A.Had a great dinner here. Food was fabulous, staff worked very hard looking after all of us. Good atmosphere and good service, Food, a good feel of Cuba. Will come again.
T.Excellent!! Amazing food, made with fresh local ingredients, creating delicious Cuban / Latin plates of happiness. Even though they were short staffed and dealing with red alert restrictions the owner was super friendly and helpful. Appreciated the child friendly service and 'free ice cream'. The Castro cigar dessert is genius. Great finish to our week in the region.
E.Fantastic, friendly and tasty restaurant in central Whakatane. We had a lovely meal of ceviche, empanadas, fish tacos and tortilla chips, from the really varied menu. Really friendly staff and affordable too.

A.Fantastic setting and lovely, friendly staff. Recommend the Cigars oh n the Mojitos sounded like they hit the spot
D.Second time in this restaurant. First time a little disappointed and second time was better. Biggest negative for me was not a relaxed atmosphere. Restaurant was not that busy but the staff were in a hurry. I think the owner/ manager just needs to think about how this can spoil dinner for someone who is trying to relax and enjoy the visit.

S.Had dinner on last night of our stay in Whakatane and wished we had found it sooner! Cool old building and great staff but the food was the highlight. If you want different, tasty, well cooked food and great Mojitos then this is the place. Wish it was in the Tron, lucky Whakatane!
