G.Delicious Indian cuisine and lovely staff. Hardly any wait time for food even when the restaurant is busy. We go every year on our family holiday and we aren’t disappointed!
M.No other restaurant we've visited offers Indian cuisine of such high quality and authenticity when preparing the dishes. Kafal has an excellent menu, with every choice being perfectly prepared and so moreish that you'll never want your meal to end. The staff are superb, the restaurant is very comfortable to be in and you'll enjoy your dining experience for sure. We LOVE Kafal :-)
A.You can eat authentic Indian food here. We’ve tried so many Indian restaurants in Auckland, but this place offers you fantastic food than those in Auckland. Highly recommended. The manager/owner is such a friendly guy. Thanks for the lovey service😀

V.Delicious food and great service! We dined over beach hop (and have ordered takeaway a couple of times before), despite being extremely busy the food was very tasty, good portions for price, and spice levels were just right for what we ordered. A firm favourite when in Whangamata.

I had called Kafal at 9:28pm, 2 minutes before closing and they were kind enough to stay open for me. Highly recommend

P.Just ordered butter chicken and chicken korma. Excellent service as we got it delivered at home. Only had to wait 15 mins when informed 40 mins. The meal was great.
We had walked past the restaurant earlier today and one of the staff was at the door opening up and was plesant and greeted us with a big smile.

r.Everything was beyond stunning, best Indian cuisine we've ever had. Service was top quality, generous portions and beautiful presentation. We ordered the malai kofta, butter chicken, garlic and cheese naan bread, and chicken tikka which was served on a sizzling hot plate when it arrived at our table. All the dishes were amazing, also the drinks we ordered were superb. Truly a night we'll never forget, easily 5 stars.

T.On holiday for a week and found this restaurant on our first night here. Had Butter chicken and Lamb Saag. Both were absolutely divine, but in particular, the sauce/gravy for the Butter Chicken is “to die for”. Tonight is our last night, before we head home tomorrow, and just ordered a couple of dishes, to take home with us, for dinner tomorrow!!
M.I was recommended Kafal by the local community as a great restaurant in the area also offering BYO. The booking was made for a party of six and we were warmly greeted from the moment we entered the restaurant. The table was beautifully set and service was super friendly and efficient. The food was beautiful - we ordered a selection of dishes and breads to share - highly recommend the butter chicken!! The food was also great value for money and we will definitely be back when in Whangamata!

m.This is my favourite take out & dine in spot in Whangamata & I've been here four years now. Lovely staff, delicious and flavoursome meals and everything tastes just as good when you take it home! (Should quietly mention I eat here AT LEAST once a week, still my fave) Couldn't recommend more highly!

R.Being an indian, finding indian food in foreign countries is kinda tough task. But I was fortunate to find Kafal Indian Cuisine which served delicious and scrumptious varieties of Indian food. Food was price worthy and very yummy. It was worth the price and the plus point was their service. All the staff members are very kind and will greet you with a smile. Anjum was one of their kind members who served us really well and made our dining very comfortable.
I totally recommend this place when you want to have good delicacies of india. Kudos to your team guys!!✌✌
B.This place was amazing, it was one of two restaurants open and we came in right before they closed. They were nice enough to seat us and we had one of the best dinners we’ve had in New Zealand. Service was amazing, food was just as good and overall a great experience.
R.We ate here last night and thoroughly recommend the chicken kadai and the vegetable anarkali. The Anarkali in particular is worth giving a go - chef's own dish, never seen it anywhere else - mushrooms, baby poratoes, brocolli and paneer in a very tasty onion curry sauce. Rice comes with all mains, breads good too and staff couldn't have been nicer. If we were local this place and its Anarkali would be our 'go to'.
N.Was a nice fairly basic Indian restaurant but the food we had was super tasty and the service was really nice and friendly even tho it was a super busy Saturday evening. Would definitely recommend. 😍
R.I can say one, two, three till thousand times really authentic Indian restaurant with nice aroma. Really better dishes. I really want something like this every day. Prices are wonder tales can be reduced little . I have tasted my real home food here. Kafal is a legend.
R.I was craving a warm meal and my husband suggested Indian on our trip to Whangamata. The manager was very welcoming and attentive. I ordered a spicy vindaloo. As soon as I dipped my naan bread in the sauce my mouth begun to water, the spice was amazing! My husband ordered a butter chicken, boy was it creamy and delicious.

D.The food here was gorgeous. We had a chana masala (chick pea curry) that was beautiful, as well as paneer makhani, which was to die for! We matched it with two cheese naan, and rice was included. Add in 2 bottles of Corona each and all in all came to around $70. Well worth it for the price. There was more than enough food for the two of us.
