P.Awesome awesome again Popsies!!! Especially with NZ going into lockdown yous did awesome food as always is hot and fresh!! Delivery service is on point too!! Second time using the service bloody amazing!
A.Naan was good, kids butter chicken was VERY sweet and the traffic light was made with fanta (have only ever seen them made with orange juice) - menu should say it's made with fizzy drink as none of my kids drank it. Prawn malabari was ok, definitely order indian hot if you like it hot as I ordered hot and it was mild at best. Mixed starter platter was yum

Really enjoyed the samosas, i have never tried samosas not from a frozen microwave meal, so that was really nice. They were vegan as well
The portions are very generous, and the prices are reasonable. The food tasted fresh and homemade. I wish there were more vegan options on the menu, however they were happy to make daal makhani dairy free
Would definitely come back to try other meals on the menu, it was a good experience

S.Always had great food and service from you guys. This time however you must have a trainee chef on? Butter chicken had six bits of chicken and very very runny sauce. Naan bread smaller than usual and The samosas were very dry and not to their usual high yummy standard. We will order online again as we know this isn’t your ‘normal’.
K.Had the $11 lunch meal great deal for any curry of your choice, plain naan, and rice and papadam. Meals are nice lovely spices garlic chicken although a little hot for my taste bubs (mild) was still delicious will definitely dine here again. Staff and nice and friendly.
D.Food is great, but the place is starting to need a good clean, eg, dirty menus, water bottle caps black mold, kids sticky hand prints on poles inside, floor not that clean,
R.This place is fantastic. The Mango Chicken was devine. Very attentive staff and a great choice on the menu. I couldn't fault it. Go there, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

D.Very pleasant Jalfrezi with just the right kick & a hearty portion size. Very friendly staff, with the food only taking 15 mins to arrive. It's not on the Strand but only 1 minute walk behind new world and The Warehouse so not an issue at all

T.Great service with a smile, great Indian food -there's all sorts and something for everyone and the heat to suit the brave chilli pepper eaters. If you love hot spiced food, then Popsies is the go. A great quiet place to dine out restaurant style.
C.Food and serving size was amazing and prices are really good. Only advice would be to get some uniforms for your staff... our servers had on a casual cardigan and a Bright green raincoat. Also the silverware looked like it was from Kmart, a bit beaten up, but again the food was great.

D.Actually a very nice curry and a great meal deal for lunches....around $12 for a curry, rice, naan and a can of fizz, or you can ungraded for a few extra bucks so a great deal. Enjoyed and will return next time we are in Whakatane. Service excellent too.
I.I recommend this restaurant to anybody who has a taste for mild or spicy food, the customer service is exceptional and very professional. The workers are well presented and the atmosphere is Devine. I would rate more stars if I could, every time I have dined here my meals have been served hot and the aromas that drift to my nose is astounding. The food is delicious and I am a regular customer now ☺️🤤👍🏼🥂🍛🥘
M.My husband and I dined at Popsies on a recent trip to Whakatane. We just wandered in off the street and ordered lunch. My husband and I have eaten a lot of Indian food over the years (we're both over 50), and I have to say it was the best Indian food we've tasted, and that's no exaggeration. We're due to go back in about a month, and we will definitely be going back. The service was great, too, and it was a very friendly environment.
m.My son loves their butter chicken so we come here all the time. Tonight was his birthday and the lovely team shouted him a birthday cake and fizzy drink!
Their service is always polite and accomodating, the atmosphere is casual and calm yet bright and open, welcoming and child friendly.
The FOOD is AMAZING and it's CHEAP!! It's always well presented, hot, tasty and filling. Try it. You won't be disappointed :)

S.Just had a fabulous lunch here . Mum and Dad both had Chicken Korma and I had Chicken Dhanshak which were all delicious. The Naan were beautiful light and crispy /soft. Presentation was perfect, staff were polite and professional and to top it off the lunch special was an absolute bargain!!!

J.Had a fantastic takeaway meal tonight, we are vegetarians and were happy to see a whole menu page dedicated to veggie curry goodness! The Butter Paneer was divine and the Veggie Korma was bliss! We also ordered the vege banquet starter for two which had some tasty morsels including a deep fried battered price of paneer which I had never seen or tasted before. The staff were friendly and we were not kept waiting long either. Will definitely be back to get some amazing tastes of India the next time we are in Whakatane.
