Jabies is insanely good- the best kebabs The pockets are a perfect lunch for me at a reasonable price plus they feel healthy. The man who works here is lovely. You can tell he cares for the company and customers.

Kebabs here are awesome, best I've had in nz. THIS IS A DONNER KEBAB!! you're not getting fresh chicken breast on your kebab you mugs. The manager (who is ironically named Donna 😂) isn't the friendliest lady but I can handle that if the food is as good as it is. If not for that 5 stars.

Usually not a big fan of Kebab and most of the Kebab I have tried throughout New Zealand were okay.. But this little tradition small Arabic Restaurant proves that Kebab 🥙 are extremely yummy and filling. They are very generous with the meat they put in. This has changed what Kebab means to me and its one of the best in New Zealand 🧡 well done. My second time to be back and looking forward to be coming back again soon.

Amazing service, the staff are overwhelmingly friendly and funny. The restaurant is really authentic and inviting with a great atmosphere. The food is fresh and gives an explosion of flavor from the first bite. They even have a loyalty card system which is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place and will be back again soon!

Solid kebabs, I only get falafel so can't comment on the meat versions. The falafel is delicious, they are consistent in their quality and I'd recommend checking them out. You can eat in or take away too which is nice, and the service is very friendly.

Tristan makes the best kebabs! Everything is so perfectly placed with the perfect amount of sauce so when you bite into it you get a bit of everything.. Love when he's working so I know the kebab will be fantastic. Awesome little shop and have lots of drink choices to go with your kebab ❤

Three of us had lunch there. Lamb doner kebabs with Turkish Coffee and wedges. Value for money. They serve thick slices of lamb with plenty of salads.

Awesome food. They do the best falafel hands down in nz. Really nice staff. It all just tastes great Well deserved 5 stars from me. Thnaks guys 4 days later still same great food. Sadly this time the kind cheerful gentleman were not there and Dona the duty manager served me. She unfortunately put off bad vibes and was just a bit rude tbh!

My last review 2 years ago was 3 stars. I must now amend to 5. The food is always great and today when I called/rung in, Donna was kind and pleasant to speak with. I appreciated that. The young man who served me was fantastic. I'll be back.

Food was very well presented and tasted delicious. But Donna was very rude and lacked customer service skills, my mother asked if the kebabs had cheese (as we were from out of town and usually have this at our regular). She said in a loud and sarcastic tone "we most certainly do not, we make real kebabs!". It made the situation very awkward. The fries were also over priced considering you got a small cup. Would likely not return despite the nice kebabs unfortunately.

Very happy with our meal, the place is well set out with a table stopping customers from getting too close the staff/food area. Their COVID code was easily accessible and easy to find. The staff were very friendly and i enjoyed the conversation i had with the gentleman that took my order, he was very friendly and helpful.

Disappointing. Last time we had food here it was sooo good. This time it was not. Meat was dry..rice was old..and the isklander plate was not as good as usual.. not olives or extras as I asked for..and wrong sauces. As theres another kebab place next door..I think either refind your juju or move on because you aren't gona have repeat customers.

Food is consistently great, all staff are very friendly and helpful except manager Donna. Seems generally very unhappy and snaps back at you for any request such as placing an order...i think i've experienced this every single time she has been working over several years that i have come in. It's the only thing that consistently lets the business down. Some training in how to speak/interact with customers would make purchasing food a more pleasant experience.

Owner takes alot of pride in his restaurant. I had a very fresh falafel. It is the first kebab that wasn't a wet mess at the bottom. Very friendly service.

Best Kebabs anywhere in New Zealand. Anyone who visits Wanganui or Bulls has to try Jabies! I have never been to any kebab shop anywhere else that is as good. One of Wanganui‘s best eateries.

Always good for a laugh, medicine for the soul, so is the food, fresh, delicious and the Ebony coffee produced right here in the Manawatu, Palmerston North is the best I've tasted, aromatic, strong full flavour and perky. You will always find me here!!!

Undoubtedly the best kebab place I've ever been too, Got a King size lamb Kebab, I can eat a lot of food but this kebab was absolutely massive stacked with lamb and vegetables. Incredible value for money and the customer service is next level. All the staff are very personable. Jared ( Hope that's the right spelling ) has got some seriously good skills. Thoroughly enjoyed it will definitely be back.
