C.Really cool, home of the bank bencher tv show. Great deals to be had, I had an amazing burger and beer! Fun satire political dig at nz politics as well! A must visit if you are ever in Wellington
k.Well on a cold Wellington night I would expected it to be a lot warmer inside, you know it's not just you when you see others putting their coats on during their meal. As for the food I would give it just an ok,I am sure there is plenty of other places around that are warmer and have nicer meals. My opinion only.
j.Nice place, friendly staff, we had the journos platter and was enough to eat for the three of us and all nice and tasty. My 3 stars represents that I’d never return, the lack of a premium draft lager meant there was no draft for me to drink and I don’t like hoppy beers and macs gold and Steinlager are not my cup of tea.
N.Great place and staff - some really good food here and a regular place we visit. It’s too bad some protestors have decided they don’t like it when businesses stand in support of their staff and are writing bad reviews…
S.A fun pub with nice bar food. 3D caricature politicians on the walls add to the great atmosphere.
S.Amazing fun decor.Beautiful well cooked food and well priced.I had the pork belly which had a particularly good rhubarb relish.The steak was generously sized and came with heaps of veges.The chocolate dessert balanced with vanilla gelato and tangy berries was the perfect finish.I am absolutely going back when next in Wellington.
F.above average food quality & service. that's why we have been there twice in last 3 - 4 months. also the Parliament is just cross road. it is very nice to have an relax walk after meal when weather is OK.
T.We had a great time here, went on a Sunday night so it was relatively quite. Service was good and we weren't waiting long to receive our meals. We could barely finish the desert as we were so full.
My only complaint is we had trouble contacting them over the phone and had to book online. Not a big deal in the end...
L.Gotta get the Wellongton on a plate cocktail... espresso Martini w chocolate and raspberry... accompanied by a shot of chocolate mousse... divine 😍
G.Was nothing Special. Food was OK, atmosphere good, the political satire on wall fun. A bit chaotic the day we went but food and drinks came fast.
