Almost anything on the menu can be made gluten free. Fast friendly service. Meals are nicely presented and tasty. Service is quick. We had poached eggs on toast with bacon. The eggs were runny as requested (yum), and the bacon was crispy. Was a bit too cool to sit in the internal courtyard today. It's always a nice option.

It’s my go-to place for nice food and relaxed environment. Recently my little granddaughters joined me and loved ‘the ladies’ lunch of their pizza and spaghetti and wee tacos

Excellent service. We asked for a table in the courtyard because of an immunocompromised guest and they gave us lots of space. The staff were friendly and patient. The food was excellent as was the on tap beer.

*Review Update...Booked a table for a work function. Communication was great. The table, and a special seating area were ready for us. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and assiduous in checking options for one of us with food allergies. We were able to pay individually too. Love this place!! Just popped in for a coffee (first visit) and was treated like a valued customer. The service was attentive and friendly. I did not order any food but the cabinet food, and the plates I saw emerging from the kitchen looked great. I will be back for a meal very soon.

There for lunch with a big party. Decor superb; service relaxed, efficient and, behind the masks, with a smile? Cheese burger, big breakfast and pizza excellent. I chose the crumbed fish tacos, the portion could have been a bit more generous. Otherwise an enjoyable occasion. Many thanks to the young staff.

Wow the food delishes, comfortable seatings indoor and outdoor available. Restroom area super clean. Every night there is a special, Wednesday burger night $21.00 burger and chips includes a glass of wine or a beer and for kids a free drink too. I want to rate this higher as I’ve had many many top quality Park Kitchen brunches - the vege breakfast is usually a winner. However our latest visit put a big dent in PK’s brunch hotspot rankings in my estimation... let’s talk about it. The first sign of trouble was the spoons. Instead of the usual sturdy Acme metal teaspoon that accompanies a trim cappuccino we were greeted with the chilling prospect of a wooden spoon. Childhood trauma aside, I can totally appreciate a wooden spoon in consideration of our environment, however this monstrosity was comprised of that untreated bamboo-like wood which is a textural nightmare. If you dare to lick this abomination you feel like you’re risking tongue splinters. Gah! The oral equivalent of fingernails on a chalk board or biting on tinfoil in your kebab. Please consider reverting to metal spoons. To add to the beverage issues, the coffee was over-roasted and too bitter to finish. I could forgive these issues if the food lived up to expectation, however the once-reliable vege breakfast has dipped in standard considerably in recent times. On this occasion most of the plated items were lukewarm. The hash brown was basically raw grated potato in the centre. And the tomatoes (the one scalding hot item) were cooked whole and unseasoned, rather than roasted halves with a generous sprinkle of pepper as we’ve had on previous occasions. I’m happy to give the kitchen another chance as I do love the location and the service is usually great.

Been here a few times, and love it. Cater well to kids in general, adult food is great. Had an amazing steak here last weekend. Steak was very flavoursome and well cooked. Perhaps a bit light on the gnocchi that came with it. Would probably want to add a side if not getting desert. Kids burger was great but very frugal fish with the kids fish n chips. Desert cheese cake was divine. Great miramar option.

Stopped in unplanned for lunch—my last lunch in Wellington prior to departing after a couple of marvelous weeks in New Zealand. . Loved the decor, the service was good and the food wonderful. Food prepared fresh for each order. I had the pork meat pie of the day with a salad. The crust was a work of perfection and the pork with various vegetables flavored just perfectly for my taste. I would definitely come here again if I lived locally.

First time here and i loved it. Next time i will try the outdoor seating, they look gorgeous under the sun. About the food, theyhave gluten free and vegan selections, steaks sandwiches are nice, salads are fabulous and for kids i ordered fish n chips (never fails). Tried their coffee and desserts too, and definitely coming back next time we visit Weta or stroll around Miramar.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself here, the selection of beverages is excellent and the menu is extensive and food does not take long to be delivered. The staff are amazing and I’m unsure how anyone could complain about service given the size of the place. The coffee was also stellar, can’t beat it. Superbly well present restaurant and food. Every dish to come out looks better than the last. And the cabinet offerings look like cakes worthy of Marie-Antoinette. Great big dining room suitable for large groups, Park kitchen also boasts a large sun-drenched out door area ideal for summer day-drinking. The bar has strong game with a wide range of in-house beers in tap, complemented by many craft beer options from across NZ. These are backed up by excellent a and international wines and a wholly devoted spirits menu. Go here for afternoon drinks and convince yourself to start for dinner.

Three of us popped in here for lunch on a Monday. Excellent green curry pie. Coffee v good. While the food & coffees were great, the service was pretty average. Water glasses were not topped up. Had to call waiter over to order coffees. We were never asked if we were happy with our meals. Also had to ask for cutlery (spoons) to finish of the last of the curry, which was delicious). Would have been 5* but service let them down.

Great laid out place with large tables and plenty of seating. Cheerful staff that do well at keeping things running. Can be packed and crazy but that's Wellington dining at the good places. PK has a good menu! I had a medium rare steak which was spot on but it needed a side salad at least for a full meal. The alcohol list is comprehensive. Seating is ample but perhaps reserve to be sure of a table without waiting.

Just had the best meal since arriving in NZ. Flew into Aukland 4 days ago and tonight we are in Wellington. Had the duck breast with asparagus and brussel sprouts. Amazing dinner. Amazing food both entrees and mains ... so good. Magic menu and drinks selection. Desert menu perhaps a bit bland. Kitchen a little bit uncoordinated on the delivery and timing, which with kids at the table nearly cost us our evening ... but all in all very nice. We'll be back for round two.

No other place in Wellington (probably New Zealand) does mushroom and truffle oil pizzas like Park Kitchen. Not only are they the best, they are consistently the best. There were 11 of us tonight and Mondays are 'two for one' pizza nights (excellent value) so we ordered 8 pizzas, thinking we could take the leftovers home. Haha - what leftovers? Too bad it would be impolite to demolish a mushroom pizza on my own. Lovely fries with aioli, tasty cider and gelato trios for dessert - while the 7 year old enjoyed ice cream with sprinkles and a doughnut. Consistently great food, minimal wait, pleasant and professional staff - what a great night! Thank you Andrew and team 😊

Flat out busy for lunch today so the food took a little while. Great service. The interior is very nice, looks smallish from the street but there's lots of room inside. Food was good, I'm not a big fan of beans with the breakfast. I'm sure they would change beans for something else if I had asked. I would definitely go again.

Sadly very slow service was the dominant memory. We tried booking for 6/6.30 and were told 7pm would be better. Even then we waited well over an an hour for our main meals to arrive (not all together). Food was delicious, but not good enough to override the excessive wait and contemplate returning.

Over the last few months, in life during pandemic, Park Kitchen became our every other week pizza place. The crusts are delightful, the servers are really nice, and it's always so pleasant. Once there was a small issue with an order and they took care of us next time around, no fuss. It also holds a special place in our hearts because we came here on the weekends to recover during the months of house-hunting and always felt better after a treat and a coffee.

Slightly miserly serve of milk with tea, but it was quickly refilled on request. I really enjoyed the hazelnut torte - really intriguing, well-balanced flavours, and not at all over-sweet: I recommend a try.

This was a recommendation from our Airbnb hosts, and we were not disappointed! The food was great - we each ordered the vegetarian burger. We've tried quite a few, but this was by far the best we've ever had! We lucked out that the burgers were part of their daily special, so it was rather affordable too. They also brew their own beers and the restaurant generally has a pretty cool vibe. Overall, pretty darn good, worth a try if you are staying near the airport!

One of two occupied tables in the entire cafe for a late lunch and we had been waiting over 40 minutes for our food (the pot pie and a side of flatbread). Eventually after bringing it up with the wait staff they responded very well to make up for the atypically slow service. Everyone is entitled to an off day - their food was excellent (pork pot pie was fantastic), and we'll definitely come back to try their other options.

So the scones are lovely and the breakfast is adequate and the staff is pleasant. They can't get ripped off as you order and pay at the counter. Maybe its just a daytime thing which lots of cafes do. But it seems to market itself as something a little higher up the food chain. So all good but if I'm paying those higher rates, please give me the full service I paid for...

Would give this place 4.5 if I could. Came down here for dinner with some mates on a lovely evening. The place wasn't too crowded and we were very quickly seated. The service and atmosphere were both excellent. But why am I not giving this 5 stars? I ordered a cheeseburger, which was alright, but I just personally didn't think it was too good value for money. The quality of the burger was good but I was expecting a little bit more.

Fantastic food and service. The only negative was we used a gift voucher and the bill came in $4.50 under the voucher. They have a policy of no change if the difference is under $10. If I paid with cash I would have been given change. So I recommend for the food but don't buy a voucher.

It is personal taste if you like this restaurant but I find it too busy with lots of hard surfaces making it noisy and cafeteria like. I had the schnitzel it was dry with out sauce or gravy. The service was poor with staff busy cleaning up and never asked if we wanted desert. We have been here before and avoid it if we can but our granddaughter chose it.
