C.There's something charming about a small Italian restaurant tucked away somewhere, and il piccolo is just this. Very small but intimate dining experience. Perfect for a quiet dinner with a date, or an evening with friends.

Best Italian food I’ve ever had! Having been to Italy, I was rather surprised to find Piccolo’s surpassed every other Italian restaurant I’ve been to. Utterly lovely atmosphere and service. The food was delicious. Our starter of the bread and pesto/tomato dip was exquisite. Our pizzas came out smelling divine and tasted even better.
Left a $50 tip and I still don’t think I conveyed how much I enjoyed the meal. Very much intending to go again, and I have a dear friend who I am planning on taking here in 2021.
S.Had an impromptu dinner here a few nights ago with a group of four. Loved it. If you're after cheap eats, tasty pasta or pizza or both, with super friendly service, and some retro vibes, this place is for you! Not suprised at the other GREAT reviews for this place. Highly recommend.

Note: I recently ordered from Piccolo through Ubereats and a couple of diet coke cans had been forgotten. The manager was kind enough to deliver them to me himself. MOST places would play the blame game.

K.We have been here numerous times and absolutely loved it. However our last meal was somewhat disappointing. The soup was half the size it usually is. We were given teaspoons instead of soup spoons. Can't help but wonder if this was done to make us feel 'fuller'. Was also shocked to pay $8.50 for a single scoop of coffee ice-cream. On a positive note, the pasta and pizza were really good and still a reasonable price.
J.Cute little room which felt really cosy. But personally, I felt the pizzas were comparable to frozen McCains, like, they're ok but not what you go out to a pizza place for.. so couldn't help but feel disappointed. Service was a bit slow too

Great customer service, great food, down once a week from Auckland and never fail to get food from here as its always great flavors. Staff really friendly prices definitely worth the food. Even stayed open 30minutes late for us to pick up our order tonight. 100% reccomend A++++++ MOVESTUFF LTD

Come here if you want somewhere intimate, cosy, quirky and fun. Come if you want to see a menu where the most expensive thing is $18. Come for delicious, hearty, home-cooked style Italian food. Come with your own wine and enjoy saving even more money with BYO ($6 a bottle corkage - worth it)!
Don't come here if you're pretentious or are expecting haute-cuisine for these prices.

l.Great sauces with the food and a garlic bread second to none. Owners could possibly use some training in restaurant basics though. How can you possibly run out of all chicken dishes?
A.The Pane con olio (dipping bread with tomato pesto and olive oil) is delicious! I like the Italian white wine too. The deco and atmosphere of the restaurant provide a comfortable feel.
