T.Best pizza in Whangamata hands down. Keep calm if you are here over summer. Huge waits due to its popularity with those in the know. If you are going to eat in always pays to ask how long wait will be for takeaway as you don't get to front of que by dining in so that will be a good guage. Outstanding service tho and epic pizzas!!
J.Super friendly staff. Had the seafood linguine which was well supplied with seafood. Staff checked satisfaction throughout the night.

N.We went to Nero's last night, as we are nearing the end of our time in whangamata and wanted to go somewhere a bit special - Nero's came highly recommended.
We were greeted with a smile as we walked in the door and that great service remained throughout the evening. The lady who served us was attentive but not overbearing.
We started off with a cocktail each, the margherita was delicious albeit small, and the negroni was average, but that did not carry through to the delicious food that came next.
The baked camembert was creamy and delicious, the pate with port wine jelly and pickles were a match made in heaven, and the thai green curry mussels were so damn good I was drinking the broth at the end.
These 3 entrees/sharing plates were enough for the 2 of us, and with the 2 cocktails came to less than $100 which was reasonable for an above average restaurant, so all in all we left very happy. Thanks Nero's we will come back if in Whangamata again.

l.Lovely pizza a 1/2 and 1/2 Moroccan Lamb and Spicy Mediterranean great flavors + a garlic and caramelized onion pizza bread + a fab wine and very friendly young staff

The seafood chowder was creamy and full of seafood, delicious! Lamb shanks were good. Mussels were big and plump and yum. Lovely service. Warm humming atmosphere.
H.Have been here on several occasions for pizza takeaway. A number of times the pizza has been lacking effort. Won't be returning. 3 stars are for the great pizza we had a few times. Freindly staff, just wish the pizza was consistently great. As for our last pizza, big, bland chunks of chicken. I'd like to see you try serving that to Gordon Ramsay.

B.Great Pizzas. Had the Tandoori chicken and Chicken & Cranberry. They were very good. Tandoori was just a tad too dry. Still tasted great. Fantastic service. The restaurant was full. The pizzas and drinks still came in a reasonable time. Yum.

S.All I can say about Nero is l LOVE LOVE LOVE everything I ate here. want to say customer service 5+ too the chef 5+ aswell so if you ever in Whangamata u won't be disappointed.
P.Very good food but don't go on a Saturday night, it is a very slow service. Had to wait quite a long time even for kids menu
