadly.

First off, the food was absolutely beautiful. No flaws there. And the staff member who served us (Anna?) was lovely and super helpful with our picky and difficult order. When we first entered the shop, only one other person was in eating, and there were maybe 5 or 6 staff members that I could see. I counted 5 tables with rubbish and plates on them, and when we sat down on a clear table it was sticky, so we moved. While waiting for our food (which didn't take very long), 3 of the staff members seemed to be just standing around chatting about their lives loudly. Another staff member who was standing at the till doing something else when another customer came up to order, yelled back to some staff members 3 times for someone to get the till. Seemed very chaotic and not a very relaxing environment to eat in.

Some of our orders were mixed up with other guests at other tables, some of the chicken wings had been sitting for a bit so they weren't warm. Our table looked like it hadn't been wiped before we arrived as it was sticky. On the plus side food was quick to arrive. Not particularly a place I would choose to go to but the group I was with raved about their meals. Lots of cooking odour in the air - their extractor fan either can't cope or wasn't working. Nice decor, funky lightshades made from grape vines, dirty/dusty feature glass lights and lots of bulbs weren't working.

Always loved nandos. Mashed up chicken liver but still love the taste. Maybe have a different offer or menu choices once in a while. Noisy, but it is in the middle of the city and this means a lot of people are coming here.

Nice place to get grilled chicken. You can get a variety of food ranging from very spicy to mild with herbs. Pricing us a bit expensive but it's worth it, the flavour is amazing and the chicken is always cooked perfectly.

Hey, it's Nando's. The new menu is better value in my opinion, but it's pricey. You don't get an awful lot of food, but the chicken is tasty, the chips are tasty and it's really just like fast food with a lot more self respect and care in the kitchen.

Great grilled chicken here but my experiences here are mixed. I love the new open layout and modern look. The staff are also very friendly. The place is also kept clean. But there lots of issues present. The staff are extremely slow in cooking the food at peak times. I ordered once, and it took nearly 45 mins to come out which is just not acceptable at all. They don't have any service here, you actually have to get water, sauses, cutlery and cups yourself which is kind of annoying. One time I went again and they did not have specific chicken pieces which was also annoying as you couldn't select certain things on the menu. I love nandos as a whole franchise, but this particular location needs better management to solve these issues.

It's always good. If I want to eat where I know I will satisfied with the food, this is the place. Definitely a favourite. Seating is a bit low for tall people.

My favourite go to place for flamed grilled chicken. Coming from South Africa and having a Nandos that is reminiscent of home was a pleasant surprise as the flavours of the Chicken matched the familiar taste I had grown up with. I highly recommend Nandos for their flamed grilled chicken as well as their spicy paella with chicken and veg. You have the option of selecting your level of spice on the basting of the chicken alternatively you have a selection of sauces to choose from when dining in. The added plus is the efficiency of the staff, they are super amazing and attentive.

Besides some of the grumpy staff the meal is good.. staff way better in Porirua.. I guess the standard has dropped little in years I have known.. but still hands down good food as yet..

Can't go wrong with a cheeky Nandos. Fried halloumi and chicken ribs to start followed by chicken tenders and 1/2 a chicken with chips and a drink. Absolutely amazing flavour throughout. Quick and easy service combined with a great vibe throughout the restaurant. Highly recommend for anyone in Wellington

The classic pita is delicious - really good quality ingredients and great flavor. The pita bread, which is nice and soft, held the fixings without any problems or getting soggy. I added feta and hummus to mine and it was tasty. I wish I lived close to one because I'd go all the time.

A cheeky Nandos is never a bad choice, and this restaurant delivers just as well as the ones I've frequented in England. Delicious food, fast service, friendly staff, can't complain in the slightest. If I could splurge my wallet a bit more, I'd have gone for a slightly more filling meal, but no matter what you order, Nandos steps up to the plate to get you the best chicken available!

Best grilled chicken! Nando's hack, order a quarter or half chicken (or even a whole chicken depending on how hungry you are), with a side garden salad, and a pita bread. Open up the pita bread and stuff it with salads, de-boned meat from the grilled chicken, and add sauces of your liking (i usually use trio of bell pepper and vinaigrette). You may also order a perinaise mayo for your pita. Now you got your own recipe of a pita. =) Best way to stuff a hungry stomach.

Ambiente ist ok, Bedienung freundlich und recht schnell. Essen ist gut ich hatte einen Salat mit Hünchen.
