Great franchise, has always the same food quality, it’s always very delicious. I had the spicy noodles and the spicy fried rice. If you’re vegetarian, you can choose tofu, that’s also suoer tasty.

Best Thai restaurant in Wanganui! Hot and spicy dishes you can request. Many dishes to try, both main and side dishes. Every staff in the restaurant is super friendly. They serve us with a beautiful smile and professionalism. I'm impressed with both food and service. Definitely be back again!

Walked and ordered takeaways for 4 people on a busy night. Took no longer than 10mins for the food to come out and drove for about 15mins home, food was still very hot and absolutely delicious🤤 100% recommend and well worth 5 stars!!

Can't fault the food! Friendly, kind service. I had steamed chicken with ginger. The ginger dipping sause was full of beautiful flavour of ginger and other astringent but subtle flavours. Next time, I'll just request further cooking of the fresh and appealing vegetables. It's just how they all cook vegetables everywhere, but I prefer greater cooking of them, that's all. (Your body cannot absorb nutrients that much from general plant matter, under cooked. We can't chew enough nor digest enough that way.) Lol.

I think if you want good food in a reasonable value, Thai House in Whanganui might be it. They can maintain their quality of food pretty well and the place is comfortable for family dining or group gatherings. Only down side is that it's toooooo hot during summer time, feels uncomfortable. Hope they can make some changes with that. Otherwise 9/10 😀

Excellent authentic Thai food in the heart of Wanganui.... excellent spread, pick any, you can't really go wrong with Thai. Although, personally, I prefer their chicken and sea food preparation over any meat dish. The staff here is super courteous, even though our order was close to their closing time and we ate past their closing time, they accommodated without complain. 5 stars just for their attitude, their food gets another 4 stars.

We go often. It's (relatively) cheap and cheerful. Yummy menu but don't expect incredibly authentic thai food. Sometimes they don't have roti until the evening. Otherwise I would probably eat there everyday if I could.

We are local people who have alsways bought takeaways from here because the food is nice and it is cheap, however we didn't used to eat in as it had old stained carpet. Well they have replaced this now with wooden floor slats and it has completely changed the atmosphere we had a lovely eat in dinner the other night 2 of us with drinks $49.00 we will definatly keep going - Well done Thai Express Wanganui
