J.Authentic Korean restaurant offering a good selection of anju. They also have a good selection of flavours of korean fried chicken which were very delicious. Unfortunately we were seated right at the back where the arcade is at and it was so noisy that it was hard to have a conversation. Would recommend getting a table towards the front of the restaurant where it is quieter.

My wife and daughter are big Korean-Culture fans so we decided to try this place out. They have a good variety of food but I recommend going here early and in a group. The place gets packed early.
We had the Zzan Combo of Original and Garlic Spicy chicken. Safe to say - we are satisfied. It's as good as it looks. We also had peach Soju but I would suggest to go for beer. With the amount of servings, I believe a pitcher would do justice. By the way, don't be afraid to ask for side, they are amazing.
The only thing I would complain is the floor. Not sure what's wrong but the ambience is authentic. I just get distracted walking around on a slippery surface.
We'll definitely be back to try out their other meals.
S.Good food. Great selection of food that you don't see in a typical Korean restaurant. And the sharing portions are actually quite huge! Had to wait nearly an hr for the food though but besides that I'll say it's worth the wait
A.Let me start off by saying how excited I was to try this place. We made a booking for 6 people and only ordered 3-4 things between us. Stuff kept coming out with large gaps in timing and staff kept bringing us the wrong order. We had to cancel one of the orders because everyone had eaten and it was taking more then 30 minutes to prepare. The food itself was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant/bar was really cool. I would come back again in a few months when hopefully the staff are fully trained (I know everyone is new and they’re trying hard but this is just my opinion) and everything is running smoothly. Also the floor is extremely slippery.
L.New Korean resto in Wellington, very busy would suggest making a booking. Food was delicious, reasonably price and decent serving. They have a small arcade and karaoke booth too. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

T.Food came fast today but it was a bit saltier than the last time I ate. I don’t usually leave a review and but the 5-star is for the lovely lady who served our table, I think she wears pink shirt with a bit short hair. The service from her is definitely the highlight. She’s friendly, and super helpful and quick and totally brought a great energy to our table.

This place is absolutely DELICIOUS! The deep-fried sweet and spicy chicken is my personal favorite. The soy and garlic chicken has a very authentic Korean flavor.The chicken is deep fried and has a crispy taste that is delightful.
The portions are great so definitely bring some friends and share a few plates among the group. I would strongly recommend this place to people who like authentic Korean food. You won't regret it!

J.Didn't have any of the service issues others have mentioned in their reviews, either we were lucky or they have improved. The fried chicken was the start of the show, super tasty and crispy. Will go back another time and try the karaoke and games!

First of all, I am a big fan of korean fried chicken, it’s one of my fav foods! Yesterday I got some Zzan fried chicken takeaway, to see if the hype is true. Nice crunch and it was very much giving flavour. I also got some japchae which was also pre good, nice selection of side dishes that came with it. Price was ngl kinda expensive for fried chicken but I think if u go in person the price will be worth it (w all the arcade games n stuff). Overall great food but if you wanna go in person, book early in advance as it’s always full 👍
L.My family and I went to Zzan on a Friday night. Beautiful hospitality was given from the staff & the food was so good. We order the ZZAN combo which was amazing & then got original, sweet & spicy & soy + mayo boneless chicken - all so delicious & we didn't wait for very long too. We had so much fun in karaoke ($2 a song).
C.Great atmosphere, great food (spicy T_T), staff was a bit inexperienced but its expected with them just opening.
Definitely a great place to hang out, eat excellent Korean food, maybe down a couple of shots while your at it. Tables are a bit small however so I wouldn't recommend going with more than 6 people total.

M.Really good food and awesome set up just guttered about the customers service. We stood around for almost 20 minutes while the guy behind the counter finished his drink with no mask on and walked back and forth between the kitchen and counter before making the effort to sit us down. We had to approach him 3x before asking the female waiter about having a table. She was good and obviously busy with other orders but the the guy server was quite unprofessional and inexperienced to be running such a busy place. Would still come back for the food cause that was really good especially their fried chicken.

B.been here twice and it never disappoints. I always get the sweet and spicy korean friend chicken and it hits the spot!!! Their army pot is also so tasty and good! On a cold rainy day, the soft tofu pot will make you super warm and it tastes sooo nice. The aesthetic and vibe is also nice! Wait time was pretty fast, we were pretty hungry and didn’t have to wait long which was awesome. The service is really good the staff are friendly and I can’t recommended this place enough!

J.I had read all the reviews so I thought to help staff achieve the time they wanted us off tables, I suggested we pre-order. I was suppose to email all our dishes to the email. said email did not work. . 1st impression on the phone: accomodating friendly and welcoming. 2nd impression, great communication 3rd on food delivery, they delivered in a timely manner! 10.mins max waiting time for everything. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Softly spoken and humble. Food was fresh, hot and deeelicious.
C.Good fried chicken and big shared plates however we waited for an hour for the food, as they didn’t seem to have enough staff on given the place was packed. Enjoyed the coin karaoke and other games they had.
S.The food here is great but felt it was quite overpriced for what you get in some of the dishes. Be prepared for loud music too. Service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

L.Great food and great vibes! We had the beef gopchang, sweet and spicy fried chicken and the kkanpungki. Recommend all of the above! And I highly recommend the kkanpungki if you're looking for something that has a bit of a (spicy) kick.
Looking forward to going back to try all the other dishes! So happy there's a new korean place in town!
Also recommend checking out the arcade and karaoke area while waiting for your food :)

Chicken and stone pot bibimbap were good.
The beef gopchang hotpot had no odor.
Whole Squid Jjamppong has no noodles.
If you want to eat it as a meal, we recommend adding udon noodles or rice.
The whole squid jjambbong was very salty, so I poured a lot of water and made it again.
I love that there is a new Korean pub in Wellington.
I've been here three times, and there's not one or two things that bothered me.
The chopsticks are not set on the table spoon.
When the food came out, I asked for chopsticks.

The grilled bulgogi that came out first was all cold and I had to eat it.
The serving staff is seriously inexperienced.
The store seems to have hit the jackpot as soon as it opened.
The staff feel completely unprepared.
A Korean man works almost alone.
There seems to be a communication problem between the staff, such as coming back to pick up an order even after placing an order.
This is not to say that foreign countries want services like Korea.
Considering that this is a Korean restaurant in a foreign country, I have visited many times with affection, and I am truly sorry.
I hope more than anyone else that my feedback will be taken into account and the jackpot will be even greater.

There are many customers and few staff, so it is very difficult to connect by phone.
I made a reservation over the phone and checked twice, but the reservation was not made.
I made a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night.
It's not on the reservation list, so I'll take it first, so I ask you to leave at 9.

치킨, 돌솥비빔밥 괜찮았고요.
소곱창전골도 잡내가 없었어요.
통오징어짬뽕에는 면이 없습니다.
식사로 드실 분들은 우동사리나 밥을 추가하는걸 추천해요.
통오징어짬뽕은 매우 짜서 물을 많이 부어 다시 만들어 먹었어요.
웰링턴에 한국 호프집이 새로생긴게 참 좋아서
세번을 방문했는데 답답한게 한두가지가 아닙니다.
테이블 수저통에는 젓가락 셋팅이 안되어 있어서
음식이 나올때 젓가락을 부탁했는데,
젓가락을 먼저 가져다 주는게 순서임에도
추가 요리와 함께 나오니,
먼저 나온 석쇠불고기는 다 식어서 먹게 되었어요.
서빙하는 직원분들이 심각하게 미숙합니다.
가게는 오픈하자마자 소위 말해 대박을 친거 같은데
직원들은 준비가 전혀 안된 느낌이예요.
한국 남자분이 거의 혼자 일하십니다.
주문했어도 또 주문 받으러 온다던지, 직원분들간에 소통의 문제가 있어보여요.
외국에서 한국같은 서비스를 바라고 하는 말이 아닙니다.
외국에 생긴 한국식당이라는 것을 감안하여 애정을 가지고 여러번 방문했는데 진심으로 안타깝습니다.
