Seriously yummy takeaways. I ordered loaded fries (waffle fries so nice) and Juarez burger very tasty. Nice and clean, very friendly staff. Highly recommend this as a takeaway option .

Best burger I have ever had. And I eat a lot of burgers. Its a shame I live 400km away. Or would eat there everyday. To add the that. The the fella that took the order, not sure if he just works there or owned the place was a top bloke. Funny too.

Delicious. Crazy good flavor combos, beautiful food and excellent customer service. Really yummy burgers and loaded fries, worth the $. (Nearly lost a finger helping my son with his burger he loved it SO MUCH he couldn't eat it fast enough, and said bye to it when he finished 😆)

As a proud burger loving North American, this made my worldwide top 5 burger list. Right in Indonesian, who would of known. Keep it classic and order the Cartel burger with blue cheese dip on the side.

A very long wait on a Friday evening, but a good Haloumi burger

Fantastic attention to detail for our takeaway vege/vegan burgers. Great value with fries included to make each one a satisfying meal. We visited on a Weds evening, and within a few mins we had selected from their admittedly small but comprehensive menu. The chap taking our order had welcomed us when we arrived, and helpfully liaised between the kitchen and our ‘is it...’ questions. They were not that busy so it was only 10 mins or so before we were driving away with our take away meals, which by the way were all wrapped in easy to recycle cardboard packaging. The aromas drifting from the bag were a well met promise of what was to come. One brief alert here though, watch the handles of the bags as ours broke upon exiting the car - but luckily the precious contents didn’t come to a premature end! When we did safely open the bag, we found everything was in there, unique waffle fries, big, actually huge, buns - so big in fact that a quick engineering assessment suggested cutlery was the best approach. Like I say we both had the vege "Sinaloa" option, and one was prepared without cheese to be vegan. The patties were perfectly cooked and tasted great - and like a well conducted orchestra, they were not alone in providing the music to our taste buds, where fittingly at times during the meal other parts came delightfully to our attention - some memorable performances were the sauces, the melt in the mouth onion relish, a symphony of shredded lettuce, and the kettle drums of bun giving it all a rhythm. But like an orchestra the performers, or rather cooks, of this performance were unseen in their kitchen, but deserving of an encore! I also apologise I didn’t take a picture of the burgers, but it would have felt as disruptive to do so as a cell phone snapping away in front of you at a concert! With the fries providing a supporting melody of crunch, this was a good length of meal, satisfying and dancing on the side of fullness. Finally like some great tunes you hear, my taste buds have retained the tune of the Burger Cartel experience, and so we will need to keep returning to play it again!

Great food great service nothing I can fault at all.

Got the 10 dollar burger and chips. Fries were nice and hot and just right amount of salt which was great. Guy who took order was friendly food came out fairly quickly Burger was of a good size and tasted very good. I would have added a sprinkling of salt with it however i ordered takeaway so my bad. Overall great experiene 5/5 would recommend

Oh my gosh. Yum. Travelling from out of town, we were told that we should visit here for good burgers. They were beyond good - they were great! Delicious, fresh, great flavour, great service, great vibe - just all round great. The guy was super friendly and helped us out when we couldn’t decide what to order. Oh, and they have kombucha with vodka - yum! If we lived in NZ, we would definitely be regulars here...!

Great food friendly staff member that served up. Value for money. Filling well presented burgers. Little bit cold in the seating area. But would recommend people try this place for great tasting gourmet burgers.

A great place to hang out and have a coffee and food. I loved the atmosphere and the service was top notch, very approachable. Didn't have a burger unfortunately, so I'll update when I do. They looked great though!

Wasn't disappointed. Deliciously moreish, both hubby and I were full after having eaten. Generous full burgers full of flavor ( I loved the pablo escaban!! ) and tasty lattice work fries. Loving that no plastic containers or bags in sight either. Paper bags and cardboard burger n fries containers for the win.

This is the kind of life we need here in Whanganui funny little vibey food places, if you're down for a good laugh and the best burgers in town I definitely recommend Burger Cartel 😚👌

Small place but with big enthusiasm. We try two different burgers and loaded fries and it was really great. This place is perfectly enough what you want from burger restaurant.

Delicious Burger etc we shared the beef smoked chedder 'Los zetas' Burger and fries, got a side of mozzarella sticks and were given free chicken skins with dipping sauce. Friendly and funky decor.

Highly recommend the burger Juarez with waffle fries. Came all the way from Auckland to experience this and was not disappointed
