Clean restaurant, friendly staff, occasionally my burgers are missing ingredients. I once recieved a cheese burger with no cheese, no pickles, no little onions and no mustard. I was hungry so I ate it. I know they would've replaced it, but I was comfy at home when I unwrapped my feast.

Been here a few times over the years and no complaints. My most recent trip the fries were stale and someone in the mc cafe made the milk scream endlessly. The covid setup, self serve kiosks, meal collection and public toilets are all great.

Good to stop in for a coffee fix or early morning breakfast if heading out, Palmy way. Drive thru can get full in evenings. Otherwise, good location and service.

Whanganui on a sunny hot Thursday and to cool down we called into Mc Donalds for ice cream sundaes. Drive through was busy but it didn't take too long. Staff were efficient and the sundaes were lovely and cold.

Sometimes when we come to McDonald's food is on point and some staff are lovely. Other times food can be cold, chips taste yuck and if you order milkshake or sundaes they get done before your order is made and it sits there till you get your order not great at all

While I find the service visiting the store brilliant, the delivery service lacks. We have had a poor experience with over half my order missing the first time and a portion still missing when they re delivered. Very disappointing.

Maccas!! Well I have been comeing here for past 20 years when the kids were younger, now all grown up I mostly come for the kiwi burger and hazelnut mocha! Coffee is nice but it does depend who is makeing it for most times it's been how I like it Xtra hot not too sweet, but other times not! Staff super friendly I have found over the years always polite and great service, I personally have had no problems with Maccas, but I have seen some customers give them a hard time and they have dealt with them pretty well in my opinion, like anything you cannot make everyone happy! Overall the food is good especially the burgers, buns always fresh, meat nicely cooked salads mostly fresh lol but these days I only go for my favourite burgers and coffee!

Pleasant staff and very helpful, plus the Hot Apple Tarts are really nice I would recommend them to everyone. We had a flight checked in, in Auckland for the following few minutes to go out to Palmerston North North and the tarts weren't quite ready to go, but they simply showed us to our seats and brought the food over when it was cooked, excellent,,, 👌🙏💖

So fast and easy to order with the touch screens in the main foyer. Plenty of room to sit and the playground is well laid out so you can eat while watching the little ones play. Food arrived within minutes of ordering, order was perfect and hot. Very pleased.

This McDonalds has gotten way better recently, wait times aren't as long and food is consistently good. Don't get old soggy fries anymore and afternoon / dinner service is just as good as the lunch service which is a great change!

It's Maccers, you know what you're getting. It was clean and well kept while we were there, there is a drive through. They got our order correct, and it was made promptly.

Deliciously sweet and savoury hotcakes. The atmosphere was amazing as I went for my breakfast snack. Great lighting and surround sound. Makes me want to take a dip in the deep fryer.

Good place to take the kids for a Happy Meal and play, while we enjoy a coffee & muffin. Always sit out in the playground area & its always been clean. Service has been good & relatively quick.

The crew on drive-through between 6.30pm-7.00pm customer service was on point 👏 1st time getting a frozen coke that was filled precisely greeted and farewelled too 🙂

Someone threw a piece of cheese at the roof and it stuck, pretty sick bro. Would recommend if you're ditching and you're a student from one of the high schools, they'll serve you if you're in uniform during school time. CHUR.

This morning walked into McDonald's Wanganui the one opposite Wanganui Intermediate about 8:30 am to about 9:30 a customer service representative was ready and willing to support well done. Excellent all round service lovely and clean, service with a smile and neatly dressed keep up the good work and service Wanganui

While burger king was closed due to unforseen circumstances. Your resteraunt took the brunt of the fallout and the resteraunt was inundated with customers. And your staff met the challenge with hard work and an awesome attitude towards the customers. A very pleasurable experience I may say.

Typical McDonalds. Service is based on staff working. They need to be consistent when serving at counter or directing to self service. Even with covid others are serving directly there is no reason this store cant.

Great place if your eating in. If takeaway just be prepared to receive burgers not yet assembled. The 'make your own burger' part is taken a little too literal. But on a good note... best shakes ever

The playground here is fantastic for being able to let them go have fun, burn off some energy and give the parents a little space, yet at the same time you can still watch them safely. My boys made friends with lots of other kids and they all have a ball, no issues, no fighting. The slides were entertaining and I really like the set up of the playground, as well as the fact they had so much outdoor seating yet all covered for the weather. It gives me peace of mind knowing next time I'm passing through Whanganui that it's a place I can stop, get a feed for all and the kids can run around happily and safely for a bit before we continue our journey.

It's a McDonald's, you'll pretty much get what you expect. Reasonably clean, decent enough food. Disability accessable toilet with baby change table. Recently renovated with new kids playspace. Takes bookings for use of the party room.

Ordered soft serve ice creams. The young girl Felicity was prompt in making them. Eftpos is setup over the counter for ease of use now. May a friendlier greeting and goodbye wouldn't of gone a miss.

Felt sorry for attendant telling child in playground to not play on outside of the slides.About 8 to 10 years old plus read rules later specifically saying exactly not to do that whilst mother watched doing nothing motified with attendant telling him to get off. She walks over and he wouldn't get off for her either.By now she's a bit sheepish and more understanding of attendant so it seemed. Good on you guys Maccas Wanganui. Clean busy and staff are great. Keep good work up guys.

The newly refreshed McDonald's on Victoria Ave is very clean and crisp with a relaxed atmosphere. The self ordering is quick and simple. Coffee was great with vanilla and the raspberry and white chocolate muffin very tasty.

I don't generally give any overall rating for McDonald's or the like as I would deem it useless. It actually comes down to the service (yes) and the manor of the staff who served you on the day.... I myself have always had a polite and attentive teller from MacDonald's Whanganui so far though 😀

I when to the McDonald's Wanganui on 5 Feb this year 2019. to meet up with family. I choc mint krusher drink. It was the best one I had ever have had. I didn't get freezer burn feeling in my drink. The staff who made my drink did a great job making the drink for me. And before our birthday too.

Went the for the Kiwi Burger for my wife and the Mac Attack for me. I like the self order kiosks as it is more efficient. No long wait time and the food was hot and tasty.

Awesome service sometimes find it difficult when ordering on self service but workers are happy to provide a resolution for you. Try getting your burger buns steamed I hear it's nicer that way too.
