F.I live in West Auckland have a rental up in Kaitaia have family in Hokianga and on the way home after a hard weekend, we stopped here for Butter Chicken & Rogan Josh (wish I'd done it years ago) we got home the food was at perfect temperature and u packed and hD dinner, awesome cook, perfect amount of spices and chicken that taste like chicken! It was good enjoyed our meal well worth the wait till you get home 🏡. Recommend to everyone

Butter Chicken Box is delicious and so reasonably priced. A very welcome break from State Highway 1.
We thought it would be terrible because it's attached to a service station. BUT WE WERE WRONG.
If I lived locally, I'd definitely visit again.
L. H.Easily the best Samosa I've had for a long time. We were just making a toilet stop at Wellsford and the food looked so good we had to try something. The rest of the dishes on display looked really good as well. We will be back.
W. S.Service wasn't the best, but one of the ladies on at the time was very nice and I thanked them for a good meal. The Beef Curry was quite tasty and spicy, and at $12 I guess the quantity was ok. The restaurant is very "street" feeling: not very tidy and the table and chairs crammed, menu board filled like a typical takeaway.
I had asked for prices for takeaway, and I thought I was told $10; when I asked how much to eat in, it went up to $12, but I could see that I wasn't getting anything more considering the size of the takeaway box. And it's not like there's any upside to dining in, except not contributing to plastic waste! Shouldn't we be paying less since by dining in we're helping save the company cut down on buying more plastic containers?
I was also asked if I wanted a combo of curry dish with naan bread and a coke. I said "I don't drink fizzy drinks." "Would you like some naan bread?" "No, I'm gluten-free." And that was that.
S. P.Ive been to India and this is easily the best vindaloo I have had in NewZealand. Naan was cooked on the spot. Rice was a little dry but tasty as!
