B.It's essential to book - so popular that we had to eat in the bar area, which was still nice and had a great vibe. Good looking menu and would visit again to taste something different. Can handle groups especially well.

k.Maria lane is very classy and nice, with the drink menu being very good and the food available very fresh nice. Presentation of food is very high, and decor within eatery is also very nice. Always very clean and tidy, quick service. 5-5 and would recommend this for people wanting a nice drink and some quality food.

G.Ate here a week ago and was completely blown away. Great service. Cool Brooklyn vibe. Interesting and delicious choices on the menu (I had a vegan gluten free salad and was totally satisfied, go figure... ). Desert was equally good.

B.They were so understanding and lovely despite me having to make so many changes with the booking. Delicious banquet and they adjusted for 3 people being gluten free. They baked a cake special and when we asked for cream the chef was so quick to whip some up. Absolutely amazing can't wait to go back!

C.In the heart of Wanganui hidden behind large doors is a Mexican surprise.
Walking down the steps I felt like I was in Mexico the ambience is spot on with alfresco dining and the sparkle of small lighting Spread across the ceiling lighting the evening.
Unless I am deaf I could not hear Mexican music which is its only down fall.
No serenading by Julio Iglesias to be found.
Warm and inviting like the the staff I felt welcomed.
They offer non alcoholic cocktails and their Moscow mule is appetising.
The meals are small but I think the staff need to explain to customers that more than one should be ordered like tapas.
As not all diners understand
this.Just a thought.
I enjoyed my meal and experience and hope others will . Great place for romantic dinner or after work drinks.
C.Thanks 'Maria Lane' for an enjoyable evening. There was a great choice of delicious and fresh Mexican food.The staff were lovely & helpful.The decor was cool. Finding the restaurant was a little difficult but we persevered & managed to find out 'what's going on behind the brown door!'

D.What a Gem! Beautiful setting for a Friday arvo drink. We were not planning to stay for more than 1 drink and going to head up the road. Shared the Korean chicken as a snack, had to have an icy cold beer! Seriously lovely food, falafel also devine. We couldn't tear ourselves away. Espresso Martini was the best ever! I love the thought, love and care that Belinda, very friendly owner, has dreamt up and delivered! Well done. We will be back for more next time we are down this way. It a great place.
